I'm one of those people who like to check previous reviews for places before I book so after seeing what others had to say we decided to take a two week stay here from the end of September into October. Best thing about this place have to be the staff they cannot do enough for you, the owner Xristos and his wife Biky are a pleasure as are the bar staff Manos, Dimitri and Agron. We were greeted immediately by Xristos and as we arrived after the all Inc had finished we were given a drink free of ... Read more

On arrival (midnight) to the hotel we were greeted by a very rude member of staff. The family in front of us got separated, the children were sent off to the hotel opposite while the mum stayed on the complex. We were told to cross over the road and follow the path, where we stood in front of what looked like a derelict building and told to walk ourselves to our rooms. The description of the holiday is that there was evening entertainment, wrong! therers was entertainment for one evening, the... Read more

What a lovely atmosphere! And a good spot to catch the sunshine too. The staff were friendly and it's great you don't have to walk far for a drink! And you then have the choice of either snacks from the bar or shop next door! Music in the afternoon was up to date and made it a lovely atmosphere and boy does it get buzzing in the bar towards the evening. Would love to go back!

Very clean family run hotel where the staff are all very friendly.the hotel is a bit remote with not a lot around except 3 or 4 tavernas.the beach is a ten minute walk if you follow the path up the side of the mythos taverna.only complaint I had was with the quality of food there could have been more Greek dishes on the menu and more freshly made dishes instead of powder soup and powder potatoes etc.also they play Greek music all day long and very loud which can get a bit repetitive and boring.w... What a great little complex, you cant fault the staff here at all. Look out for Dora in the dining room and Agra behind the bar, both lovely and very helpful people. Our room was good, with a balcony that unfortunately didn't get any sun. It was very clean and tidy, spacious (apart from the shower room - small with an annoying "love to stick to you" curtain) and the beds comfortable. It was also cleaned thoroughly on a daily basis and towels replaced daily too. There is no entertainment at all a... Read more

This is a lovely place out of the way in a slight rural location. Very chilled out atmosphere. We went all inclusive and the food every day was spot on could not fault it, we had chicken lamb turkey beef kebabs spoilt for choice. Lovely swimming pool its heated slightly so it's not absolutely freezing when you first get in. Room was cleaned wnd sheets changed every day. Very friendly people who run the place. Perfect for couples of all ages not really for kids tho they might get s bit bored.

My hubby & me really enjoyed our holiday in this lovely hotel. We were greeted with a warm welcome by the lovely Teresa in Reception on our arrival. This kind lady went out her way to make sure we had everything we needed on our stay & arranged our excursions that we liked the look of. Our room was cleaned everyday & the complex was always kept looking nice & clean. The food good,a wide range of salads & the meat always cooked to perfection. I wasn't to impressed with the selection of all inc dr... Read more

Me and my partner (19 and 22) have just returned from summer village and must say it was brilliant! All of the staff were absolutely amazing and made sure you felt welcome in this family run hotel. The cocktails were lovely and if you had the cocktail of the day it was only three euros. If you went all inclusive you had the local beer (which my partner loved) and spirits such as Brandy and Ouzo, which unfortunately I was not a fan of. However, in the shop next door they had Koppaburg for 1,80 wh... Read more

Visited summer village hotel at the end of June 2016. the hotel itself was pretty basic, but we didn't pay a lit of money for this holiday, so was well worth the value. The hotel was clean, rooms cleaned daily and facilities always spotless! We particularly liked the pool bar. Staff members Manos and Agron who worked long hours behind the bar were always so friendly, cheerful and helpful; made us feel very welcome! The all inclusive drinks range is very limited, finishes at 22:30, and only inc... Read more

Visited Summer Village for our 2016 summer holiday with my wife. First impressions of the hotel were great, mainly because it was a lot bigger than what we envisioned from pictures we found on the TripAdvisor. Hotel was placed in a very secluded and remote area of Marmari, short walks from some beautiful scenery including beaches, shops and bus stops which took you into Kos Town and Tigaki. Throughout our fortnight stay, we went on 3 excursions including 3 Island boat trip which took you too 3... Read more

Just came back with my 4 friends and a parent, was the best holiday! Rooms are clean every day with fresh towels, the pool is lovely and big and open for long hours of the day. Hotel staff are amazing and always there and happy, as well as staff in the mini market inside the hotel, which is very helpful. Food is average but there is always something you can find, an enjoy. All inclusive drinks are good with the brand, wine, ouzo and soft drinks, which ends at 22:30. One of the best holidays and ... Read more

Just back (this morning) from a week here and can honestly say we had a great time. The hotel is small, well run, spotlessly clean, has great staff, and I'm sure if you've booked or are thinking of booking you won't be left disappointed. It's basic, but that's not a problem, and to be honest it's what we wanted. The rooms are kept clean and well looked after daily... The pool area and gardens are maintained beautifully... And we have to say... The food was surprisingly good! (Excellent at times... Read more

We've just returned from a week at Summer Village as three girls on our first holiday together, after spending a week here we did eventually enjoy, however our first impressions were not good. We arrived on july the 10th at about 10.20pm. The man behind reception insisted that we sit in the lobby so he could show us to our rooms about 20 minutes later. This caused us to miss the all inclusive as it finishes at half 10. We attempted to explain that we had been travelling all day and felt we sh... Read more

I booked this last November, for me partner and four kids 15,13,12,10 in age range. I am a very fair unfussy person, but was worried as it was only after I booked, that I started reading up on this place. DOH! Not on any level was this an all inclusive hotel, not one ice cream or ice lolly or anything inclusive apart from the three meals which were very medium in rating and not a massive range to be fair not terrible. I must mention Greek is my favorite food ever. The two girls in the dinin... Read more

Where do I begin? We arrived earlier than expected as our flight was early which was good, the receptionist let us all go for dinner as all inclusive was nearly finished. However that was the only thing I seen the receptionist smile about. I asked when I could purchase air conditioning, she huffed and said em whenever. So I asked could I give her the 70 euros the now and another huff came after. Felt like just waking away, and getting back on the bus, wasn't a good start to the hotel. All beca... Read more

Myself and my family (6 in total) recently arrived back from Summer Village. All I can say is we all wish we were still there! We all had an amazing holiday and Kos Island is beautiful. If you read the reviews you will know what to expect and can be prepared for the small things that appear to bother people. All of the staff in the hotel are amazing, this is a family run hotel and it shows. They were all very friendly, very welcoming, and accommodating. Lots of smiles all around. My family and I... Apologies for lateness of this post I wanted to detail how brilliant our holiday was its took time. After a late arrival we were greeted by hotel manager Kristos, who showed us to our rooms explained the basics, I enquired about paying for the air-con and was told the rooms stay cool due to lower night temps, first surprise many would have took the money. The rooms were simple but adequate, room service changed and cleaned daily and I heard not one complaint. The TVs only channels in English w... Read more

A few days before our holiday Low Cost Holidays went into liquidation, I contacted Summer Village directly and they were most helpful, our booking was secure and we could pay when we arrived. On arrival, warm smiling staff couldn't do enough for us, although it was late we had free drinks and food from the bar. The hospitality continued throughout our stay, helpful with everything including the few trips we took, 3 island tour is a must as is the sunset in the mountains. My family loved the h... Read more

We really enjoyed our stay at summer village . The room was basic but cleaned daily and beds made daily etc. The pool was large and clean and we never had to fight for a sunbed. The bar staff were great as were the restaurant staff shop staff everyone in fact . On day two I had infected mosquito bites which I always get wherever I go. After going to reception the lovely lady owner and her sister applied cream to them then rang a chemist and then insisted on driving me to a town to see a pharmaci... Read more

Stayed for one week, glad it was no longer . Can't really say it is all inclusive as very limited to food and drink. Quite rural. Nothing nearby.needed more cleaning around the pool as black ants were a problem. Mosquito's a huge problem, rooms were ok basic as is normal for Greece, dirty pants were in the room for our arrival, toilets and floors not cleaned through the week.lovely weather and fab people that we met made the holiday. Wouldn't return.

Truly amazing people from the owners, bar staff, cleaners, gardeners etc. Made some great friends who lived local to us. All in all you get whyat you pay for and we feel like we got alot!

We stayed at Summer Village in June and had a great time! Lots of things to do around the hotel. Marmari beach was a 10 minute walk down the road and Tigaki beach was our favourite beach to go to by bicycle. Food was very good and different each day.. lots of fresh salads and traditional Greek dishes. Cocktails weren't free but there was always a Cocktail of the day d... Read more
