We arrived at Mykonos very early in the morning (~7am), we had a taxi bring us to the hotel since we didn't know there was a shuttle service available. As we arrvied, we noticed that the receptonist was not there and we had to make our way to Poseidon hotel walking as no one was available. We waked to poseidon and had to wait until 8 am to be brought back to Magas to check in. Room was OK, very basic. Beds are very unconfrtable (felt the springs on my back) WIFI works well. Would recommend this ... Read more

Although we arrived with delayed flight, the gentleman(The Driver) was still waiting for us at the airport. Having a free transfer from airport to hotel to airport was amazing. Just 10minutes drive from airport to Magas Hotel. Breakfast could be better with more varieties. The room and bathroom were small but was not expecting more. The balcony was amazing. The lady at reception -Georgiana - was so kind&helpful with any request or questions. 10minutes walking distance to Mykonos center. Wifi wor... Read more

So Mykonos was the first halt in our Greece trip... well a night at Piraeus doesn't count. We are travellers and were looking for a happy place to park ourselves before we can hit the quaint little island known for its maze of streets. Magas was just right for our kind of travel - no frills, no extras, just neat, clean rooms, friendly front desk woman, helpful people around and really really close to the place you really want to see in Mykonos - Little Venice. From Magas you can literally walk... Read more

We booked a week in Mykonos back in May as the riots in Athens were at their height. I figured it couldn't get worse and we'd get great value. Too true- a week in Magas hotel b&b October 17-24 was £124 for the room, i.e. less than £20 per night- an absolute steal! The room was basic but clean- towels changed daily. A 10 min. walk to the centre and only 5 to where the buses go to Paradise beach. The breakfast was fine- bacon, eggs, cheese pastries, cereal, yoghurt, orange juice, tea, coffee etc. The... Read more

amazing staff, tasty breakfast, nice patio for breakfasts, very good place - near everything, few minutes to the town center, near bike rental and shop. Simple room but you do not need anything else. There is very small shower (but as usual on greek islands)

We booked a couple nights at the Magas Hotel based on reviews and were not disappointed. The hotel provided transfers from and return to the new ferry terminal. the room was basic and clean, and we had a lovely balcony area. An easy 10 minute walk to the old town area and bus depot. Basic breakfast which can be enjoyed both indoors or outside on the lovely terrace area. Very reasonable and competitive prices for area, an use of pool at sister property included if desired. We would not hesi... Read more

We stayed for 4 nights. It was everything you need. Staff were lovely and breakfast was ok. The beds and pillows were quite awful but other than that Magas is great. Only 10 mins to town and a beach and the sister hotel has a pool you can use. Overall not too bad for value.

The hotel is about 12 minutes to the the town of Mykonos, it is not a easy walk of 12 minutes. The road is without pedestrian side walk, and with a uphill. You have to walk by the side that can only allows one people, the cars and motorcycles and ATVs passes through with loud noises and dirt and exhaust, not feeling very safe, especially with children. The room is very basic, the shower is very small and no fixed head, you have to hold it by hand. The toilet area is very small too. The shower is... Read more

Stayed here for my first night of an island hopping trip after flying in to Mykonos. For the price I paid for b & b, pick up from the airport and transfer to the new port the following day it was an absolute bargain. Check in was simple. I had a ground floor room with a large balcony overlooking the patio area. The room was small but brightly furnished. It was clean. There was air con and a tv. Plenty of storage if required. The bathroom was small and typically old fashioned Greek. I was... Read more

We spent 5 days at this hotel. It is run by a very friendly lady. The breakfasts are very good and they often include unusual surprises. For example, on one of the days we had a bougatsa brought directly from Thessaloniki! We enjoyed free A/C and a very fast internet connection. The rooms are OK and cleaned daily. Most of the furniture and the fixtures are still functional but well after their expiry date and the hotel would need a major renovation. A big problem is the location of the hotel... Read more

Good bits Hotel is fine for a couple of day??s stopover, breakfasts are adequate and rooms clean, but bathrooms could do with a revamp. Located a 10 minute walk from the bus station and the bus stopped directly outside. Shuttle bus service to Airport and Harbour was excellent. Not so good bits The outside corridor leading to our room had a broken slab, which I stepped on and injured my foot. The Receptionist stated it was my fault as I wasn??t looking where I was going and no one else had com... Read more
