Right up there with Four Seasons service-wise. Very high staff to guest ratio; they cater to your every need. Nice facilities, good food, great beach. Solid all around. Very family/kid friendly, so if looking for something more quiet, may want to try Calabash.

Spice Island is one of the most accommodating hotel resorts I have been to. Nothing is too much for them. I would suggest you pre order your lunch before going to reduce your wait time in the restaurant. The food is excellent and was different everyday we were there. All the staff were helpful and pleasant. I would thoroughly recommend this resort. It is family friendly.

Grenadians are overall very friendly and outgoing...we enjoyed a morning adventure into St. George's, the capital...visited various shops, the national museum, Fort George, and ended our walkaround at BB's right on the harbor for an early lunch.. Perfect food in a perfect setting. Back to Spice Island Beach Resort...amazing setting directly on Grand Anse beach...crystal blue waters right off the back patio, spotless grounds, friendly, efficient service at every turn, varied menu at each meal, an... This was our fourth visit to Spice Island Beach Resort . Our stay this time was disappointing. We stay in the sea grape suites right on the beach. The location is very good, right on a wonderful long stretch of sandy beach. However the sand had been banked up to prevent water getting into the rooms, as happens occasionally during storm surges or when there are high swells. Consequently our view of the sea was obscured. Spice Island Beach Resort has the potential to be a great hotel but some majo... Read more

Ten days of absolutely luxury in a wonderful resort on a beautiful island. Spice Island Beach Resort well surpassed our already high expectations. Set on the quiet end of stunning Grand Anse beach, the hotel buildings and gardens were perfection. We upgraded to a Seagrape suite on arrival as my husband had been injured and could not cope with the steps up to the Oleander rooms. What a great decision. We had a huge room with two queen sized beds; a large bathroom with a big bath with separate ... Read more

This was our second visit to Spice Island Beach Resort . We stay in the sea grape suites right on the beach ,how can you beat opening your doors and setting in a comfy lounge on the beach ? And drinks offered continually by the beach server? The hotel is owned and run by The Hopkin family , this is not a corporate hotel. Each staff member feels a part of the family and it shows in the highest level of service . The food and drink are included in the cost so you never have to think about costs or... Read more

I just returned from a week at Spice Island Beach Resort and cannot find a flaw in my trip. I booked a week and then talked my sister into joining me, so she booked separately. When we arrived, they had figured out we were related in some way and upgraded our rooms and put us next to each other. Let‚??s just say we‚??ve stayed other places where they didn‚??t seem to care to put 2 and 2 together. I think within an hour or two, each of us were greeted with Mr./Miss Roberts. I wondered how they ... Read more

My husband and I visited Spice Isle Beach Resort for the very first time in September. It was my husband's 55th birthday and we wanted it to be special. The Spice Island Beach Resort did just that - made it super special. We stayed at the Luxury Almond Suite which I would recommend to those who enjoy a quiet and tucked away experience with your own private pool. The staff at S I B R are so friendly, helpful and go out of their way to make you feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible.Everyone a... Read more

There isn't much I can add onto all of the other reviews already on here and I don't think anything I write would do the resort justice. On arrival we were picked up in a fabulous BMW and driven to the hotel where we were met by a number of staff. Our fabulous room was an Almond Pool Villa - huge pool and terrace and an enormous bathroom and four poster bed. The resort is relatively small with two restaurants and a bar but you have the fabulous Grand Anse beach on your doorstep and it's a saf... Read more
