perfect hotel for a vacation on budget, the hotel is near the metro station and you can easy find the main attraction of the city. Also near the hotel is a very nice bakery where you can have your breakfast.

we stayed in hotel cosmos from 18-20/10/2016 and stayed again for a night on 26/10/2016 before we headed to Delphi and Kalambaka.Overall, the hotel is ok, not your five star hotel but for the price that we paid, it's a real bargain. the metro is just 5 minutes away (Metaxourghio-blue line) and js only two stops away from Monastiraki! There's a nice bakery, "Bread Factory" near the hotel which is the best thing about this hotel's location as the bakery is cheap and has great coffee and absolutely... Read more

Me and my husband spent 4 nights at HOTEL COSMOS in october 2016 Because we like to walk and walk all day long in the city we only stayed at the hotel at nights to sleep The room is clean, not very big, it has all the utilities needed - soap, shampoo, towels changed every 3 days, hot water, tv channels with english movies, clean sheets We enjoyed our stay and if we ever come back to Athens we'll choose the same hotel

The hotel is in Metaxourghio a suburb of Athens but a few metres from the metro which is only two stops from Syntagma Square. Although the hotel is a two star budget hotel, our room was freshly painted, spacious with a balcony ,large windows and shutters and efficient air con. The staff were very helpful and we were able to leave our cases with them on our last day. The hotel doesn't have a bar or restaurant but there are many bars and cafes nearby. The area is a busy ,working area not touristy, an... Read more

we had some problems with the sink in the bathroom of our room, so we had to change the accommodation, but the manager of the hotel has not been very kind with us. The furniture is ancient. The wi-fi worked well. The position of the hotel was near to the metro, but it is better to avoid the area, because it was not so safe.

A decent, clean, budget, older-style hotel near to a metro stop. Helpful staff especially George who helped us print our Ryanair boarding passes. However, the internet was slow during our stay and the toilet did not drain well. But for the price I paid, I am happy with my choice

We choose to stay to this hotel just for one night because it is close to Metaxourgio metro station and Karaiskaki Square and we were leaving early next morning for a trip to an island and our meeting point was the Karaiskaki Square. So the location was perfect for us. We have arrived to the hotel late (almost midnight) and the reception welcomed us and provide us with all necessary information we need for the hotel. The hotel is old but room was clean and comfortable and it is situated on a qui... Read more

This hotel is located a block away from the Metaxourghio Metro Station, very useful to see Athens on foot. The staff was very kind and friendly but... The room was dirty, very dirty. They didn't change our towels over the days we stood there, the shower drain was clogged up, the curtain had stains and smell bad... also, the bed was not that comfortable. At least, the air conditioning worked well. I think there are better options.

Cleanliness 0/10 Service 0/10 They haven't cleaned the room all over the one week stay, same blankets... You have to ask for several days in order to make them change the towels... The most ironic is that their slogan is "your smile is our aim" ????????????????????????

Hotel Cosmos was a standard hotel, once it must have been pretty great, maybe in the 70's but still it can afford you a pleasant stay with good location. I'm sure you will need earplugs to get some sleep, the toilet is also very loud. Price is propably the best part of the hotel. It was also clean and the reception was open 24/7. Mini-market and some great restaurants just across the street.
