We had originally booked a triple room bookings.com. The room they gave us was so tiny it was only meant for two people, they just added in another trundle bed. There was literally no room to move ! After talking to the manager she worked out another room for us on the ground floor which had more space and a private terrace area. The accommodation itself was really cute. I loved the Greek charm and characteristics with cobble stones and and white and blue walls. The beach was right out the... Read more

There are so many things to love about this hotel. The staff was incredibly kind and willing to help on anything. The rooms were wonderfully clean and the A/C worked perfectly. The beach was right behind the hotel and they offer free chairs to those staying at the hotel. The breakfast was probably one of the best morning buffets that I have seen served. It is located next to wonderful restaurants, but does have an older scene. This is not a place to go if you want to party. For that you go to Pa... Read more

This hotel is perfect for any occasion. It is clean, right on the beach and all the staff go out of their way to make your stay better. Also, the shower in our room was huge and modern, not like the tiny closet-sized ones you usually find in Greece. It's on a quieter, more family oriented beach, but walking distance from paradise beach and a short taxi/bus ride to town if you want to party. If you go to Mykonos you have to stay here.

Beautiful hotel with lovely and friendly staff who looked after us. Beach view rooms are the ones which have impressed me s lot fantastic beach and view. Kids want to go back. Surely will be there soon. Attached is the view from my room. I would definitely recommend this place for all you beach lovers

This was our second stay at Acrogali. Our first, five or six years ago was obviously memorable enough to bring us back. The courtyard is beautiful, the bathrooms are spacious and clean, and breakfast is substantial (love that they'll make you a cappuccino). One down side... They have no plan for dealing with rowdy guests at night. The last two nights we were there, a group of people were sitting out in the courtyard drinking late, and got really loud around 2am. The hotel receptionist wouldn't e... Read more

This was a beautiful hotel with great concierge service and right on the beach. The staff was very helpful and attentive and everything was beautiful. You're not as close to the main area of Mykonos town, but it's great to be right on the beach!

After nearly 40 years of visiting and enjoying this hotel and the beach at Plati Gialos, I was very disappointed this year. The hotel's wonderful restaurant has been replaced by 4 family rooms and a sports bar. The beach chairs are shabby and packed in so tightly that we wandered down and used the lounge chairs at the Mykonos Palace. The hotel's new owner/manager is targeting a 20-something audience and not the baby boomer market with it's horrible techno "music" and night time noise! They a... Read more

The beach a PG is nice enough, quieter than Paradise and Super Paradise but not as beautiful. The hotel itself has spacious rooms and is kept clean. They also run it quite well and snacks from the bar at good as well. Breakfast is ok but not amazing. They also offer transfers, which are a must if arriving by boat because, as we found out, there are no taxis at the port.

Loved this hotel in Mykonos, mostly because of the friendly staff and location being centered to a beautiful beach. The area has a few great restaurants and it's so convenient to walk to the beach from your hotel room. Beach staff is hospitable and the ocean is absolutely beautiful!

The hotel lobby is right on the beach, so the breakfast area has a very nice open bay view. Our room was nice and comfy, and large for European standards. Cleaning crew is very nice too, working hard and early. The beach were the main feature. There are rows and rows of umbrellas and beach chairs. There are Chinese masseuse walking around in case you need a massage on the beach. The ocean water is crisps and clear, and there are plenty to go around. For the Americans: You might see some women... Read more

I stayed at the Acrogiali with my partner for 2 nights in June 2016. The hotel is located at Platos Gialos, which is about halfway between Mykonos old town and the popular beaches (Paradise/Super Paradise/Elia). The hotel itself is very well appointed, spacious and clean. It looks right onto the beach and has its own beach bed area, although you may need to get in early to get one! Some larger rooms have balconies and views right over the ocean while most look over the hotel's main pathway and... Read more

Loved this hotel! The staff were all super friendly and helpful. They had helpful tips for where to eat, how to get around and things to do. The room was very spacious. We thought we were getting a garden view room, but ended up with a sea view and it was amazing. The breakfast buffet in the morning was great...good selection and eat with a view of the sea. The beach staff was great, and the prices of food and drinks at the beach were very reasonable. If we ever go back again, we would definitel... Read more

Previously stayed here in June 2014, did not check price/availability of other hotels for this visit as we had so enjoyed our previous stay and did not wish to stay anywhere else. The staff are second to none, as is the location, and the whole hotel immaculately clean. However, they have closed the restaurant and replaced with a bar and 5 extra rooms, the consequences are a) as breakfast is taken on the beachside terrace and there is now only one door resulting in "traffic congestion" through th... We had a very relaxing stay in May. This was our 4th stay at the Acrogiali. The two girls on reception Iro and Demetria are so helpful and extremely clever being able to speak in many languages ! The rooms are in the Greek style and very clean. Towels for the beach are available from the hotel . In the morning there's a good selection of both hot and cold food and and its complimentary. Enjoyed a lovely breakfast with a great variety of hot and cold offerings! Generous and very reasonable overall . We left satisfied and did not need lunch that day as we had such a healthy mix of food and fresh fruit . Suited to families and well situated on the edge of the beach with views from every table on the balcony

I like that this hotel is located on the beach, so all you have to do is walk out of your room and you are on the beach in less than a minute. The hotel is a little dated, but it's a great value in comparison to other hotels in Mykonos, not to mention the location is second to none. The buffet is definitely not gourmet but always plenty of food and quality fresh items. The one thing I must say is that the Wifi wasn't great :-(

Hotel is right on the beach. Best part, chairs and umbrella are free for guests, otherwise ‚?¨15 for 2 chairs and an umbrella. There is a call button on the umbrella for service - food was good and not expensive. Breakfast has the BEST greek yogurt in Mykonos. Staff could not be more helpful or friendly. Especially Dimitra. Always willing to help with a smile on her face. Great location. ‚?¨10 taxi to Mykonos city centre. Cant wait to return.

I stayed for 3 days. They provide breakfast, basic continental. This location is very family friendly. The beach access is the best part and it's the best beach to swim. Other southern beaches have very rough sand and rocks. The restaurants in the vacinity are great. There's easy access to other beaches via sea taxi or main town via public bus. Overall a great hotel.

We stayed here for five nights in July and, although the beach did get busy, we had a really relaxing time. The hotel is on the beach and they have enough sun-beds for everyone, which you don't have to pay for if you're a guest. The breakfast has plenty to choose from (cooked, cereal, fruit, yogurt) and the lunches are nice too. The location is great, you can get a boat to other beaches in no time and the bus stop is nearby so you can get to Mykonos town in ten mins (recommend going here for din... Read more

Had a great week long stay at Acrogiali hotel. Perfect location, right next to a bus stop which takes you into Mykonos town. We had one of the suite rooms which over looks the beach, perfect! Private sun loungers on our balcony were great and saved us paying ‚?¨20 for 2 on the beach. The staff are all lovely and extremely helpful. What an excellent hotel on a very nice beach. The amenities are very basic but the hotel is run very well. The staff are very helpful and service is excellent. We stayed for four nights. The breakfast served was more than enough with enough choices as well. The restaurant at the hotel serve good hamburgers, souvlaki and other light meals. For the money we payed for I expected better in everything. We saved for a long time to get the best we can so we can have a better experience. Buffet breakfast was the same every day, dry, plain. The hotel rooms were plain, no clean sheets, just fixing of the sheets, the bare minimum. Our front door can be opened by pushing it. They still haven't fixed yet. Food in surrounding restaurants plain, dry, non impressive. Expensive but not worth it. Won't come again.

Staff willing to go that extra mile and appeared to enjoy their work. The restaurant is really for casual meals, but that was ok as their are plenty of restaurants to eat in the nearby area. Hotel was clean. Location is hard to beat, right on the water. We stayed right on the water and were initially concerned about the noise after reading other reviews. However, all you needed to do if you wanted a siesta, was to closed the doors which are double glazed.....no problem at all.

The hotel is right on the beach with umbrellas free of charge. It's not the place to be for somebody who is looking for more privacy and crystal waters. The design of the rooms is old-fashioned. The location is good, close to the old town, but if you rent a car (you must rent a car because the taxi service almost does not exist) then you must be ready for the very narrow roads. Anyway, it's OK, it's Mykonos!
