Absolutely fantastic place to stay! Modern interior with comfortable and clean rooms. Great place to relax for a few days with a private beach. Friendly service, good breakfast but absolutely amazing lunch and dinner at Buddha Bar. Free shuttle service into town is offered regularly.

My family and I were traveling in Greece last week and while we were on Santorini, our daughter had a health emergency that forced us to be air flighted to Crete-- the nearest island with a hospital. After her hospitalization, the doctor told us not to travel to Mykonos next (the next place we were scheduled to go) because there was no hospital on the island. Despite a doctor note and that fact that we are Starwood Platinum members, the Santa Marina would not allow us to cancel our reservation... Read more

I had a great time during my stay in Mykonos and a big part of it was being able to stay at a hotel that made my trip to Mykonos hassle free and enjoyable. The rooms were comfortable with everything you would expect in a modern hotel as well as having a fantastic beach and many hotel amenities. The food was very tasty as well. The best part of the experience for me was how helpful the staff of the hotel were from booking to checking out, everything was easy and it was always nice to be greete... Read more

My girlfriend and I stayed at Santa Marina for 5 days! The hotel was amazing! Super-friendly and helpful staff, the rooms were luxurious, fresh, and relaxing. The breakfast was too good to be true, rich, and fresh. The hotel location was also very convenient, away from the noisy areas of Hora but still close to the city and to a marvellous beach! We would strongly recommend the place to those who wish to have a wonderful Summer break in Mykonos!

the hotel is great to go with kids for the facts that it offers an amazing private beach, lots of swimming pools and it is not located in the busy town of Mykonos. The food is amazing and the manager, Mr. Zorbas was very kind, helpful and available

Minutes away from the town, Santa Marina is the best hotel in Mykonos. We have been going Mykonos for years now but this one was the best so far. With its own private beach, best view of the island, exquisite dining experience, beautiful and spacious property which you cant find many at the island yet none has it all together as far as we have experienced. The staff was very experienced and friendly which made our stay exceptional. Definitely going back soon!

Villa horizon. Is one of the most special views in the world. The villa is gorgeous. It's built into the mountain absolutely gorgeous. Service was great after we complained of lack of it earlier. We had parties Friends over. This is a hotel as well. There are regular rooms as well. It's Perfect for families or 5-6 couples looking to get away. Food is unbelievable. Everyone I must stress this. Do not ever use the water there in your bodies. Very bad you will get sick. Stick to bottles and no ic... Read more

We stayed here back in May 2016. It was right before the season kicked in so it was still quiet. The property is pretty and has a good location. However, I do not think it's worth the price. We stayed with SPG points. I would never pay to stay here. We had two bad experiences with the dining options. One was at the Buddha Bar (wihci is not owned by the hotel). We asked for ask coffees and asked if they had decaf which the server said yes. I have a bad reaction to decaf and about an hour later,... Read more

My partner and I staid in this hotel for 3 days in June 2016. It was our first time in Mykonos and our experience couldn't start better than by discovering our new villa at its most emblematic hotel: the Santa Marina Resort. Santa Marina Resort is the most famous and emblematic of all the 5 stars accommodations in the island. Need a proof? Ask to the locals. They will tell you it's the "very best" (believe me I asked). The reason? From being the first 5 stars in the island and pioneering the l... Read more

If you are looking for typical Mykonos style, privacy, simple luxury, high quality service, amazing breakfast, good sleep, proximity to town, away from crowds and noise etc...this is the place. Since 1997 i have been staying at this hotel with my wife several times. All rooms are clean, good and different. The view is astonishing. our home in Mykonos

Although the view is beautiful the restaurant and the music is NOT worth it !!!! Starting from the simplest things such as napkins which were dump from humidity to the music of 70s-80s... The whole concept is overpriced !!! People here fail to understand that because one can afford that doesn't mean that one does not want one's money worth !!! Specifically: A) -We asked for bread...sorry not available at night... What does this mean for a restaurant???? B) - We asked the Dj for a Greek song ti... Read more

5 star hotel...what a joke. Service poor, management poor. Room service took too long and arrived cold. Rooms ok but had any problem in the bathroom, nothing done about it. First evening we went out when we returned to the room the door had been left open by the maid, rang the front desk about it the reply was is anything missing, told no to be told them there's no problem, no apology what so ever. Bath towels smell of damp, the reason being there kept in a cupboard outside with the dirty mops!!... Read more

My husband and I stayed here for 10 days in June. Very nice luxurious hotel. We stayed in a Deluxe Seaview Room. The view was great. As much as this was a 5 star hotel the service wasn't always 5 star which was a shame. When your paying a lot of money to stay here then you do expect 5 star service but this wasn't always the case. It is very expensive but then this is a luxury hotel so this is what you expect. Breakfast was really lovely and spoiled for choice. We didn't eat in the restaurant but... Read more

This is the place you want to go. Modern rooms. Great privacy. Good service. And best of all- a private beach. With a Buddha Bar overlooking the beach! The grounds were elegant and spacious. Breakfast relaxed and casual and excellent. This hotel has a lawn... Which is very pleasant and unusual in Mykonos. I can recommend Santa Marina.

Santa Marina has always stood for the best that Mykonos hotels had to offer but this year they have raised their efforts to a new level. The property is gorgeous, overlooking Ornos Bay, and it is meticulously maintained. The pools and private beach beckon even the most jaded traveler while the multiple restaurants offer guests dining experiences to suit any mood or taste. The staff is friendly and attentive to even the smallest requests. Truly a superlative experience!

My wife and I were just at the Santa Marina for 2 nights, as our third of four Greek islands SPG property for my honeymoon (Blue Palace in Crete, and Vedema in Santorini). Pros: The hotel is built into a cliff with stunning views and has a beautiful private sand beach. The room we stayed in was great, and there's a complementary shuttle that, when it works, is useful. Cons: the breakfast buffet was mediocre, especially relative to the other Greece Luxury Collection properties. It got the jo... Read more

Even though it was the end of the season, the hotel still looked as though it had just opened. Maintenance is top class. The hotel offers an excellent breakfast and the Budha Bar is a terrific restaurant - you must book as people come from all over the island to eat here. There are a number of different types of rooms - we said no to the first one as the balcony wasn't very private and were given an even better room (with Nespresso machine). The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the village of Orn... Read more

In fact, even one day at Santa Marina is enough to restore your stamina! The atmosphere and aura there is unique. It is so peaceful, beautiful and at the same time it can be dynamic and full of drive in the evening. Buddha Bar and their chef impressed us every time we had lunch or dinner there as well as the DJ. The music that that he played was incredibly well-selected , corresponding the place, the people and surrounding. The view from the upper level rooms is breathtaking! And the harbour i... Read more

Being a fan of "The luxury collection" I had to see with my own eyes this particular hotel. The location is perfect, in Ornos beach. I believe only the luckiest people can stay in this hotel, it's expensive, but it's worth it!
