The location is very good if you plan to take the ferry to e.g. Mykonos in early morning. Just 5 min walk to the pier (E9 for Seajet) despite the fact that the port is very large indeed. Taking Metro to Athens city centre is also easy (30~40 min). The room and toilet are small but acceptable, except the shower tub. It is the smallest I ever used in hotels. The curtain usually stick to your body during showering in spite of my slim bodybuild. The toilet becomes wet through even if you are very "c... Read more

The rooms were very clean and with enough space to place my yoga mat and stretch. The staff was just lovely and went over their line of duty to make sure you needed what you needed. I would come and stay here anytime.

Impecable. Lovely staff, beautiful views from the roof restaurant. Brekfast is great and opens very early (5.30) if you are travelling to the islands. Perfect location for that purpose, but away of the noisy surroundings of the port. Shower is small, but my bathroom had a windowwhich is not frequent in hotels.

This hotel is in a great location near the port if you are taking a ferry or a cruise. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They arranged a taxi pick up at the airport for a reasonable price and even managed to retrieve my camera that I left in the taxi. Breakfast is very good, room was fine, the roof top restaurant had good food at a reasonable price and the view was a nice extra. Would definitely stay there again.

The Piraeus Dream City hotel is bang opposite the Piraeus port and makes great sense if your catching a ferry to santorini or any of the islands.Do not go by the facade of the hotel as the rooms are good spacious and clean. Its great value for money.Shopping avenues and cafes are within walking distance so is the airport shuttle bus stop.Breakfast if not included is available at 7 euros per person. The hotel also has complimentary coffe and hot choclate unlimited at their reception and can be take... This hotel is always busy because of its convenient location for the ferry port. We have been staying for some years and it improves all the time. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed though we had a small one this time. The shower works well & there is a hairdrier. The bed is comfortable . It is a bit irritating that the fridges are now locked as one wants to cool water in it. Reception will unlock it but it is a bit of an effort. There are two lifts which is great with luggage. We were intially booked for one night to catch the early morning ferry to milos and the hotel was very convenient. However due to bad weather our ship was cancelled and we were lucky to find a room in the same hotel and thus stayed an extra night. Suggested hop on hop off trip of athens was good and most importantly the restaurant at the top is amazing.. Recommended

My partner and I missed our hydrofoil by 30 minutes and decided to see if a room was available after having stayed here about 3 years ago. When we arrived the receptionist provided great service. We managed to get the last available room, a family room. It was very spacious and even provided slippers. We were given a 10% discount at the rooftop restaurant which we used after going out for a walk and a drink. The food was excellent, saganaki king prawns and grilled sea bream were very good. The rooms are small but comfortable 4. The breakfast spread is very good. 5. The gentleman at the reception at night duty was very good but the same cannot be said for the lady at the day time

We used this hotel last year because it is so close to the port and you can get breakfast from 05.30 which is a bonus when you are on the early ferries. The rooms are clean and comfortable the shower is small but for 1 night it does not matter The breakfast is very good value and fresh. Will use this hotel again when visiting the islands.

We stayed here rather than Athens so we could have easy access to the coast but still be able to get into Athens to see the fantastic sights there. The room we had was very clean and comfortable overlooking the road. Access from the airport is very easy by public bus 6? each. Staff were very knowledgeable about tourist stuff and helpful in all respects. I would definitely stay here again.

I didn't stay in this hotel because if was more than twice the cost in high season of the charming Lilia Hotel, where I stayed for a week. But I met a friend at the restaurant - and kept coming back! It was outstanding! The menu was very creative - I had grilled sardines wrapped in grape leaves, something in all my times in Greece I'd never seen. The other choices I had were all excellent. I ate there three times in one week. And the view, up on the fifth floor, is absolutely the best in Piraeus... Read more

I picked this hotel because of its proximity to the cruise port and Tripadvisor reviews. I booked 2 triple rooms for our family of 6. Arrived late at night as we took bus from the airport. Hotel in a side street but we found it easily because of detailed directions we got from staff, who answered my numerous emails promptly. Upon check in, we were offered a free upgrade in one room. Said room came with a king sized bed and bunk beds, a good sized modern washroom, a work desk with PC, and disposa... Read more

My friend and I stayed here the night prior to our cruise. The package included an airport pickup and even though our flight was late the taxi driver was patiently waiting for us. When we arrived at hotel our checkin was easy and staff were friendly. Our room was very clean and beds were extremely comfortable which was appreciated after a flight from Australia. Our included dinner was amazing and breakfast was also fantastic. We didn't use the inxluded port drop off but our suitcases were sto... Read more

Very close to port, very friendly and helpful check-in, great restaurant and easy to find. My friend and I had a very easy and quick check in. There is a lift and the room was clean, big enough for two and nice amenities including toiletries and slippers. The meal in the restaurant was excellent and the service was great! Very reasonable prices.

We stay here every year and are never disappointed. The staff are welcoming, warm and friendly and nothing is too much. The rooms are clean and comfortable with 24hr room service and we have always had a balcony in the rooms we have stayed. The roof top bar and restaurant is open from 12pm to 1am and is beautiful with lovely views across Athens. The food is great too. You can access coffee, tea and water 24 hrs from down in Reception. Reception also allowed us to keep our room until 3pm at n... Read more

We stayed here because it was walking distance to the ferry and we had an early morning ferry to catch. It's about a 10 to 15 minute walk from the metro, so be aware of that if you are walking, which we were with two wheeled suitcases. We managed without difficulty. There are no signs guiding you to the hotel, so make sure you know where you are going as it is easy to miss if you're just peering down side streets. Again, we had mapped out our journey, so we arrived without difficulty. When we en... Read more

I booked an executive suite at the Piraeus hotel as it looked spacious and roomy on their internet page. The reality however was very different. The room whilst clean and tidy was not what I was expecting at all. The mini bar was locked. There was a kettle and cups but no coffee, tea etc. The bathroom was in great need of repair and their were lightbulbs that needed replacing in the room. As we were only staying for one night, we decided to get on with it and make the most of our day in Pir... Read more

We stayed at this hotel because it was close to the Seajets terminal. Our ship left at 7 AM and we wanted to be within easy walking distance. With bags it might have taken us 10 minutes at a leisurely pace to reach the boat ramp. The room had a double bed with a bunk bed, air-conditioning, fridge and free Wi-Fi. The room appeared to be recently renovated as it was in excellent shape. There is a surcharge for breakfast however, this was one of the best breakfasts offered by any hotel during our t... Read more

Location v good for ferries, but difficult to find. Booking.com map uninformative. Got upgraded into an executive suite but the reality however was different. The fridge/bar was locked. Space and fittings very adequate, but not worth 94 euros. Service good, rooftop restaurant a bonus, at very reasonable prices.

No lift to our room 118 but we had help on arrival with our cases. ( not on departure tho but then I didn't ask for help ). Our room overlooked another window of an adjacent building with no view and so had to keep curtains closed. However, the gem of this hotel apart from the modern rooms was the... Read more
