Was there last week for a conference. Large room, absolute silence, comfortable bed and pillows, kettle and free coffees, excellent buffet for lunch and fine dinner, large outdoor pool with lifeguard were among the pros. One would not have anything against if it weren't for the extremely high rates (even for conference group rates), charging the internet in the rooms (wi-fi is free in the public areas though) and the unprofessional cancelling of a hair appointment with a suggestion to go earlier... This is a lovely hotel with spacious, comfortable rooms and an excellent rooftop bar. We arrived in the evening, headed to the bar, had excellent drinks while viewing the lights of the Acropolis. We needed two beds and it was a nice change not to have the beds shoved together to create floor space. We appreciated the in-room coffee and tea and the luxurious bathroom. The staff at most Hilton's are well trained and provide excellent service. Athens was no exception.

The service was very slow on each of the 4 nights we were there wiht the IBA and indeed on our fourth ( and last) night we ordered one beer and one wine We waited for 15 minutes and saw the 2 drinks on the bar.... but they didn't arrive at our table On our second last nigh... I was in the Hilton for a conference for 3 nights. the bad points:It already started that the key card for the room did not work after check in. The following days it stopped working another 5 times during my stay. The wifi was out every afternoon. The good point were the friendly staff, but overall the Hotel felt old and tired. No value for money as a business Hotel.

The staff was outstanding and very attentive. As a Diamond member, I took advantage of their terrific executive lounge to take breaks, have breakfast, and light dinner. We celebrated our anniversary and they had heart-shaped rose petals arrangement on the bed. Slippers and robes in the bathroom, etc. These guys thought of everything. This hotel was better than the Conrad we stayed at in London just a few day prior. When I had minor problems with the curtains, they came within 10 minutes to... Read more

OK, but not great. Nice location for access to the metro, but the overall service is not up to par for the price. Do not pay extra for a room with a view of the Acropolis as there is a crane obstructing it, but that is not noted when your booking a room.

This hotel was probably the nicest hilton I have stayed in!! Ill start from the beginning. We got there at 2:00 am in the night and they gave us fresh squeezed orange juice. Then in the morning I went into the hotel lounge and they had an amazing breakfast with fresh squeezed juices, croissants, fruits, toast, and many other yummy things. Had two nights pre cruise. Good Hilton standards excellent large outside pool and sunbathing area. Access to the executive lounge very worth the extra cost. Evening drinks and substantial snacks served from 6 to 8 pm, outside those hours soft drinks, cake, fruit etc. Great views towards the port and Parthenon (large crane being removed soon we are promised!) lounge very busy with children but not much control from accompanying adults! Whilst the rooms were clean and updated, the Hilton in Athens doesn't provide you with any clue that you're in Greece (unless you're lucky enough to score a room with a view of the Parthenon). The disappointing parts were the almost ‚?¨13 daily charge for wifi (try and get it waived by the front desk staff) and the not so helpful staff when asked for directions to the nearest restaurants and cafes. The hotel pool looked promising but was very busy and staff were scarce. Typical hotel price... Read more

Nice place, expensive food and parking (can park down the street for 10-15 euro) great room, nice pool, off metro, nice staff but they really need to have better recommendations on sights and food (they recommended a place that cost us 200 euro and we had pasta and burgers). But there was phenomenonal place around corner for only 60 euro for 5 people.

Family of 6 with two rooms who very much enjoyed this hotel. Great staff and location is close enough to get into the sights of Athens. Rooftop bar view is amazing!! I would recommend this hotel for family or business. The breakfast they put out each morning has everything you could want. The pool/sauna area has all the equipment you need and is great for a relaxing swim after a long day in Athens.

Very nice hotel! Great location to many restaurants and bars. A :15 min taxi to Acropolis/Parthenon ( :30 min taxi to the airport). We enjoyed the pool/gym, then went dining at a nice sit down greek restaurant for dinner( :5 min walk from the hotel, very inexpensive). The hotel is located away from the crowds and high prices!! Enjoy!

Fantastic experience at the Hilton. The staff were more than helpful, the executive lounge is a must if you have kids. The pool is great and the room had a fantastic view. We found it very easy to get to many of the tourist sites from the hotel.

Hilton Athens is top notch. We had a 2-night stay and could not have been happier. It is a very upscale Hilton similar to the top European Hiltons. Had a very nice room, spacious and comfy. Lovely and super professional staff. Great breakfast too. Finally, location is very good, quite central.

As club members we have stayed at Hilton all over the world and this was our worse experience. We had booked two double room for five adults. The room for three did not come with beds for all of us. We tried to negotiate to get a bigger room (even willing to pay) but got the message that all rooms looked the same (except the executive ones). They rolled out the sofa and replaced it with an extra bed on wheels. This one was too short and had to be replaced. The service desk staff was not accomoda... Read more

I met up in Athens with family traveling from around the United States. It cost 38Euros via taxi from the airport and is really easy to get to. At the Hilton, the bellhops are so friendly and go out of their way to make sure you get in a taxi with a driver they know and trust (they actually wouldn't allow us into a taxi because they didn't know the driver). The beds were very comfortable, the room was clean, wifi worked great, the hotel staff was helpful ... There's a large swimming pool with... Read more

Certainly is a very good option to stay in the summer for its great pool. Apart from that it is a rather impersonal hotel with unhelpful staff, which surprised me for a Hilton Hotel. Room very large with all the services, and full of amenities in the bathroom. Not worth the up room with views of the Acropolis as the soundproofing is not very good and the streets have a lot of traffic noise. Complete american breakfast, but in a country of Oranges is too bad do not offer the natural juice. Restau... Read more

Such great dedication makes us feel proud to be a member of the Hilton family. Also, the staff at the Executive lounge are also very nice. Stay here when you in Athen. You will not Regret!

We were a little apprehensive looking at the exterior of the building however looks are definitely deceiving! Beautiful hotel, bright, clean and modern. Best breakfast I've ever had in a hotel, so much to choose from. Not the greatest location if you plan on walking to city center but close to metro and it is fairly easy to navigate. Amazing views from rooftop bar/restaurant.

This hotel is easily located for business or tourism. It's near a Metro stop. Our cruise ship tour chose this for us, and it is clean, bright and attractive. Our room had a balcony, full shower and bath with shower spray. There's a huge TV that we didn't use. We had only breakfast buffet -- which had Greek delicacies plus an omelet station as well as fresh fruit juices, eggs and items you'd expect to find for an "English" breakfast, minus the beans. We didn't try any of the multiple in-house... Read more

Everything about this hotel was excellent. Being a part of the Hilton Honors family, you come to expect the best almost every time you stay at a Hilton location. Hilton-Athens doesn't disappoint. They have both and indoor and an outdoor pool, nice fitness facilities, ad a restaurant and bar on the top floor that offers nice views of the area and Acropolis One tip for my fellow swimmers out there! This is one of our favorite hotels in Athens. Not because it is a Hilton but because it has consistently through the years delivered good service. Great restaurants, very convenient location. Large rooms, even the standard ones. Only drawback is that often it houses conferences and business meetings so it can be very crowded at times in the lobby. The views of Athens from the roof top bar are amazing!

My general impression on the Athens Hilton wasn't the best, especially from the standards one would expect from Hilton. Having said that it is hard for a brand like Hilton to maintain the same service in every country because at the end of the day each country is different and its ethics and people are different. In Athens I found some of the staff quite arrogant. After making a complaint to the management, the Director of Operations took on board my complaint and went all out to ensure i had a... Read more

Although we were there before check in, the staff at reception did their best to find us a room that was available.
