To stay in Exarchia is special, since here one is in the middle of an anarchic quarter, where police only enters in extreme cases, but is plentyful on its edges. One finds wierd people, but also intellectuals and artists, also many students from the nearby Polytechnicum. All over there are graffiti, many with anti-capitalist slogans. But it is also an area with some excellent taverns on pedestrianised streets and up towards Strefi hill is one of the best street markets in Athens - every Saturday... Read more

Pros: Lots of good restaurants and bars in the area. Cons: Room was basic enough, beds are hard and bathroom pretty small. Staff at reception were not very welcoming and nothing in the way of maps or guides about the area.

Pro: Location: close to the Omonia metro station and the Museum of Archeology. Very friendly and helpful staff Comfortable bed Clean room (daily cleaning) Shoes and toothbrush with toothpaste AC Cons: Small room (2 pers) and small bathroom Very noisy, in the vicinity there are a lot of bars and restaurants TV didn't work (didn't actually used it, but I told the staff it's not working and they still didn't fix it) Decent breakfast buffet, but with the same products every day The hotel is 3* rat... Clean, central, calm despite the loud neighborhood. Sociable owner (Cypriot talkie guy!) and really helpful. In Exarcheia, where day never comes! Close to nice restaurants, bars, cinemas, theaters. It's your hotel, mate,

I love visiting Athens, and this is my second time to this hotel. We had a great view from the sixth floor, although go onto the roof garden and you see even better views. The room is cleaned daily and the breakfast is a buffet and it is a nice little feed. Well worth the money and not far from Omonia metro.

Stayed here with a friend for two days. Simple hotel with clean facilities, air conditioning and close to popular areas and good food. Staff were very helpful with directions and places to see/eat. Happily stay here again.

We stayed one night here so we could visit some of Athens on our way to Rhodes. It was good for the purpose with clean rooms and very friendly staff. Nearby are lots of good places to eat tasty Greek food at nice prices. The downside was noise from a bar on a nearby roof terrace that played loud music until after 3am. Perhaps it is just on Friday nights that this happens, but I wouldn't risk it again unless I was sure. I doubt being on the other side of the hotel would help much.

The room was a decent size with aircon and tv, was also very clean and tidy and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is only ten minutes walk from Omonia square and located in a funky nighttime area with bars and cafes all around. There were some minor problems with the amenities that could be easily fixed. The shower head holder was looses and kept falling out and the shower curtain rail was also loose at the wall and kept bending out.

This hotel is situated in a very run down neighbourhood but it's good enough inside if you want to rest your head and get a good night's sleep. The air con is good, bed comfy enough and it's a 10 minute walk to the nearest metro station (Panepistimios). The breakfast leaves a lot to be desired, but perhaps that's me being fussy about continental breakfasts. A small selection of bread, ham, cheese and cereal - not a great deal else. Staff were helpful and tried their best to help me when they... Read more

This isn't a five star hotel by any means, it's pretty standard, but it's cozy, reasonably priced, and in a great location. Our room was on the 3rd floor (actually the fifth level), unfortunately there was a lot of noise from the square just outside. Our balcony gave us a great view of the square and the beds were quite comfortable. Everything we wanted to see in athens s was within walking distance and the food in this part of town is much less expensive.
