I loved the hotel, because it was clean, small and - what is No. 1 - Next to metro Ominia square. If you are looking for a hotel with a spacious room and a big bathroom - you are not satisfied. But If you want to go to Athens and see its miracles and have a nice bed, even a little balcony, good breakfast (in a small breakfast-room!). If you want a shower and want to experience one of the smallest showers I have seen (but: It works, what do you want more!) and above all: If you want to travel bud... Read more

we spend 5 nights at the hotel for our little vacation in Athens. staff are very friendly and got us a good deal on excursion. wifi on every floor! breakfast is average. choice is limited. room size is fine. small bathroom but didn't bother us. room are cleaned everyday we stayed in room 604.... lovely little balcony in the sun. no noise at night from the street. walking distance to everything you need.

The reviews I read are the same as I would write. Pros: close to subway, price, food, terrific staff, not too long walk to/ from Acropolis. The only real con is that the neighborhood between the Acropolis and the hotel did not feel terribly safe. Walking around with my 2 teenage boys did ease that. Felt very safe IN the hotel and fine going to Omonia station. We rented an extra bed when my husband arrived. It was a sleeping adventure for my son as the bed was broken and very wobbly. Having s... Despite being in the next room of the fourth cleaning we could rest pretty well in the morning we woke up to the noise a bit too soon. Pillows a little uncomfortable. As for the service, and breakfast very much coontentes correct. The first zone suddenly, but we have not had any problems.

We stayed for 4 nights in the Epidavros hotel it is situated about 5 minutes walk from Omonia metro station just be a bit careful walking to the hotel. We stayed in room 506 there is a small lift to get you to the floor you need. The room was ok with a tv and a fridge the shower was ok but a little cramped and the air conditioning was really good to, all rooms have a balcony. The breakfast was continental but plenty of different things to eat. The staff were really helpful and we were able to le... Read more

One of the best things in this hotel is the staff: they were always nice and helpful, especially a gentleman at the front desk who spoke Spannish and did his best to help us in everything we needed. The room was ok; clean, with comfortable beds, good wi-fi and a minibar, but some renovations would be welcomed, since everything looked kind of old. There is a simple, but good all-you-can-eat breakfast. The location is also ok. Close to the Omonia square and metro station and to all kinds of commer... Read more

Nice hotel near omonoia square and metro stations. I got my room in a sort notice just 2 days before our arrival. The receptionist did his best to find me a double room even though I wanted to make a very early check in round 6 in the morning and had my room at 9. Very friendly and helpfull staff working there. The rooms are ok if you are staying for a few days considering the good price I paid 45euros for one night. (air conditioning,tv, wifi,a small balcony included). You just need to be caref... I wanted to do a review for this hotel as we were so impressed with the staff which went to a very high level to ensure we had a nice stay, we were made to feel very welcome, especially on the week we went Athens went on a strike which stopped the metro, trams, etc, the hotel ensured we had a taxi (which arrived in 5 minutes from calling!) to ensure we got to and from the airport safely, our room was cleaned every day and every time we came and left we were greeted also the breakfast was all fres... A great place to stay.. I really loved the fact that it's located right by the Mediterranean sea! That was a plus for me as I took so many amazing pictures there. I would definitely recommend this place and hope to go back on day.

Nice small hotel with a great location, near to the Omonia Station & many restaurants , good service & quite nice room and affordable. You can just go around near the hotel to find may mini markets or coffee shops. The problem is only the wifi facility that error our last night stay there .

The hotel is close to OMONOIA station a good starting point to visit the beautiful Athens. it is great value for price as you cannot expect too much but you neither pay that much. What is most important is that room is clean and big with all the comforts that a short stay requires in the hot Athens. Area around the hotel (all around Omonoia) is still a bit strange, but we never felt it dangerous, during day or night. Beside the hotel there is a good bar with other young friendly guys who will s... Read more

We were looking for a nice, cheap hotel, not too far away from the city centre just for two nights, and after reading the reviews decided to choose the Epidavros hotel. The hotel is 5 mins away from one of the main metro stations. We were greeted by the nicest gentleman at the reception (sorry we asked for the name but can't recall it), who was really friendly, gave a lot of advises and just made our stay a bit better from the very beginning. It wasn't a five star hotel, but you get your money w... Read more

The hotel rooms look exactly like in photos. The hotel is in the most dangerous and unpleasant area of Athens. Also internet connection is very poor. Hotel management knows the problem, but they ignore it in passive aggresive way. If you'll need a proper internet connection they would suggest you to come to the lobby and work from their PC. Breakfast area is very tiny and small room, suited for around 12 people.

Clean and comfy, excellent value. Really handy for metro network, but not in busy touristy areas, meaning great value characterful restaurants in the area. Only 3 metro stops from Parthenon, 2 from syntagna square, so convenient location.

We reached the hotel before check-in time(so easy and affordable to find and get the hotel from airport by metro)the room was not ready so we decide to start exploring the city. OH HELL! Dirt was everywhere..drug dealers everywhere...two men and one woman smoking crack-cocaine..on the other side of street i saw men had syringe...i was literally shaking. i can imagine how this s... Under normal circumstances I would grade it as average. However, allowing for the bargain price I got per night, friendliness of the front-desk staff, the specious room and fast wi-fi, without a doubt I recommend it and grade it as good.

I got a very good price and as a solo traveller that is always important. It is only 10/15 minutes walk to the historic sights and there is a metro stop nearby anyway (Omonia). I was staying longer in Athens later on my trip, but as I needed to get to the main train station the next morning this is a perfect location. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the breakfast was absolutely fine. Yes I have had better more exhaustive choices, but for the stars the hotel is given it was perfect. ... Read more

Everything was destroyed at once due to the rude receptionist at our arrival. the breakfast was a bit better than before but the cleaners did only the basic cleaning on the breakfast tables. the room was very small for 3 adults. the bathroom was small too but clean enough. extremely bad the fact that the boss was arguing with his employee while we were eating our breakfast. the place is a bit dangerous but we knew it before ... Stayed in this hotel as part of a last minute cheap holiday booking, had read many reviews but remained open minded nevertheless. Firstly the staff are very friendly and are willing to help make your stay enjoyable, the hotel is clean and better than expected for the price. However, take ear plugs with you!! The rooms are less than adequately sound protected, many times I was woken up by drunken foreigners wondering and singing back to their rooms! The location isn't as bad as many reviews make... It's unpleasant to have to leave a review of this calibre, particularly when the staff can do little to remedy the concerns. This is a cheap and cheerful little place. The staff are friendly and the rooms are pretty much as expected for the price. Air conditioned as standard and reasonably comfortable. The overriding issue is location. It is literally in the middle of a ghetto. That's not an exaggeration, it's not flowery language, it's an actual ghetto.

The bad sides about the hotels can be listed as such: It is in a bad neighbourhood, so it is better not to go outside after it gets dark. The hotel room is tiny, compared to the pictures I saw of it. It is a bit misleading, I find personally. The good side: Despite being in a bad area, the hotel appears quite nice and well-maintained. When I checked in, the receptionist had such great manners -something that matters to me a lot - that I found it very endearing. He was doing his best to be polit... Read more

As many people said the hotel is located in a dodgy neighbourhood. But, the service that the hotel-staff provides you are way better than you should get for that price. For around 30 Eur you get a descent room with a good airconditioning, refridgerator and Tv. The staff were very kind and helpful all through my 4 day-stay and they even provided a good and cheap laundry-service. The hotel is one of the better budget-hotels you will stay at.
