This is a dated old style hotel which is located in the down town area. I would say that the hotel is not 4 star material but the rooms are clean and large. It also has a nice view of the city from the rooms. We found lots of families staying here. The breakfast is large and has lots of options. Its a bit chaotic so do go early to grab a good place if possible. Wifi is provided only in the reception area. The location is very good and quite near the Syntagma Square. It definitely is a hotel for large groups and I wouldn't have booked it if I wasn't with a large group (80p). In general the hotel needs redecoration and is maybe max 3 stars value, not 4. Beds are very small 1,60m is a double bed. Plus: * location is ok, not in the city center however quite central for the subway. This is a 10 minute walk but ok for us. In a time when low cost airlines are giving free Wi-Fi connection hotel President charges 12? per 24hrs connection in the room. A supposed 4 star hotel should offer it for free. We stayed at this hotel in Athens after it was recommended to us by our daughters who stayed here on a few occasions as they were travelling through Europe. we were placed on the 18th floor of this 20 storey hotel & had fantastic views of the city during the day & in the evening. There are not many tall buildings in Athens & this is certainly a great hotel to stay at for the views alone. Our room was comfortable & spacious, also very clean. We checked in at reception & were immediately made to f... Read more

This hotel is conveniently located, 5min walk to two metro stations (Panormou and Ambelokipi). The service at the lobby desk is OK and mostly fast; and if you notify in advance your arrival time they will check you in. The room is spacious, with comfortable bed and good bathroom and toiletries. Good views as well, if you are located in one of the top floors. Got some plain pasta with butter for my 2 year old daughter and when the bill came it wrote pasta bolognese ( meat sauce) when I asked the lovely waitress if it was a mistake she put her head down and said " ... The hotel is located on a very big road and is two miles away from the central area of Athens. It is an impersonal hotel with Soviet style decor and aspect and it offers smoking and non smoking rooms. As you can imagine, this means you smell smoke everywhere!! First night - we felt cramped in a dreary room with two beds pushed together and barel... Read more
