This hotel was fantastic when I stayed for a week in Athens. It is located a ten minute walk from the Acropolis and the Plaka district can be reached within minutes. Just around the corner is a really nice restaurant that do excellent souvlaki amongst other dishes at a very good price. Honestly the location couldn't be better. The room was large, comfortable and clean and I had no cause for any complaints. The staff were very helpful and helped arrange a trip to cape sounio. I would certainly st... Read more

This hotel is in a great location, within walking distance to most of the historic sites. It's location makes it easy to stop by for an afternoon break, away from the heat without loosing precious sightseeing time. If visiting Acropolis, recommend using the side entrance which had no lines to buy tickets. The front desk staff at this hotel was absolutely fabulous. They made our stay very comfortable. We had an early morning flight, they opened the breakfast area at 3:30am so we could get so... Read more

This hotel is a taxi or subway ride from the airport - and within walking distance of the parthenon, acropolis, agora and many other tourist hotspots. The hotel staff was friendly, spoke excellent english and were helpful with special requests. The breakfast buffet was tasty too. The single room I got was perfect for a good nights sleep before sightseeing the next day.

I stayed in this hotel for a few days with a group of high school students from Canada on an educational excursion. The hotel rooms were very clean and the service provided by the staff, especially the front desk and the kitchen staff, were exceptional. They made every effort to ensure that all guests were looked after and attended to our needs. This hotel is situated in the city centre with short walks to major tourist attractions (plaka, Acropolis, monastiraki, shops and restaurants). ... Read more

This is a clean family friendly hotel right off the Plaka near the Acropolis. The staff could not have been nicer. They were very helpful as to where to go and what to see. They advised on transportation options. The hotel was clean. Rooms were basic.Beds and pillows were very comfortable. I asked for more pillows which were supplied right away. Would return here.

Rooms are very small, No views from the windows - you stare at the balcony of the next room. Front office personnel are very courteous, helpful. Food - Average. The most helpful feature is the two jugs of fruit juice - although with a lot of sugar - kept in the front office for the use of the guests. The lifts are somewhat outdated. Good wifi connectivity.

First, I must mention about the fantastic location of the hotel -- walking distance from Perthenon, Arch of Zeus, Acropolis museum etc. The wi-fi was working fine-- our rooms were in the first floor. Breakfast was quite good. The staffs were really helpful. More or less clean rooms. However, there seems to be a problem with triple bedded rooms being too small. As if another bed is put in a double bedded room. The impression you get from hotel website regarding triple bedded room does not match ... Read more

We arrived by car and there was no place to park despite website info that this hotel provides parking space. We parked on the parallel street with some difficulty. Other than that we had good experience with this hotel. The personnel was friendly, the price reasonable with most of Athens tourist attractions within 10-20 minute walk. Good breakfast. The rooms were rather 3-star not 4-star standard.

While our room was a bit sparse - two twin beds crammed together to try to create a king, and they kept coming apart - the location for walking to the Acropolis , all around the Plaka, museums, and tavernas was excellent. Also - proper curtains would be good. The building next door could see right into the room, and all that was there was a pair of sheers that did not afford enough privacy for a honeymoon, shall we say. Very VERY nice staff and excellent breakfast.

Okay, this is an honest review from a first timer to Athens. If you're expecting luxury, keep searching, but if you want to be treated warmly, sleep in a clean and comfortable room, eat an amazing breakfast (included), and literally wake up and walk to ancient ruins within minutes, this is the place to stay. I was fortunate to be staying at this hotel after the long haul flight from Melbourne and what a delight to arrive here! The beds and pillows were so comfy I slept for the first 10 hours. Also I was given room 601 which sits by itself on the top floor with its own balcony and view of the Acropolis which was quite spectacular. Staff were extremely accommodating and friendly but the stand out of this hotel is its location. I would highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Plaka Athens.

It may not be on the main street, but it's still very close and easy to access, loads of restaurants around! 4) A relatively more extensive choice of food for breakfast comparing to all other hotels that we stayed in Greece. I didn't spend much time in the room, but it was clean and comfortable and larger than many hotel rooms in the U.S. The breakfast (included) was very good and included hot and cold items. this hotel supposedly 4 stars not worth it at all. Certainly there is every comfort : the room is of decent size , bedding is comfortable, there is a safe and a hairdryer in the bathroom .... but the breakfast is just ok and the wifi is an exasperating slowness even in the lobby. The restaurant here should be avoided. We suspect that the waitress was having to cook. She did a good job at trying to look calm however it was a disaster. Only one member of our party got a meal.
