We had booked the sea view suite (350EUR per night) of what was advertised as a luxury 4 star boutique hotel. When I saw the so called suite I thought I was having a bad dream! The room would hardly be classified as 2 star and was nothing like the advertisements photos shown on the web site. We refused to stay in there and ended up changing a room per day for the following three days. The second room was newer but the bathroom had no window nor ventilation, the third room was very small and loo... Read more

I stayed at the Anamar for a week. I had a lovely stay, although the hotel is small and a little far away from the town it is exceptionally authentic with its white cave rooms and blue shutters. It was all very Greek! The staff at the Anamar are absolutely amazing. They are completely friendly and absolutely doting and will do anything they can to help you. Top marks for them. The pool is beautiful, but small; but there is a beach a 5 minutes down the road. If you're expecting luxury 5 star..... Read more

Let me just start with complimenting the photographer of the premises. He has done an outstanding job and the hotel looks very nice on the various websites. Unfortunately in reality it is not that nice and the rooms are a bit worn and in need of some maintenance. The hotel is isolated and there is not much in the neighbourhood. You'll need some wheels to get around even for a supermarket. Prices in de restaurant are steep especially for drinks. The personnel is very friendly and does their bes ... Read more

My sister and I stay in this beautiful hotel in September 2015. Our experience here was fantastic since we arrived: the staff in reception, in the restaurant, the owner were all polite and very friendly, willing to help in everything. The food was really nice, better that many restaurants we visited during our stay! The room was small, but really pretty and well equipped. The view exceptional and the location really quiet and safe ( we used to come back to the hotel walking from the bus stop w... Read more

Stayed in Anamar Boutique Hotel between 29th-6th October. Weather was better than we expected. 23/24 degrees and sunny ! Hotel itself is absolutely lovely. I would not rate it a 4 star hotel, but it has everything you need and it is spotless clean. Our room (no.7) has been cleaned daily, towels and sheets have been replaced every time and floors cleaned and mopped. Breakfast was absolutely amazing! All freshly cooked, homemade and you could eat all you want. From scrambled eggs, bacon to Gree... Read more

This hotel is in a lovely rural spot, you can see sheep and goats in the fields nearby. Our room was spacious and kept very clean however the bathroom was very basic, it was small and had only a hand held shower, to compensate the water was piping hot and had great pressure. I think the hotel has relatively new owners so there are still a lot of improvements to do but its very quaint and we had a lovely holiday there. The staff were all great especially Dennis ( bar) and Kosta ( manager) who wer... Read more

The best thing about the Terra Maltese is that the staff are so accommodating, and are keen to make your stay a good one. We arrived late, hungry and jaded at about 10 pm - the restaurant had stopped serving, but they instantly made us some good food, which we ate on the terrace listening to the sounds of nature. Excellent. A few pointers: - the hotel describes itself as a "natural retreat". You come here to relax - you are surrounded by nature and wildlife, and can walk down to the (ni... Read more

I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights during a solo trip to the island, the best thing about the hotel is that the staff were amazing - all of them were so welcoming and friendly which made the stay perfect! The room was simple and clean with a lovely view of the nearby Ftelia beach. Wi-fi was available with signal at its best at the reception/bar/pool area, it was limited in the rooms (I stayed in room 22 and couldn't get wi-fi in the room but could outside of it) - it wasn't an issue for me. We decided on a whim to extend our holiday, after 11 nights at a 5* hotel in Santorini. Jumped on a ferry to Mykonos and booked this hotel on booking.com The photos on the website are somewhat misleading. We booked a sea view suite. What we got were 2 single beds pushed together, a rickety old wardrobe with a handful of bent hangers and a bathroom with a shower curtain. The room wasn't very clean at all. No hairdryer - the website says there is. Sporadic wifi.Cute pool area and pool. However, th... Read more

Terra Maltese is a remote place. It is far from the centre and therefore car/motorbike is necessary to go to shops, super market, restaurants and town. There is no life in this area. Before our arrival we called the reception to ask if they can provide a lift service from the airport to the resort. They confirmed that the service is available but they mentioned nothing about charges. On our arrival there they were waiting us with a receipt expecting payment!. Every morning in the breakfast loung... Read more

I stayed in this resort for 2 days in august. What I found that hotel is in remote location and hotel doesn't provide basic facility which one expects upon checking in. There was no drinking water available in the room and after asking the same was provided with 2.5 ‚?¨ for 1 Lt, which is not at all acceptable. Moreover upon checking in I was told to wait for 1 hour as room was not ready. Although the staff seems to be polite and nice but basic hospitality was not there like intercom to receptio... I booked a room after saw the photos in booking.com and the official website. Unfortunetely fake fotos and not even close to the room they gave us. 200 euros for a room that had to be 80 euros maximum. So dissapointment!! A very basic room, dirty sheets, smelly bathroom, no hot water and ofcourse no tv channels at all! Breakfast is just a joke and for 5 days no one changed sheets. The only good point is Kostas and Dennys at the reception and bar. Excellent people and helpful! 4 stars?? Seriously... Read more

This hotel is very close to the Ftelia Beach (10 minutes walk) which is very nice and cosy. Hotel is 3-4 km far from city center. You had better rent a car for your transport between your hotel, beaches, restaurants etc. Terra Maltese is a beautifully designed hotel which owns Cycladic architecture features. It's like a holiday site in which rooms have their own areas. Our room was so close to the lobby, we didn't have any wireless problem. But they already have 5 modems in lobby. There is a swi...
