My wife and I share a passion for this lovely city which is, thankfully, located at less than 45 minutes away from our home. We usually get in our car any given weekend and head out to Antigua Guatemala. We love it enough to have our own personal tour which we always try to stick to and visit our favorite places, eat at our favorite restaurants and reminisce at the same time we create new memories. Most of this takes place on our 5a Avenida Sur and the wide array of cafes, restaurants, markets a... Read more

Beautiful, great and peaceful hotel/place in Antigua. Close to really good restaurants and very very close to the central park so its great because you can go walking everywhere. Great for family holidays. ...........................

There is nothing fancy about this hotel, the rooms are a good size, clean and comfortable. It's super quiet and peaceful, and the gardens are lovely. The staff were as helpful as they could be. It's a nice location, only a short walk to the central square, yet in a quiet part of town. Was good value for what we paid.

Fastest WiFi you'll find in Antigua! The hotel is nice and the location is pretty nice. The hotel is four blocks from the town square, which is close enough for you to stumble home from the bar. The nature and scenery was nice in the hotel as well. The nature walk was nice if you need to get out of the room and not leave the hotel.

We chose it because a friend recommended. It's location is very good; the facilities are nice, specially the garden! The parking lot is very spacious; the rooms and the bathroom are very clean, BUT the room has no ventilation, it only has 1 window to the hall and when the others guest arrived with their luggage (at midnight) the noise woke me up! On April the weather was very hot and inside the room only was a little fan; it was really hot inside the room all night. I think they need the rooms... Read more

The hotel is clean, has fantastic beds, not air-conditioned (but weather was cool enough), beautiful gardens and plants labeled with their common name and biological name. Enjoyed a nice breakfast-had our choice of four meals, probably because we were a group. I would stay there again. Also good for bird watchers.

The place is really nice, but subjecto to improvements. Room was nice, but wi fi not very good. Food, at least in my case, was a "set dish" and the quality was just fair. Service is top in all cases, such front desk, bell boy, and even the waiters in restaurant. All in all, the hotel is nice but I can not refere my comment to price levels, bacause I did not pay for my stay.

Rooms were lovely, bed was very comfortable. Staff were extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Unfortunately didn't have the opportunity to eat there due to early morning tours and departure. Great location.

Spacious rooms, hotel is very clean and staff friendly. No safe provided but security on site 24/7. Breakfast was a hot and cold buffet but not much to choose from. The hotel requires quiet from 10pm. Free wifi throughout.

This was a wonderful place with superb service and food! Highly recommend this place! It is on the "outskirts" of the "square" but well within walking distance of all shops and restaurants etc. Wifi wasn't as strong in the room we were in, but we still managed.

Las Farolas is a terrific property with great service, food with lush gardens all in the charming surroundings of Antigua. Although it is a few steps from the center of town, any walk in Antigua is enjoyable and there are sights on every block.

Hotel Las Farolas is in a quiet area but easily walkable to the market area, with all the shops and restaurants. The staff is extremely gracious and smiles are everywhere. The breakfasts are excellent and the setting is beautiful. Las Farolas is a great value.
