When we arrived we were told because of overbooking we were in the apartments next door with a free trip thrown in. they were very nice, cleaned everyday with the usual change of towels and sheets every few days. I found the breakfast ok in our hotel (we did go to the hotel for all our meals). There was something for everyone at every meal, if you can't find something you like, you must be very fussy. Don't bother with the soup though, it's weak and watery, I have had soup at other hotels in... Read more

We stayed here for 2 weeks , me my husband and our 11 month old daughter . The room was basic , not clean and I cut my foot on glass Within an hour of being there ! The electrics were dodgy and had cardboard holding the breakers in place in the electric box ! The bathroom was damp and had an awful smell of sewage !the first cot they gave us had a hole in when asked so it to be replaced it took 2 days then it was replaced by a broken on that she could have fallen out of ! Stayed here for a week at the beginning of August and we had a great family holiday. Couple of things that let it down was it very geared towards the Polish The food was ok but very blaned and seemed to be what the Polish would eat. The kids club was a joke again unless u were Polish. The kids entertainers spoke Polish and didn't even try to speak English and get my 2 kids to join in to the point one day one of them just spoke Polish to my little girl and because she didn't understand just shru... Just returned from a week at the Zante Village Hotel. Overall a good clean hotel with friendly staff, especially the staff on the outside bar. Oddy, runs the bar on his own, but is very quick and manages to serve everyone with a smile. The all inclusive bar starts at 10 am and finishes at 11.30 but you can pay after that The only down side is the food. there is a good selection but at every meal time the food was aired. Also it ran out before the end of the meal times stated and was not alw... Read more

This hotel is the worst place I have ever stayed. I travelled with my friend and her 16 month old child, when we arrived we were told we were on the first floor, there are no lifts and one set of stairs to go down and 2 to go up to get too the room... we were offered no help to get to the room. when we got in the room the first think we noticed was the cot, it was total broken the sides were half down and the bottom was ripped. within 2 hours of being at the hotel we called our rep and asked to ... We stayed here from the 15th June, we went through jet 2 on an all inclusive basis. Worst mistake I ever made. We were promised a kids club and evening entertainment. That didn't materialise. Apparently they started a kids club on the 2nd week of our holiday. After we complained that much to jet 2. But she (the single member of the entertainment team) didn't speak english, and if she did she chose not to, and on our return day we realised that either the resort hired a polish lady (which I dou... I recently stayed at Zante Village Hotel with my boyfriend, we stayed for 2 weeks. Overall our stay was okay, it isnt as bad as all of these reviews make out. FOOD AND DRINK; The food was edible, not half as bad as the reviews given, whenever we did eat in we enjoyed the food, could do with a little bit more variety. Thus we decided to eat out most days (either lunch or dinner) as we wanted to taste the local cuisine aswell. The snack bar was good, toasties, hot dogs, burgers and chips. However i... Read more

The hotel was very clean, however it catered for the Polish community. Food was extremely poor. As we're all inclusive drinks. Worse inclusive holiday for food and drink. UK residents should avoid this hotel. Hotel was advertised as a "kids club", again not suitable for UK children, the lovely young lady was of Polish origin, and again catered for this group of children.

I don't even know where to begin with this place. We booked this place as it was advertised as 4 star. I promise you it is anything but. We arrived on a Saturday evening and were impressed by the lobby at first. A welcoming gentleman checked us in and advised us to hurry to the dining room as it closed in 10 minutes and he wanted to make sure we could eat. I didn't see that man again after we checked in. We let ourselves into the room, a difficult task as the door had jammed. My girlfriends ... Read more

We stayed at Zante Village for 10 days with our 2 young girls (6&4) .. We read reviews and i was petrified to go!! .. But please be assured it is NOT as bad as some make it out if they want 4/5* they better start looking to pay more than we all have for this hotel .. yes it needs to be brought up to date, but we had a enjoyable holiday. Entertainment - We felt this let the hotel down the mos, There isn't a lot for the kids to do to be honest, compared to what we have had before, No dancing or si... Read more

The hotel itself is nice with a lovely pool but definitely not 4 star. It's let down by extremely poor food and drink. My son & husband are both diabetics and could not drink anything in the hotel as they do not provide any diet drinks which is disgusting in this day & age & made made them feel discriminated especially my son. We had read a previous report advising that there was no diet drinks. Obviously we were concerned & contacted Jet2 which to date I have still not had a response! Because ... Read more

The hotel is very basic 3 floors no lift. The food is never hot and very limited choice . No fried or poached eggs. The alcohol drinks are very weak and the pop is ok if you have Fanta. Small things really although you can buy pop from the little shop outside the lobby. Now the pack lunch they provide is like a famine bag . We asked for ham cobs but yet still got hard bread. Cobs available in breakfast with ham and onion be careful if you want to take them out as the lady in the dining room wi... Read more

Reading through the reviews before going on the trip helped me to prepare myself mentally to what was to come and allowed me to lower my expectations beforehand helping to avoid big disappointment on arrival. It wasn‚??t my first time in a Hotel on a Greek Island so I kind of knew what to expect in terms of Hotel cleanliness and overall standard. First of all, it never ever is a 4 Star Hotel, more like 3, or even 2 Star. The biggest drawback was the bathroom. Totally run down, with broken applia... Read more

The hotel is basic and the rooms are very clean,we had a small problem with the first room offered: it was extremely small and it smelled bad, ( I have't been able to identify, it seemed like something chemicall combined with a smell of sewage) I spoke at the reception and they were very nice and change it, not immediately but the next day after breakfast we were given another room, that was much better. The cleanliness was exemplary, they cleaned every day, sheets and towels changed every 2 days... We visited Zante Village in August 2016 as a family group of 4 adults and 2 children. We were slightly concerned about what the hotel would be like after reading other negative reviews but were pleasantly surprised when we got there. The food is very good, local dishes, children's choices and a salad bar. In addition there is a poolside snack bar with the usual ice cream, burgers, hot dogs and the best chips we've ever tasted! The staff are so friendly and appreciated us trying out our limited... Read more

Visited in may and it was wonderful. However, the same could not be said for my visit in October. They had let most of the staff go even though they knew there was nearly 100 people checking in. The food was substandard and cold, the barman not only had the bar to do but snacks as well and as a result was hard to find when you wanted a drink. There were no dark spirits only white as apparently that's what the Polish drank when they were there! No complaints were taken any notice of and I w... Read more

Hotel is a bit dated offering a basic accommodation. Our room was cleaned regularly and towels were changed daily. Quite location- about 1 km walking distance to the beach. Very nice, friendly and polite staff . Food was nice however the menu was very repetitive.

Was transferred here after being told our original hotel was closing for the winter. What can I say but absolutely bored to tears. I know it was end of season but absolutely no entertainment programme whatsoever. Not helped by the constant downpour of rain. Cold, damp rooms with only tepid water for a shower or a bath. Pool full of pond life and so many flies around you couldn't sit comfortably anywhere for more than 5 minutes. Food was only lukewarm and not much selection of all Greek dishes. F... Read more
