We had a really great time. Our first all inclusive holiday and we couldn't believe what good value it was. The room was spotless and kept beautifully clean by the staff. There were four pools. We spent most of the time at the kids pool which was just as lovely for adults. Three different bars. The choice of drinks was fine for us. The food was plentiful and tasty. The staff were really friendly and great with our son. We read lots of reviews before going and glad we weren't put off by the negat... Read more

Positives first. The staff are great and very cheerful and the service they give is good. Our room was ok (no94) and well away from the main hotel. Cleaned daily with fresh linen every other day Breakfast is ok but very repetitious. Now the negatives. The hotel itself is very tired considering it was the beginning of the season. Both pools area's are ok but again in very poor repair with mosaic tiles missing and just looking very dated. The food (apart from breakfast) is very poor. We were on ha... Read more

We are currently staying at sissi bay hotel and Spa and it is very very basic. The rooms are okay very simple although if you want air-conditioning you have to pay 55 euro for the week. The rest of the hotel isn't very clean at all. You never see any cleaners around the hotel unless they are doing the rooms. The only reason this has got 2 stars from me is because of the food; the food is lovely (when you can have it ) this is meant to be an all inclusive hotel. Well I can tell you it is not. You... Just returned from a weeks stay at Sissi Bay. We don't normally stay at seaside resorts, but booked this hotel through British Airways and was more than pleasantly surprised. We had a lovely quiet garden room (101), which we considered changing for a seaside view, but after being shown an alternative, we decided to stay put and were very glad we did. Room was sunfilled from sunrise to sunset, extreamly large and although fairly basic, kept very clean, by a lovely, friendly member of staff. Our... Read more

I had been to the South of France at the end of August for my main holiday but I wanted to get away for my 50th Birthday in September. I was on a budget but i didn't want to go to a rough place. Sometimes you gamble but this paid off, we were only in Sissi for 5 nights but it felt like a lot longer and we did not want to leave. If your looking for a relaxing holiday this is certainly a hotel and location to consider. The grounds of the hotel are fairly large, and with 4 pool areas you can always find a sun bed, or quiet spot. The room we stayed in was fairly large, and clean, although lacking in drawer space for clothes. The one big down side was that we had to pay extra for air conditioning, which in a 4 star hotel, in this climate, should certainly be a standard feature. First of all, if it were possible I'd rate 3,5stars! Even though we didn't go AI, the food is a big part of any hotel. Thats the only thing where the stars did go. The food was not very good. Don't get me wrong, they offer a big variety but i feel like the quality of the ingredients is very very low. We dragged our luggage to the reception desk, along with 2 wheelchairs and a pushchair and proceeded to check in. Favourite place was Tropical Bar with Nikki an expert in cocktails and cappuccinos. It is the staff that make this hotel so good.

We have just had a wonderful 10 days at the Sissi Bay. The hotel does offer value for money but I do believe that air conditioning really should be included and factored into the pricing and when reading the previous reviews it appears that others agree, even though it is clear from the outset that this is a chargeable extra.
