We stayed here as part of a hotel package. The breakfast didn't have many options and the room was only average. It was quiet enough with a decent location though. I would have liked if it was a bit nicer but it provided the necessities. Drinks at the bar were pretty cheap!

Fantastic hotel. Feels like a boutique hotel with the antique filled breakfast room complete with sea views. Peaceful, beautiful and comfortable. Comments about the people who run this place are unjustified in my opinion. We were made to feel comfortable and when our friend (staying elsewhere) came to hang out at our pool, erm everyday (the pool is beautiful), nothing was said. Oh and I checked out some of the other rooms on the day we left (we had a twin on the lower ground), there are some ama... Read more

Despotiko Hotel is located above the busy Old Port of Mykonos. It is not that easy to locate as the streets are narrow. Luckily our shuttle driver knew the direction and had no problem to find it. It is located on sort of an incline and you need to walk down the slope to get to the main tourist area of the Old Port ~ around a 10 min. walk. Be careful as the streets are narrow and the designated walking path for pedestrians is made for single file. It is a small quaint hotel but the rooms were ... Read more

Really fabulous hotel for the price we paid. Customer service is excellent. Katrina Maria Michael Nikos Helen Demitri and the two barmen and the others are simply great. 10 out 10 to Despo. It was an all inclusive deal. The three meals were nice with a variety of food. The swimming pool was lovely. The staff are very helpful in suggesting tours and what to do.

From the moment we arrived until we checked out, the staff was consistently rude and unhelpful. The two ladies at reception seemed to have only one answer to any question: No! When we went to our room for the first time we found long dark hairs on towels and on bathroom surfaces. The lighting fixtures in the bathroom were hanging loose from the ceiling. Each time we took a shower water leaked out and created a mess on the floor. Worse, the room had a terrible musty smell. We were there three ni... Read more

The check-in started with a pleasant surprise. We had reached the place early. Our check-in was at 2 PM but Tula from the staff ensured that we can get our rooms by 12 noon itself. Located at Chora, very close to the town centre, this is a very convenient place. The walk from the hotel to Chora is just about 5 minutes. The rooms are big and comfortable. The hotel pool is also simply fantastic. This is a hotel I'd highly recommend. Especially for the wonderful staff.

Great service, wonderful location, amazing views. Everything about this hotel was perfect. From the price, which was very reasonable, to the greeting, the room and pretty much everything. Very cute little breakfast and, from some rooms, the best sunset in the island. Highly recommended.

We reached a bit early, were warmly welcomed and allowed an early check in. The rooms were quite ok but the overall property is beautiful. The hotel is close to the windmills, beach and little venice and is a short walk from the town centre as well. The pool is fabulous and the property is maintained well. A recommended stay when in Mykonos.

Great location for a hotel. Less than a 5 minute walk to mykonos town. The hotel serves a nice breakfast every morning. The items are repetitive but I didn't mind because their olives are amazing. The pool is quiet and clean - nice for relaxing away from the crowds.

The hotel is in great location. Right in the city center. The only problem is that there's no private parking for cars so you'll have to pay for parking if you don't find a free spot around. Room is very nice and the swimming pool is great also. Good choice if you don't rent a car

Great little hotel. Clean well maintained rooms. A/C nicely installed. Nice pool. Most all rooms had a patio. Slight uphill walk from bus station. My room had a tub / shower combo which is my preferred bathroom configuration (I enjoy a relaxing soak in my own room). Good breakfast. Alternative to hotel's breakfast is cafe Perfecto at Fabrika bus station. I recommend both. Also there are two quite reasonable laundry drop off places at Fabrika (8-10â?¬ per load wash and dried).

This place was hard for me to review. On the one had this hotel has a great location. You are literally in sight of the city center. The staff was friendly and answered any questions we had without hesitation. The pool was nice and the A/C was fantastic. On the other hand the room was small and the bathroom was difficult to use. The toilet was up against a wall and the shower head stuck out from the side instead of the end which made showering unpleasant. Breakfast buffet was cold items except ... Read more

My boyfriend and I stayed here for three nights. The room itself was a nice size and the beds were fine, but the shower was horrendous! It did not have a proper door or curtain and the floor was soaked every time one of us showered. Luckily we didn't slip and fall, but this is an extreme safety hazard. Also we asked to borrow towels for the beach and we were told to go rent or buy them. I've never in my life been told by a hotel I couldn't borrow a towel. Of course if it was not returned we woul... Very nice hotel, room was clean and well appointed, staff very polite and helpful. Courtyard and pool area had a gorgeous setting. Only possible negative is the hill you have to walk up coming back from town and no sidewalk; not being a native, never quite sure which side to walk on and if you will survive the trip with Greek drivers buzzing by you. Despite that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the balcony, the proximity to Mykonos town, the bus station and a great view from the hotel into town.... Read more
