This was my second stay at this lovely hotel within a few months and i can assure you that it is still a very good choice when staying in this lovely and upmarket area called Kifisia! Upon arrival to the hotel everything went very smoothly, the room that we were given was excellent and according to our requests which were fully respected by the hotel, the staff at the restaurant and the reception were very polite and generally we had a very nice time! Will definitely keep this hotel in mind for ... Read more

Location is great to stroll at the shadowed green streets, hearing birds all day, this oasis is by difinition a great place to stay, far from hextic Athens, especially when you have a 10 min walk and you reach the Metro train station, and in 30 min you are in Acropolis, or anywh... Dated rooms. Shower flooded bath as was not enclosed. Phone was broken on arrival. No iron. TV did not work. AC was hot. Bed sagged from overuse. I don't suggest you stay here unless really very tolerant person. On the other hand, the staff were nice.

Not the newest or flashiest hotel, but the rooms are decent, beds comfy, the service friendly, the neighbourhood affluent (good places to eat), and reliable wifi. I've stayed three times for work, and no issues at all.

The hotel is in a central location to offices and in a very quiet, luxurious neighborhood. Surrounded by all restaurants and shops. It has a very nice pool and the front desk was so helpful. The room service is quick and clean. Breakfast was okay but not impressive. It has smoking rooms which is fantastic.

We have been traveling to Athens to visit family for a few years and staying at the Oxenia Palace Hotel & House in Kifissia, North Athens. This is delightful hotel made of a small traditional hotel and a nearby house with a few elegant and private suites. It is a vey nice, elegant and modern place. Not ideally located for those that want to tour central Athens but, if you have car, they offer free parking and you can reach the motorway easily. First , Kifisia is a very quite and friendly neighborhood . And very green . The hotel match perfect . Elegant , quiet , very clean. Close by goods restaurants , it is few meters by a lot of elegant shops and vis a vis it is a nice park . The rooms are good , the pool is great . The only to things it need improvements are the breakfast , poor , and the gym , also very poor . Add an excellent staff and you will have a very pleasant stay .

Situated in one of my favourite areas of Athens, this is lovely old style Hotel that is well maintained and very friendly. I only stayed for a few hours but would not have minded staying a few days. If you are looking for a city break, this is great option. The surrounding area is fascinating, lively dynamic and very Greek

I recently spent 8 days at this clean, classic, and serene hotel in Kifisia, a suburb of Athens. The property is located in northern Athens in a nice, tree-lined neighborhood, near excellent restaurants and shops. Downtown Athens is a mere 30 minutes away by train (an easy 15 minute walk to the train station for 1.4 Euro each way) and about 25 minutes by taxi (15 - 25 Euro each way depending upon time of day/night). The entire staff is fantastic: hospitable, knowledgeable, attentive, and ver... Read more

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for two separate parts of our trip to Greece. We enjoyed it the first time. Unfortunately, the second stay ended on a bad note. On our final morning, 20 minutes before checking out, I went to get coffee in the morning. When I came back, the bellhop followed me into the elevator. In front of ANOTHER HOTEL GUEST, I was told that outside food and beverage were not welcome in the hotel. I was told that the owner was there and he would be very unhappy if he saw me c... Read more

Grand entrance yet not imposing, warm friendly welcome from all staff. Lovely relaxing pool area, very clean rooms and attentive waiters at breakfast and concierge to help with bags. Thank you Nikos and Baris! This wasn't my first stay at Theoxenia Palace and it certainly won't be my last. Practically perfect in every way. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Very welcoming staff and located in the midst of an upmarket part of the city with shops and restaurants 5 minutes in all directions. I booked this hotel after reading great reviews on Trip Advisor. This is certainly not a 5* hotel. The term ' Has seen better days' is probably most appropriate for this hotel. I am assuming because of the financial crisis in Greece that was the reason for so few staff and slow service. The restaurant and bar lacked any atmosphere or energy. Buffet breakfast was just about acceptable but still not great. We had a lovely room on 3rd floor. The hairdryer didn't work, two of the bedroom lamps didn... Read more

A nice walk to the train and a 30 min ride to the center of Athens. Spent a day in the center and saw the museum of Acropolis. Parking was not difficult with the help of the staff. Although on the outskirts of Athens this is a fantastic hotel to base yourself at whilst staying in Athens. The front desk and all staff couldn't have been more helpful and the rooms were bright, clean and very spacious with big bathroom. The restaurant has a nice balcony that you can sit out on and the breakfast served was excellent and varied for all tastes.

This was our family's third stay at this wonderful hotel. It has all the comforts you'd want in a hotel (great shower, good bed, powerful air conditioning, clean swimming pool, large rooms, delicious breakfast buffet), but what makes it truly stand out is the service. The first thing that I will highlight is that the staff were extremely friendly from start to finish and always did their best to accommodate you. They even got me a private taxi at regular rates when there was a taxi strike on on the days I was there! Relatively large rooms, very clean, with everything functioning properly in the room. I stayed 2 nights before my flight back to Canada. I was pleasantly surprised by the location. Great little park right out front and many restaurants to choose from within a 2 minute walk. The staff at Theoxenia were friendly and helpful. Bathrooms were modern, bedrooms were okay, but could do with a bit of an update to match the decor of the bathrooms. Hotel was in a good location, 10 minute walk from a variety of restaurants, cafes and shopping boutiques. And approx. 15 mins walk from the tramline. I would recommend the hotel to friends and family. Overall, an enjoyable stay.

Tv had a box with netflix and others on it, a nice extra. The prices for drinks and food around the pool are ludicrous, i could pop outside directly into a bar or tgis and get a beer or cocktail FAR cheaper then when finished pop back in. I disagree to this hotel given 5 Stars. The way the rooms and bathrooms are, I would just rate this as 3 stars hotel. The location of the hotel is great, but once at the hotel, no way would you expect your eyes to see the hotel like this. Then you enter the room, and you be like, What the hell....
