We stayed at this hotel for 11 nights and loved it. Reading all the other reviews, I am struggling to add anything new to say. All of the great reviews about this lovely hotel are spot on. Beautiful peaceful courtyard garden, lovely breakfast, wonderful rooms, fantastic service, convenient position, comfortable bed, helpful Alex and Kyle, and to top it off, a friendly soft cat Earl Grey. I will also mention another little cat 'no name' that deserves to be remembered for her loud demands for atte... Read more

We stayed for three nights to see the sights of the Old Town. All the wonderful reviews are true - rather than covering the same ground, the highlights for us were: - The room - we stayed in the Grand Master's suite which was tucked away upstairs on its own with a great view of the walls and garden. Really nice toiletries. - Alex and Kyle - both endlessly patient and helpful - and Earl Grey and Lady Jane (the resident characterful cats) - The peace and quiet after hours tramping the tourist si... Such a wonderful place to stay with great friendly hosts who did everything possible to make our stay a memorable one. Fantastic location withing the old city walls. They recommended a great guide named Michael who was brilliant ! Beautiful courtyard for relaxing and fantastic breakfasts. would recommend to anyone wanting to visit Rhodes.

We have stayed 4 nights at this beautiful small family run hotel, in fact , I'm writing from my room right now as we are leaving tomorrow and have so enjoyed our time here . We received an upgrade to the Pasha suite and it is amazing. You have your own hammam which we enjoyed daily and the room is huge with a seperate sitting area with a very comfy day bed. The bedroom is large with a massive bed . The bathroom has beautiful green marble. Every decorative piece has been well thought about and it... Read more

A booking that went wrong meant that the owner (Alex?) had to come and fetch us and take us back to his hotel while we sorted out things on our end - he was under no obligation to help us given that we had gotten our dates wrong and it was our mistake, but he was perfectly happy to help and gave us a lot of breathing space where other hotels wouldn't have. From what we saw, it looked like a fabulous little hotel, lovingly restored with infinitely better and more genuine service than the other bo... Read more

I was fortunate to find this quite last minute and there was a room available. Overall it was an excellent stay - great location off the main areas without being too far, and I really can't say enough about the excellent service and support of the team. Clearly there is a lot of effort and care of those owning and working here, and it showed in every interaction. Would certainly recommend to anyone who wants to stay in Old Town.

My wife and I stayed here on two weekends around a trip to another island. The hotel was extremely helpful in organising our journeys to and from the airport, taking the initiative in offering assistance rather than our having to ask. The hotel itself is a wonderful renovation of an old mansion within the city walls of Rhodes. The rooms were well appointed and comfortable. Although Rhodes Town itself can be busy and noisy, the hotel's position in one of the small alleyways which run through ... Read more

We only had two nights in the hotel but would have liked to stay longer. Nothing was too much trouble for the family to make our stay a very pleasant one. Breakfasts were excellent, the garden a lovely haven after walking around the hot town. Kyle's recommended restaurant for dinner made our stay complete. Pat Harris.

This hotel impressed us from the start with extremely efficient and helpful email confirmations and arrangements for things like transfers and tours. And the welcome lived up to the promise with a very warm greeting notwithstanding the late hour when we arrived from a rather delayed flight. We stayed in the crusader suite which I can highly recommend. A great amount of space with a huge and extremely comfortable bed and then a mezzanine level with a couple of day beds, entertainment system and v... Read more

Plenty of experience in similar boutique hotels woldwide, again as if this would be possible, reached the top. Got an update for half of our stay and will never forget the private original hamam attached to the spacious pasha suite, the friendliness of the staff and the unusual quite location only minutes away from where it all happens in the old city. A haven, a retreat, a mediëval/ ottoman way of life but with all modern facilities and profesional staff. Charm and boutiquehotel lovers don'... Read more

We spent one night at this hotel, and it was terrific. In terms of service, Alex and Kyle (brothers) were tremendously helpful and attentive. They clearly care a great deal about the well being of their guests. The facilities were beautiful -- think crusader-era decor with modern amenities (high functioning air conditioning and super comfy King-size bed). The breakfast was delicious. And the location is great for old town sightseeing. They also upgraded us, unprompted, to a bigger room, ev... Read more

I stayed here with my daughter for a week over half term. The property is beautiful, lovingly restored by the owners and to such a high standard with detailed respect to the original style. A taxi was arranged for us so transfer from the airport was trouble free. The breakfast is superb and Lena's omelettes are to die for! It is served outside in the 'garden' which is a lovely terraced area with a lovely water feature running around it and a raised area with quality sun loungers and jacuzzi.... Read more

We used this charming boutique hotel for a one night stay to explore Rhodes Town. We chose it for it's position and it's unique style, located in a quiet street within the old city walls but less than a 5 minute walk to the hustle and bustle of the Old Town. Family owned and professionally run, the owners couldn't do enough for us even when making the arrangements for our visit in advance, including arranging a private tour guide and making evening dinner reservations. We stayed in the Grand Mas... Read more

Need to contact the hotel to help you find hotel as tucked away in lane of old Rhodes town - Great location - The service is of highest standard. Staff/owners will do all they can to make your stay memorable which is why everyone will want to return. A boutique hotel - quality not quantity. Wish I had booked a longer stay.

Excellent boutique hotel in historic old town. An oasis of tranquility. Excellent service and the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Wish I had booked longer stay. Would recommend this to anyone who wants quality over quantity.

This was our 4th. stay in this beautiful hotel, and it remains as outstanding as ever. Beautifully appointed individual air-conditioned rooms and bathrooms, extremely comfortable beds, an oasis of tranquility in the bustling old town of Rhodes. A wonderfully renovated building, (undertaken by the matriarch of the English/Greek family who own and operate the hotel), a beautiful library area on the first floor, and tranquil outdoor area with a Jacuzzi, where breakfast can be taken or a pre dinner ... We have 2 small kids and had organized to stay in a fully inclusive resort near the kite surfing centre close to Kremasti. We found the resort so horrible that we decided to book another hotel to get away from it. The Spirit of the Knights Boutique was the opposite of the resort. It was a quiet Oasis in a beautiful part of the old town. Close to the mosque and a short walk to the castle. Alex and Duncan were great hosts. The breakfasts were big, healthy and very tasty (the freshly squeezed o... Read more

The hotel is calm, quiet, beautiful. Other already described the hotel as an oasis, which is the best description. It is in a beautiful part of the old town, hosted by great guys. We loved the garden, jacuzzi, room and the breakfasts. Every day the croissant became bigger! The rooms are spacious (we were in the Rhodos suite, which was great for two adults plus 2 kids of 1 and 4). It has a very calming vibe, looking out onto the city walls of the old town.

The Spirit of the Knights is a very special hotel and we love it. The staff are professional and friendly and you can see that their guests are very important to them. The breakfasts were varied and the omelets the best I have ever had. The room was large, immaculate and the bed ? the biggest and most comfortable ever.

Stayed at this exquisite hotel for three nights with my partner in early August and I can confirm that it is truly a hideaway. The garden has been designed to perfection and the room (we stayed in the Ottoman Suite) was extremely comfortable with great attention to detail.

The staff were all charming and polite. We were upgraded on arrival to a beautiful room. The gardens were delightful - and the cool jacuzzi refreshing as there was not a pool. I could have sat there for a week without moving, it was so peaceful. The restoration of the building was stunning and the hotel immaculate. A real gem,, we will definitely return. Shame it is only B and B as once I arrived, I really didn't want to leave the hotel.

I travel a lot and am very fussy when it comes to where I stay and I can honestly say this hotel was perfect.....The rooms and the hotel gardens are beautiful and so tranquil, a fantastic breakfast is served out on the terrace and the service is impeccable, Alex met us on arrival in the old town and escorted us to the hotel and he was there again on our departure to say goodbye and everyone that served us in this hot... In such a Place I would like to live for 3 or 4 month! Just to walk in the old narrow streets, enjoy the fresh, shadowy yard with its water springs and read in the old library of the house... It was such a calm, comforting athmosphere and made me feel Home.

We were staying in Lindos and decided to treat ourselves to a night in Rhodes old town. The hotel is a beautifully restored medieval property with a gorgeous outside area within the city walls, but just tucked back from the crowds so lovely and peaceful! Lots of lovely extra touches and attention to detail. Breakfast was delicious! The owners were so welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable!

We absolutely loved this hotel! It is exotic, with decorations that are more middle Eastern, -- very tasteful and altogether lovely. The staff were fabulous, family-owned and very eager to please. We were served superb breakfasts on their shaded and enclosed terrace, and several late evening snacks and drinks, there, too. The hotel is a little quirky, but in a good way. There are stairs to climb and it is an older building remodeled and converted, but they did a wonderful job of transforming it ... Read more

This is a simply wonderful hotel, an oasis of peace and comfort amind the heat and turmoil of Rhodes Old Town. Just six suites, we stayed in the Crusader Suite, grand but enormously comfortable. Kyle and Alex were wonderful hosts and breakfast in under the trees in the courtyard was a treat. Not cheap but worth every Euro!

This was our 2nd stop on our honeymoon and it was AMAZING!! The property was beautiful and the service unmatched. Andy, Kyle and Duncan were simply incredible. We never wanted for anything, our room was kept immaculate, and they gave fantastic recommendations for restaurants, bars and shops.
