Perfect hotel, we recommend it 100%. It is a very nice and very clean hotel, in a quiet area 2 minutes from the beach. The food was very tasty with a big variety of hot plates, salads, desserts and fresh fruits. As for the staff they were all very helpful.

Everything you positive that you read in other reviews is true, and I did not see anything negative. I will try to give you all the information I was looking for before I booked this hotel We stayed at the hotel between the 6th and 17th of May, about 3 weeks after it opened for the season (I believe it opened on the 22nd of April). Consequently, it was only about 1/3 full, mostly of older couples. We were the only English couple there for the first week but we didn't notice as the other guests ... Read more

Stayed here as a couple for a week. Had a junior suite. Large room with a great shower. But nothing special to mark it as a suite. Where not able to charge anything or leave air con on during the day as when you remove your card and leave it all goes off. So you come back to a hot room. But it was a nice room, though the beds are very very hard. So if you need a soft bed you are out of luck. Handy that there is a kitchenette in there so you can make coffee or tea. The staff are lovely and make ... Read more

We just got back from 2 lovely weeks on Crete. I've read a lot of the reviews here and find many comments unfair. Criticising bad travel reps or the restricted choice of alcohol at the bar are things which I feel have no place here. Overall, this hotel offers great value for money. There are still about 20 rooms which have to be renovated to the new standard. This should happen in winter 2016. The hotel was very clean. The Greeks have a student plumbing system to other places in Europe, so ... Read more

We stayed end of May for 10 days, could not fault anything from food to service. All the staff did their job with a smile. Surrounding area was great for walks, which we enjoy. Hotel has international guests but we always managed to communicate, we met some really great people. Would return and hope to do so. Sylvia + Ian.

Stayed for 2 week end of may. We arrived just after midnight we where shown our room and then invited to the bar for somthing to eat and a drink which was very much appreciated and needed. All the staff are so nice nothing is to much trouble. The room was very clean and cleaned each day. The food was really good. I would say it's not suitable for kids but the have a sister hotel right on the beach this is more for families I think. I would definitely return to this hotel.

We booked a two week all inclusive with Thomas cook uk. Flight from Birmingham is approx 4 hours. Transfer is about 2 hours roughly but you do pass through some quaint little villages. As a hotel the dimitrios is a great place to stay. The staff are very hard working and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are clean and well maintained. Staff are very polite and can't do enough for you. Towels are changed regular and so are the beds. Location is great as well. Tucked just down a si... Read more

This is a tricky one to review. The staff were great and the rooms were fine and were cleaned daily. The only issue I had was that the towels were very rough, something you notice more when you've overdone the sun a bit. Free internet is available in the bar/reception area, although it is a little intermittent at times. You would have to pay for internet in your rooms. There are 2 computers in the reception area which you can use for free. A 'safe' box is available for about 25 euros for 2 w... Read more

On a positive note, this hotel is in a great location on the outskirts of the town. This means you are close enough to walk into the much busier town, but far enough away from the noise. The junior suite we stayed in was also clean and spacious (but smelly, more of this later). The staff were all very friendly and professional. The gorgeous beach is only two minutes away and sun loungers are readily available, for 6 euros for 2 loungers. There are, however, a lot of negatives : 1. the room smell... Read more

Arrived late evening pleasantly surprised there was a salad left in our fridge which was a nice touch! Told we could also go to the bar and have a free drink! Hotel very clean, room pleasant and hotel in an excellent location! Stayed two weeks but never used the pool as very small and sun beds taken up early! Food ok, breakfast very basic and food was reused for different meals I did end up with a bad stomach for a few days! It seemed to cater more for the French and German guests! No good for k... We arrived at approx 3 am and were checked in and shown to our room. They had kindly left a cold plate and 2 bottles of water in the fridge. Our room was very modern and spotlessly clean as was the whole hotel. We didn't have any complaints about the hotel and found the staff to be very friendly especially Nicolletta and Mario who work in the bar. There was entertainment 3-4 times during our stay but on the whole I would say it is more suited to adults/families with older children. The food w... Read more

This really is a clean, well run, hotel with a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. At the time of year that we travel, September/October time, the hotel is perhaps coming towards the end of the season and is not as fully booked as it would have been in July and August perhaps. Having said that it is not the largest of hotels so would say that even at its maximum capacity, meal times and drinks at the bar would not be a nightmare. Some resort hotels we have stayed in, you would have to be at the rest... Read more
