Stayed for 3 nights, hotel in good location, modern room and size are OK (especially in Hong Kong). Reception and Concierge service was prompt. Free mobile phone with unlimited data provided. Considerate how much I pay, I think is a good value. I paid much more 3 years ago when I first visited Hong Kong

I went to Hong Kong from 14-19 of May to visit my friend who study in Hong Kong (tst) Tsim Sha Tsui. I have a view choices of hotel in Hong Kong, yet I choose the right hotel, which is The Empire Hotel CausewayBay. Hotel is accesible to bus station to go Tin Hau MTR station, tram to city, and also bus stop A11 to Hong Kong International Airport. Talking about the room, is kinda Hong Kong style hotel, quite small but cozy. I love the bed, makes me feel comfortable and relax to stay for 5 nights... Read more

This hotel is conveniently located between Causeway bay and Tin Hau stations, also the airport bus A11 stops near-by. I found going by bus is more convenient because you don't need to take your luggage from the train and then moving to another bus or subway. The hotel rooms are not very big, but not tiny at the same. There is even a bath tube in the bus room. The staff is very helpful and friendly, was always eager to answer my questions and ready for advice. The breakfast has some European and... Read more

We enjoyed our stay on this hotel. They have a great and efficient staff that cater to our needs. When we ask for something, they were able to help and assist right away. They did not procrastinate and put on hold our requests. The rooms are big and clean compared from what I've heard from other people on the same price range. We booked the hotel via Agoda and when we checked-in we were asked for a deposit of HKD500, which we weren't prepared for. However, we were able to waive the fee when ... Read more

The staff were very nice and polite whenever we spoke to them. There was actually a bit of confusion before we arrived because I said we'd be at the hotel much earlier than check-in but I just meant that I'd be dropping off my bags in the morning before checking in later in the day. I had email correspondence with one of their staff and we were easily able to figure everything out and the staff member I wrote to was very understanding and conscientious. The room itself was very large! The siz... Read more

So impressed with the free snaks and delicious coffee and the nicest Hongkoneese waitress in a stunning views in a 30th floor lounge, but so dissapointed with the small room with too small beds and a minusculous bathroom and the uggliest curtains for a more than $100/night rate, not comfortable stay at all.

Its a last min booking via, i wasn't having high expectation to the room/hotel but it did impress me with many little things. 1- The rooms are as usual small, but its fitted with all the necessary stuff such as cabinet, fridge, safe, proper toilet with rain shower, flat screen TV and a queen size bed with 2 choice of pillow selection. But might be too small if you are bigger or is twin sharing. 2- The rooms comes with a mobile phone call Handy for use, it allows you to call internat... Read more

Our flight was delayed so we only checked in at 02:30. We were booked into a tiny, dirty room. After reviewing our booking, we went to the check in desk and complained and they then transferred us to the original room we had booked. This definitely let a bad taste as we were exhausted and felt that we were being taken advantage of. (This seems to be the norm for non-Asian people as we witnessed the same happening to 2 other sets of people) The room is very small. Literally just a bed and a tin... Read more

The bed was very comfy, but the carpets on the floor were dirty, humid all the time, and the room didnť smell good. We got a smart phone with all apps you need in a city, maps, guides.. great!! The Hotel is about 40 mins drive in taxi from the Airport. The hotel is located near the Victoria Park. The rooms are small as expected when compared to other ASIAN destinations. The buffet spread is quite good but the hotel serves the same menu everyday. Also the mini-lounge serves you with snacks and drinks. But again the snack menu is very consistent. If you are staying for more than 4 days, you will be bored of eating the same dishes everyday. The bathroom is tiny. But overall the experience ... Read more

We spent 4 nights at the Empire Hotel and we have to admit that we loved it. The staff was super nice and helpful. The rooms are big enough for Hong Kong standards . The bathroom is very well equipped but has a small smell of sewer that sometimes bothered us. A very good experience over all . I would recommend it.

This is a budget/ business class hotel in short but strategic location I must say. The train station is less than few minutes walk and food shops are abundant, especially dessert shops. The hotel has simple setup, a bit dark I felt but cozy. Reception staffs are good with good command of English and efficient. Thumbs up to them. I stayed in standard room which I do feel its a bit old, especially there is a stain on the carpet which can be a bit grouse for my comfort but soon I just get used to ... Read more

First things first: if you are arriving in Hong Kong and want to find the hotel through the Metro, don't get off at Causeway Bay station; go on to the next stop, Tin Hua, which is much closer in the HK heat. The staff are friendly and efficient but you have to pay an easily refundable deposit of $HK500 for the facilities in the room. While it's a modern building the lifts are tragically slow virtually always. The room was clean and brilliantly maintained, though we had to adjust the Arctic air ... Read more

If you looking for no frill, no tv channels to choose from and no service, look no further. Light sleepers be warned, noisy. A small room with working shower. Opt for the double bed because single is small. Breakfast is decent but maybe like me, you end up having an argument trying to convince the dinning room supervisor your room does include breakfast.

Good spot to stay if you're looking for accommodations in Causeway Bay but want to save money or avoid the crowds. It seems out of the way but is only a 5 minute walk from the Tin Hau MTR station (A2). Good choices for dining within easy walking distance and plentiful taxis for journeys elsewhere. You can take airline bus to get to the hotel. Although it took about 50 minutes, it was still really convenient. There are a lot of nice restaurants around the hotel. We had so many fantastic meals there. It is just 5 minutes to Tien Ho station, and you can go almost everywhere you want. And moreover, their VIP room is really nice, too. The hotel looks nice at first glance, but fall short for several reasons: the humidity level is outrageous. I understand that Hong Kong is humid, but I had to crank the AC at frigid temperatures in order to keep the room 'comfortable'.
