This is one of the best beach resorts in the whole of the Caribbean . The location right on grand anse beach is stunning but the staff here are really what make it, friendly attentive service from warm genuine people you will feel at home on no time. The food is exceptional and as an all inclusive it is one of the best unlike other all Inclusives here premium brand drinks are served and the dining is a la carte. Spice Island comes highly recommended for good reason. The location is unbeatable, right on the beach, and the accommodations are superb. Most of the staff are outstandingly fabulous, but there are definitely a few who didn't get the memo, so service can be a bit patchy, and at those kind of prices I expect more. The food is a bit hit-and-miss too. Some was great. Some should never have made it into the kitchen. The lobster tails, mussels and prawns I ate were all certainly resurrected from fro... Read more

Our third visit to Spice Island. This time with our 8month old in tow, and I am certain it won't be our last. I'd like to give it a 1 star review so that no one else goes that and it can be our little piece of paradise. I have written two previous detailed reviews on the resort, here are a few more comments: 1) this is not an adult only resort. If you are grumpy about happily playing children in the pool, then either go to elsewhere or book a room with a private pool. The times I have bee... Read more

It is very hard to know where to begin in describing this hotel? The previous reviews are generally glowing in praise of the level of service here and a number of them are return guests. We learnt that this was an incredible 55% from talking to Ryan Hopkin (Board member). So rather than recycle general comments on service my review will focus on hopefully being objective and make suggestions how the hotel would be 'even better if'....(Ebi) Top 10 observations and tips: 1. This hotel has thought of everything and all you have to do is relax and enjoy. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. All the staff know you by name from your first step into the hotel. The sea-grape room was our choice and we loved it. We had a look at the other rooms while we were there and decided the sea-grape was the best. My husband and I have absolutely nothing to say that is negative! The level of cleanliness, food and hospitality are just fantastic. Just a fabulous hotel. The service is amazing. The rooms are immaculate. And best of all, they were devoted to keeping my toddler happy.
