The location is very good if you plan to take the ferry to e.g. Mykonos in early morning. Just 5 min walk to the pier (E9 for Seajet) despite the fact that the port is very large indeed. Taking Metro to Athens city centre is also easy (30~40 min). The room and toilet are small but acceptable, except the shower tub. It is the smallest I ever used in hotels. The curtain usually stick to your body during showering in spite of my slim bodybuild. The toilet becomes wet through even if you are very "c... Read more

Impecable. Lovely staff, beautiful views from the roof restaurant. Brekfast is great and opens very early (5.30) if you are travelling to the islands. Perfect location for that purpose, but away of the noisy surroundings of the port. Shower is small, but my bathroom had a windowwhich is not frequent in hotels.

This hotel is in a great location near the port if you are taking a ferry or a cruise. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They arranged a taxi pick up at the airport for a reasonable price and even managed to retrieve my camera that I left in the taxi. Breakfast is very good, room was fine, the roof top restaurant had good food at a reasonable price and the view was a nice extra. Would definitely stay there again.

This hotel is always busy because of its convenient location for the ferry port. We have been staying for some years and it improves all the time. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed though we had a small one this time. The shower works well & there is a hairdrier. The bed is comfortable . It is a bit irritating that the fridges are now locked as one wants to cool water in it. Reception will unlock it but it is a bit of an effort. There are two lifts which is great with luggage. We managed to get the last available room, a family room. It was very spacious and even provided slippers. We were given a 10% discount at the rooftop restaurant which we used after going out for a walk and a drink. The food was excellent, saganaki king prawns and grilled sea bream were very good. We used this hotel last year because it is so close to the port and you can get breakfast from 05.30 which is a bonus when you are on the early ferries. I didn't stay in this hotel because if was more than twice the cost in high season of the charming Lilia Hotel, where I stayed for a week. But I met a friend at the restaurant - and kept coming back! It was outstanding! The menu was very creative - I had grilled sardines wrapped in grape leaves, something in all my times in Greece I'd never seen. The other choices I had were all excellent. It's about a 10 to 15 minute walk from the metro, so be aware of that if you are walking, which we were with two wheeled suitcases. We managed without difficulty. Due to cancellation of our flight we had to take the ferry from Italy to Patras, arriving at 8:00pm then a taxi to Piraeus, arriving at the hotel at 11:30pm. The front desk team made the taxi reservations for us and stayed in contact to ensue that the taxi arrived on time, a blessing considering the late hour.

Convenient for port - stayed 1 night returning from Aegina en-route to Athens. Hotel was clean with helpful and efficient staff on Reception. Did not eat in restaurant as hotel handy for local eateries, shops etc. And airport bus stop (X96) just 5 minutes walk away. Given the low price I was very pleasantly surprised to see my room (206). I've experienced inferior accommodation at double the price. Would definitely use again.

We had an early ferry, so spent one night at this hotel, which is just a 3 minutes stroll from the E9 dock that our ferry was leaving from. Friendly receptionist, clean basic rooms with a safe and hairdryer, and the breakfast room is open from 05:30. Recommend for a short stay.
