About ten steps to the main street where there are restaurants and shops galore. We stayed ten days and went to a different, delightful place to eat every night. The girls who share the 'desk' are the best you could wish to meet and make you feel like a friend from the moment you meet. The rooms are quite luxurious and so different from your usual hotel. Breakfasts have loads of choices of local food which is delicious. The hotel has a lift to the bedrooms but not down to the swimming pool whi... Read more

Antica is in a very central location, our room was very nice, bathroom was disappointing, showed over bath has to be handheld & taps were positioned behind so impossible to take a relaxing bath. The staff were really great & helpful& the place was very clean. But breakfast was a big let down. Food brought in not cooked fresh. Hot food kept warm for hours, eggs hard & inedible, fruit that had seen better days. The coffee was pretty ok, if you must stay in this very expensive hotel, opt for room o... Read more

As we went into the beautiful house that has been converted into a small boutique hotel with 9 ensuite rooms, I noticed that TripAdvisor gave this lovely hotel a 9.3 rating - they are totally wrong - it should have been a 10+. Georgia, Vaso, Amalia and Adrianna looked after us so well - they were always on hand to help. Georgia was always on hand giving plenty of ideas of places/attractions to visit. The beds were extremely comfortable and large, the shower great. We were given complimentary to... Read more

We enjoyed our time in Rethymnon and were very happy staying at Antica Dimora Suites. We chose a junior suite with balcony and it was very quiet even though we were in the heart of the old town. The room was large and appointed with everything you would expect. It was cleaned daily and the breakfast buffet was very generous. There is no parking but there is a public car park near the four martyrs church (3min walk). A word of caution, the car park turns into a fruit and vegetable market on T... Read more

Very comfortable bed. Excellent friendly and obliging staff - nothing too much trouble. Bathroom in our en suite was very cramped though. Shower not working properly. Pool area quite small. No bar. Nowhere to dry clothes etc.- little niggles which unfortunately let it down. Would still recommend because the staff were so good.

We passed a very pleasant and comfortable vacation time at this B&B hotel. Particularly, we want to thank Georgia, Vaso and Adriana for their constant kindness. We found the rooms quiet and very clean. Rethymnon during August has less traffic and tourists than Chania, so this small city became the ideal place to rest during our stay in Crete. We changed every day beach and place to eat with full satisfaction. Again, the staff of the Antica Dimora Suites helped us to make the best choice every da... Read more

First, the location is fantastic, everything is within reach, lots of restaurants and shops right outside your door. Second the staff, which makes this hotel so wonderful. This is probably the nicest staff I have ever encountered! Sooo helpful and emphatic. Got lots of great recommendations for places to see! The rooms are beautiful and unique, the breakfast is delicious and has many varieties of food and freshly squeezed juices. Our stay was soooo cosy. Housekeeping was at it's best! Antica Dim... First and foremost the staff at Antica Dimora are first class. Vaso in particular made the most welcoming stay for us. On arrival we had fresh orange waiting for us. After our bags were put in the room, which was beautiful, we got a map and some further information and tips on places to eat and see, this information was super useful, and we received more great recommendations as the trip went on. The rooms are beautiful, stone walls, nice sized bathrooms, high ceilings, and our room had a balco... Read more

We just spend a lovely week in Antica Dimora Suites in Rethymnon. Everything was perfect: very central location in the old town, nice clean and quiet room, great greek breakfast containing daily fresh baked goods and last but not least really helpful and caring personnel. Thank you for a great week!

What a great small hotel. It was recommended to us and we were not disappointed. The rooms are beautiful and well appointed. The staff are especially welcoming and friendly and can't do enough for you. During our stay Basso and Adrianna could not have been more helpful. They also gave us good information on where to eat. Hope to return.
