Great check in process and quick. Asked for my choice room and bed type which was surprising as sometimes through booking on Travelocity I am stuck with whatever they like....Lobby is clean and refreshing. Has a coffee and restaurant that is open fairly late hours which is great. With hotel stay also came free breakfast which was buffet style, with lots of variety for a free breakfast including precooked eggs, cereals, bread and fruits and salads. Wifi works well and its free for basic..you ... Read more

The rooms are dated, even though they have tried to make some renevations. Also the noises rom the next room were very well noticeable. Rooms was still ok, had a nice balcony to the courtyard. Special thanks to complimentary water bottle and good staff service. The breakfast was good, with lost of varieties to use.

Decent hotel, down town, decent breakfast food with horendous filter coffee, serving personel with serious problems comunicating in English. The room was smelly, probably because of a fluding or something else. Nevertheless it doesn't excuse the hotel in giving it to us with a wet smelly carpet.

Very old hotel with very small rooms and elevators. Its not that good a location because you would still need to depend on public transportation to move around. Knowing greeks and their tendency to strike, you will need to rely on taxis alot. Also this area is dead on the weekends so you have to either eat at the hotel or go to the touristy areas. That said, the hotel does have very good customer service so kudos to that.

I have stayed 3 nights and still have another 2 to go at the end of a Cosmos tour. This hotel was one of the better places I have stayed whilst touring Europe over 6 weeks. It is a lovely welcoming hotel. The staff are friendly and rooms etc clean and comfortable and the free breakfast is wonderful. It is in a great location in my opinion. It isnt a long walk downtown but if you dont want to the metro is very close by. I would be happy to recommend this hotel for a stay in Athens.

Located about a 2 minute walk from the metro station, i received a very warm and checked in very quickly. The room itself was basic and slightly dated but had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The bathroom and the bedroom was cleaned every day to a high standard. The breakfast had everything you needed to fill up for the day but selection was the same. That suited me fine. I didn't eat in the restaurant for dinner as i always ate out so cant comment on that. I would definately stay here ... Read more

+ the hotel is not far from metro stop-good connection to the historical Centre + restaurant in the hotel serves very tasty food for reasonable price, the staff at the restaurant is kind + breakfast selection wide -for a 4* hotel I would expect a cleaner bathroom (especially the walls and bath) -although the common areas look quite modern the rooms are not -the area around is a bit creepy especially at night

We rented a room for 3 since our adult son was traveling with us. The bed they had for him was not adequate for an 8 year old, much less an adult. When we asked for compensation, we were told there was nothing that they could do. My son had to rent a private room and we received nothing. The air conditioning did not work well at all, even after being 'adjusted' by maintenance. The breakfast was totally hohum.

I stayed for just one night, so do not have much to review. Stuff was friendly, rooms were clean, beds comfortable. Breakfast was simple, and tasty, but some could expect more from a four star hotel. I was quite satisfied. A bit annoying was wi-fi situation - on your room key you get a instructions how to connect, but those are not right. For anyone who wants to make this hotel a base to go out and explore Athens this hotel is excellent. It is not luxurious but it is comfortable and very very very clean!! The breakfast is excellent. The staff are approachable and welcoming. It's reception is very light and airy, bar prices are very reasonable. It's also very close to the metro station which is handy for sightseeing. The only negative is that the room and bathroom is small, with small balcony.

Very presentable hotel and a great street. Good location just heading out of the city centre. Great museums within walking distance. Friendly staff. The only downer was when I fell out of the lift. The elevator floor didn't match up with the floor level but I didn't realise. So as I tried to push my luggage out it stopped short and I fell over top of it onto the floor as the lift doors were trying to close on my luggage. Hopefully they've sorted that out.
