Staff wasn't the most friendly. They even smoked from behind the counter. Speaking of smoke, the hotel hallways ricked smoke smell. Rooms were pretty basic and in a sketchy area, even the employee told us not to leave with bags at 6am. Toiletries were terrible quality and burnt our hair. It was clean, I would give you that.

Hotel seems bit outdated but it's: 1. very clean; 2. loocated close to the metro - but you do not have to use the metro or other means of transport because you can walk everywhere on foot ;-) 3. the staff is very nice and helpful; It's ideal place to stay for a short trip (we hae stayed 3 nights)

It was ok.. It is a clean room/bathroom where you can sent one night or two. The whole first floor (where desk is located) has a strong cigarette smell. Last day they let us left our backpacks at the reception to know the place, although we checkout before. They offer free printer service, so you can print your boarding passes for your next adventure.

Room shower with no hanger on the wall. When I realized hanger was broken I asked one of the staff guys to have it fixed and he said it would be done the next day in the morning. After a long day walking I arrived to the hotel and hanger was still there, broken. I went to reception again and talked to another staff which was very rude and after arguing he said all showers in the hotel are like this, that Greek people is used to take shower using only one hand (cause the other hand is used to hol... Located close to central Athens (less than 10 min walk), good value for money if you're looking for one step above hostel living. Basic amenities, standing shower with handheld shower head and shower curtain. Temperature difficult to control (either really hot or really cold). Room had air conditioner and doors that opened onto balcony into a pretty quiet street. Don't expect any bells and whistles, but good for a few nights' stay if you're not particular on luxury.

cheap and cheerful, good for getting around as only round the corner from metro station. No breakfast as no restaurant but there is a bakery up the road. Lovely street market with fresh fruit and veg, on one of the days I was there thurs? I was at the front and had a balcony which was handy to set up the washing line I brought with me.

Very cheap and also clean. Approx. 20min walk to Syntagma or Monastiraki. Very close to railway station. Not too loud at night. Did not see if breakfasts were offered. Good value for money, but no frills.

I'm conflicted in writing this review as it appears like this hotel is really trying to get its stuff together but hasn't quite got the clientele, cash, or the cleanliness to do so! I stayed in Athens for 3 weeks in a different hotel a week prior to my one night stay at Hotel Cosmos, and therefore knew what Athens had to offer. Firstly, I made a mistake. I got off the train line at Omonia and walked to the hotel. The distance between the two is a really really really seedy area. We walked past... Read more

When I say this was a bad experience, that is probably putting it lightly. We arrived at the restaurant and told the hostess that there were only two of us to which he said he would clean a table nearby and seat us. We stood there for about 5 minutes while the hostess took care of others and did not clean the table. No problem, because we were not in a huge rush anyway. After another few minutes roll by and another table becomes available, we begin to question the wait time. 10 minutes rol... Read more

This hotel is well located at 1 min walking from the metro station (find the accurate exit with the lift). The rooms are clean and the hotel welcome desk stuff are helpful and kind, and all talk a good English.

I traveled with my friend and it was important to us the location - close to the metro station and not expensive. We had a twin room, a small balcony and private bathroom with towels. Room 409, stayed for 3 nights

Hotel Cosmos was a standard hotel, once it must have been pretty great, maybe in the 70's but still it can afford you a pleasant stay with good location. I'm sure you will need earplugs to get some sleep, the toilet is also very loud. Price is propably the best part of the hotel. It was also clean and the reception was open 24/7. Mini-market and some great restaurants just across the street.
