We spent a whole week in this hotel. When we arrived we were assisted with our luggage right away. Check in was quick and all questions well answered. Room was clean and it has all you need. Bed, TV, bathroom (shower only), fridge, etc. We didn't miss anything. The room was just a bit small, but this is Hong Kong, so we didn't expect a huge room anyway. We booked a room towards the city and not the harbour as the increase of rate for harbour view was quite high. We once called housekeeping a... Read more

I stayed twice at this hotel for pleasure and recovery after surgery and it was amazing for its location and the room view. Front desk staff are very helpful and nice. The lounge in the morning with the great smile and helpful Chris was an extra that made us saying we have to go back to see CHRIS:) Thanks for helping even in planning the day. The harbour view room is so relaxing and great.

A lovely and very clean boutique hotel with modern accommodations and helpful staff. It was convenient to shopping and several wonderful tourist attractions, specifically, Man Mo Temple, which we walked to one day. We only stayed for two days and did not eat in the dining room so I can't comment on food. The concierge staff guided us to a very expensive restaurant one night and called to reserve a table in our name. The meal was good but not for $100/person. That is my one complaint as I'm cer... This Marriott courtyard is excellent. The location is a little out from Central but is a quick tram, MTR or Taxi ride so very easy to get around from Sai Ying Pun. Its also nice to be in a slightly more 'local' neighborhood and to have the views of the ocean. The hotel is clean, functional and very comfortable and the service is always warm, friendly and efficient. I think this is an excellent value hotel in HK and would not have hesitation in reccomending it, in fact i am a regular guest there.

I enjoyed my stay here - the location was convenient to the Macau ferry (my focus for this trip); I had a nice Harbor View room; but what really impressed me was the staff, both at the front desk, and in the Executive Lounge. The location is not your typical business or touristy spot, but as with anything on Hong Kong Island, accessible by MTR or tram. It's ideal if you're looking for a peaceful area still on the island. There's a Starbucks a two-minute walk away. The front desk was friendly and efficient. The room is spacious, I got a corner room, always a plus... though the view isn't something to write home about. Excellent customer service, Nelson Wan and his staff went out of their way to ensure my stay was not only comfortable but they also took time to enlighten me on Hong Kong activities in general (e.g. sight seeing tips, restaurant recommendations, and travel tips). As a frequent Marriott business traveler, this was superior to any Courtyard Marriott I've stayed in North America. The harbor views were nothing short of spectacular as well as the executive lounge and Momo restaurant.

Location is not great but regularly scheduled, free shuttle, made up for that. Room was somewhat small but was clean, modern, comfortable and had great view of harbor. Fitness facility was well equipped. The buffet restaurant was a little pricey but the food was good. The only thing better than the great room price was the awesome staff. Everyone we encountered was very courteous and helpful.

The hotel is located slightly on the quiet side of town. But a 5 minutes taxi ride will take you into the heart of Hong Kong, that is..... If you find a taxi. Check in was quick and simple and there are 3 elevators serving this tall and skinny building. Room size was small, but still decent. Overall was clean and all switches are functioning. I booked and prepaid my room 3 weeks in advance. 1 week before I checked-in, I noticed that the rates are now even lower, and comes with additional benefits. I called the hotel and asked for an explanation. Their response was "Too bad for you, since you prepaid, we can't do anything about it". Very unpleasant experience even before I checked-in. On top of top, I realised that Marriott member rate is higher than standard rates! First time I've encountered this in all my Marriott stays.

Very pleasant hotel if you're not expecting extravagance. The rooms facing the harbour have wonderful views and although on the small side are well thought-out and spotlessly clean. The training in this hotel is terrible. They never upgrade the room to a suite or a corner room for platinum member. The staff were talking very loud in Cantonese and ignored as if there is no customer. The check in staff Alan forget to give the platinum gift and lied that he did. Trams stop near the Hotel. Kennedy town, where there are a lot of restaurants and pubs, is less than 10 minuites by tramway. They have a free shuttle bus to central. But an public airport bus stops in front of the hotel. Staff members are very friendly and nice. I stayed at Harbor side room. Scenery of Hong Kong h... Read more

We were upgraded to a corner room with amazing harbour view. The rooms are modern and comfortable and reasonable size for Hong Kong. The staff are very helpful - particularly in the executive lounge and restaurants - can't do enough to help you. Location is good - a small walk away from the main hub but MTR, buses and tram all conveniently outside. Interesting to be staying in the more local area rather than main tourist areas. Highly recommend this hotel to stay in

We've stayed at this hotel twice. it is conveniently located to the tram to central Hong Kong. The bus stop to and from the airport is located across the street. The breakfast in the restaurant and in the club were both very good. The rooms were small but had good views of the harbor. The staff is attentive and very helpful. We will stay here for future trips to Hong Kong.

Stayed here for a night when visiting friends in HK. Rooms are of good size for the price and well equipped. Great views of the bay. Decent bathroom which often is a problem in HK. Location not that great. Although all the marketing materials say the hotel is in Sheung Wang it is quite far from that location. Getting a taxi was quite challenging throughout my stay and I think the location does not help. However you can take the tram from up the road from the hotel and the tram gets you into ... Read more

Overall room quality was excellent though a little small, the free Wi-Fi was good but inconsistent had to do multiple re-enters. Business office associate was of great assistance helping us with booking of airline tickets, she went above and beyond. Concierge and looby staff were of great help. Access to public transport, both bus and subway were very convenient.

As the only Courtyard in Hong Kong (Sha Tin is in the NT), I thought this would be a nice alternative to the other, more pricier Marriott options in Hong Kong. The room was small but comfortable, wireless excellent, check in and check out smooth and quick. I didn't experience the executive lounge as I had other plans but when I looked in the door, it was spacious but very busy for breakfast. The bed was super comfortable and I received an upgrade to a harbour view. The view was of the food d... Read more

I only stayed for one night, but I was pleasantly surprised that they offered a shuttle from the airport express train to the hotel. From check-in, I was made to feel welcome, and it was a nice experience. They were able to accommodate a late check out the next day; however the shuttle back out to the airport express only runs a bit more than once an hour, so i had to go down the street a bit to get to a shuttle stop. Overall, it was a nice stay.

This place only cost marginally more than my shoebox sized Ibis I'd stayed in Hong Kong previously so staying here was a no brainer for me. For those who have complained about the size of the rooms, they obviously haven't been to many hotels in Asia! The rooms were big by Hong Kong standards, and even by Western standards I was more than happy with mine. The room was very comfortable - good shower, TV, very strong but quiet aid conditioning... I was given a high floor room which had a view of so... Read more

- Nice small hotel - Shuttle service from Airport Express - Rooms are a bit small but OK - Harbour view or corner rooms are excellent - Nice compact gym - Helpful staff One drawback is that the hotel does not have a good restaurant. Only one option. If groups come in the it can get a bit crowded

Got a very good deal from Marriott web site , because need a hotel stay for one night. As typhoon caused my flight cancelled, need a hotel for one more night. Marriott never let me down, the room was very nice and the bed was just what I like. Most of beds at hotels are hard in Hong Kong. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful with their great service. As I need to catch the early flight in the morning, they gave me suggestions and helped me with the transportation at 5 am. Let's get the one big drawback out of the way: this Courtyard is in a lowbrow working-class neighborhood, well off the beaten track most visitors will favor, and anything tourists might like to see is a taxi or tram ride (bring your Octopus card) away. The hotel door staff has difficulty hailing taxis, especially during rush hours -- they are not cruising this area in droves -- so be patient. (The hotel operates a free van shuttle to better-trafficked areas, but we opted for taxis.) The negati... Read more

Just stayed 6 nights at this great property. The room was on the 21st floor with a wonderful water view. Rooms are very well appointed and very clean. All the employees at this property from the check-in desk, to the concierge, to the Executive Lounge attendants are superb. Very friendly and polite staff. Very welcoming. The Director of Sales, Benoit Mouclier, was a daily presence at the property ensuring all of our needs were met. Would definitely stay here anytime I am in Hong Kong.

As a first-time visitor to HKG, the staff made my stay comfortable, enjoyable and welcoming. From the front-desk to the exec lounge, the service was top-notch. Even better than most typical US-based hotels. Corner room overlooking harbor was clean, quiet, and modern with a comfortable bed, well-run internet access and efficient room service. Definitely worth a repeat visit to Hong Kong and a big thanks to the staff at the Courtyard for making it memorable.

My fiancé and stayed at the Courtyard Marriott for two weeks, hence we chose a hotel chain which we were familiar to. Check-in- After a 13 hour, we were so glad the hotel was able to arrange for an early check-in so we can wind down and freshen up. (We arrived at the hotel at 8:30am). Staff was friendly and quick with the check-in. We were asked if we would like access to the member lounge for an extra $200HKD that gave us access to snacks, food and newspaper. We knew that we would be out mo... Read more

Courtyard Marriott is located in the Western District of Hong Kong Island. It is definitely a most vibrant area. If you want a taste of old Hong Kong, that is the place to stay. The streets are full of small local shops and restaurants. Charming. Courtyard Marriott is a relatively new hotel. My room is large by Hong Kong standard. Its modern, clean with all the amenities you want and need. The MTR i(subway) is 2 blocks away, the tram and bus stops, half a block. They run a shuttle to Cen... Read more

The service at this hotel is nice, greetings from the staff when I entered the hotel, friendly staff at check-in and the ones taking my call from my room when I need something. Efficient check in and pleasant reception staff. Very helpful. Comfortable room. Good breakfast buffet. Good location with close proximity to shops and transport. Fast checkout. The only downside to the hotel is there is construction going on all around. Otherwise pleasant stay would recommend this hotel to other travellers.

I have stayed in this hotel a number of times and each time, it's very pleasant. The mobile app is pretty neat. I got a few items I needed just by requesting them on the app. The negative of this stay is that I got the inland view which in HK is ... well, I would have preferred the harbor view.

We stayed here for 5 nights in Nov 2016 during a family vacation with 3 other couples. The hotel was the most reasonably priced of the Marriott facilities in Hong Kong, and this was likely because the rooms were pretty small and the hotel's location is a bit removed from the center of activity in Hong Kong. However, a free shuttle from the hotel to downtown ran hourly, which helped a lot. One couple with our group was more adventurous and figured out how to use the public transportation that run... Good business hotel, quiet industrial area. Rooms are standard but nice. Empty mini bar which I find strange. Bar at the second floor is good for an afternoon drink. Outside the hotel nothing much to do but for business well located. Attached to the hotel there is a nice Chinese restaurant for lunch or diner. Summary; convenient hotel for business, nit advisable when you come to explore the downtown city of Hong Kong. Too far away

My husband and I have stayed at this hotel in January of this year. It was wonderful hotel! There was friendly staff at the reception and in the restaurant. Our apartment was quite large for Hong Kong. There were a big bed, a beautiful and clean shower and a toilet in our room. Also there were an iron and ironing board!!! Metro is near the hotel (5-7 minutes walk). From the hotel 20 minutes walk to the centre. I liked this hotel.

Arrived in HK jet-lagged and beat after a 16 hour flight very early in the morning. The staff at Courtyard quickly arranged transportation from the airport direct to the hotel. After a brief wait, an early check in was arranged without much fuss. Rooms are up to Courtyard's usual standards. A very pleasant welcome to HK.
