We have a nice weekend in the hotel. The room was quiet small but the location is pretty good, close to airport shutter bus and also close to subway station. There were many restaurants around. ????is also walk-able distance. The staffs were really nice and very helpful. This hotel is suitable for people with only hand bags or small suitcases.

I initially booked this hotel based on the reviews. I found a significant discount online so I thought I was very lucky to book this room. Unfortunately, I did not realize there was construction happening during our trip. Our room window was completely covered, and the room small, so we felt stifled. Fortunately, the receptionist Zoe was their to the rescue! She offered to transfer us to a sister hotel the following day. She also helped us find things to do for our trip, and unique and amazing... Me and my husband stayed here for 5 days during our HK holiday. On a normal day, where there is no construction, this place would have easily gotten a 4. Great location, kind and courteous service, and the room was very clean. However, if you are unable to sleep in past 9:30 am or so because there will be drilling from morning until the late afternoon, what is the point of a hotel room? I actually think it's a but unethical for them to be taking room as they are updating their building. Sadly, t... Read more

Rooms are so small that you'll have a hard a tough time open the bathroom door. Walls are paper thin. You'll definitely hear other guests as they get off the elevator and enter their rooms. You might even hear some late night actions from your neighbours. We originally had the superior double but the bed did not fit two adults. We upgraded to the queen and it was still too short for me - I'm about 185cm tall so my feet had to suffer a few chilly nights in socks. Service is Hong Kong service -... Read more

Unfortunately i cannot upload a video but my room was moved 3 times during my stay because of annoying and unbearably loud drilling sounds on the wall. While the room windows are all covered and there is no outside view or natural light coming in, paying 200HKD a night, a guest deserves some peace and not the extremely loud sounds of construction. Lastly i also spotted a baby lizard (2501) in the bath one day. Thankfully i am not scared but i know of friends who would have been petrified, gettin... Read more

We returned from Viet Nam through Hong Kong to Canada. We went to Victoria Peak, rode the large Ferris wheel like the one in London, and went shopping, took an evening Harbour cruise, all on our octopus card, which allows you to use the bus and amazing subway system. The hotel was excellent, although you will be seeking your own breakfast as they don't offer it. There are plenty of places to eat in the area, or travelling on the subway to a place to eat. The staff was excellent and always read... Read more

The hotel is located at a very convenience area if you're a mobile kind of traveler. It's 1-2 minutes walking away to MTR station, Tram stop and bus stop. Many restaurants around the hotel offering variety of foods such as authentic traditional duck/chicken/pork meals (just across the hotel), Thai, korean BBQ or western (and when I said "western" I meant McDonald :-P). The hotel doesn't serve foods but there's a nice coffee shop just around the corner for breakfast. Room was clean with proper u... Read more

The Butterfly hotel is exactly what you need if you're on a trip to HK! The rooms are well appointed, slightly small (but thats HK for you). The staff are really friendly and willing to go the extra mile. The great thing about the hotel is its proximity to Tin Hau train stations, bars and restaurants. Highly recommended to anyone.

The hotel is situated a short walk (less than 5 minutes) from Tin Hau metro station. It is on a busy road (they all are in Hong Kong) but our room was on the 23rd floor so no road noise. Unfortunately for us they were refurbishing the outside of the hotel and there was netting coving the outside. To ensure the workman could not look into the rooms the windows had a covering meaning we had no view whatsoever. The room was on the small side but well equipped and as we were on a sightseeing trip w... Read more

We were booked here last Nov. 25~28, 2016. Check-in was quick. I thought our room (pure air executive room) would be small based on the photos but was surprised on how comfortable it was. The size was just right for my son, my husband & I. The room & the property is very clean & well maintained. The hotel is surrounded by local restaurants & a McDonald's. You will not get hungry here. The property is a 5 minute walk from Tin Hau station (MTR) & a minute away from a Ding Ding tram stop. The direc... Read more
