An all-together hotelling concept taken to the next level in an uncomparable location. After a brief stay in the month of June, I was back in Aogust and enjoyed my holidays like never before since it is a complete different way of living the holidays to thus I was used to. The offer of the resort is very complete and everything is cared-for to the last detail (from the facilities, to the food, to the restaurants, the rooms...) The highlight is the sports and entertainment offer which is as va... Read more

This was our second time. We spent two weeks here in 2014 as well. So what follows applies also for last year's experience. The renovation of the rooms is urgently necessary. Outdated old fashioned furniture and a worn out bathroom spoil the fun. Also, installing showers instead of bathtubs would increase the usable space of a rather small bathroom size. However, and these are the reasons we chose this place for a second time: The service in all areas is excellent, Food and its variety are excel... Read more

The hotel is preferred for many families with children. For couples, this hotel is less suitable. Located on a beautiful bay. In all the restaurants it was always very good food. Every evening you could watch beautiful sunsets !

The biggest hotel I think in the area. Many locals work there in the summer time. The traditional architecture, the careful and meticulous choice of materials, a large sandy beach, many swimming pools, wellness offerings, nice restaurants, athletic activities, everything is there waiting fou you!

If you want to have a restful vacation in the island, this is a good place to be. Good food, big bedrooms, nice beaches. Good for children with many swimming pools. A special thank to Kostas, the sous chef, Ariti, our waiter super nice and always smiling and Michaelis, the maitre. The place is very clean and the spa is really great!

Fabulous resort with huge, gorgeous pools and fantastic food. Highly recommended! My son loved the full sized astro football pitch and the great tennis courts. Food was great and the view from the dining terrace was incredible. Hotel was only about 30% full when we went in July as the hotel has just pulled out of an exclusivity agreement with a German travel company which meant that there was loads of room. the downside was that several parts of the hotel were mothballed.

Hotel is clean, room with sea view is big enogh and food in more that averange. Dinner is diverse and different each day (in a 7 days vacantion) but the breakfast is the same each day and not so variate for a 5* hotel. Orange fresh was some kind of medicine taste served from a dispenser. Half board inclued beverages like juice, wine and bear. This was a real plus but there was something strange with the wine because two bottels of the same white wine taste totaly different (one was horrible tas... Read more

Beautiful setting and views, the resort itself is very nice, pools are great and clean, lovely sandy beach for the little ones , tennis courts, spa also very good. HOWEVER, this is all let down by the lack of 'open facilities'. Its like the hotel is running at 50% open! buildings closed that were obviously restaurants and bars. We were given a voucher from our agent for a complimentary 'A LA CARTE' meal !?? Where? Early stages of our stay from the 17july and the strain of the lack of staff was s... Read more

Booked last minute on July 30, arrived on July 31 for 6 days. Perfect welcome, and then the waiting started: bar, snack bar, main restaurant were all understaffed. All three treadmills in fitness not functioning, wrong sports programme handed out on day one, etc. Rooms need an upgrade too, specifically the bathroom. Incredible how the place otherwise was well kept, but the service level just wasn't there. Food generally OK, but we expect more freshness, quality and variety at this 5-star (price)... Read more

The hotel is in a great spot, beach is lovely and sea pristine. The gardens are well kept and the architecture pretty. It is a big hotel without the big block effect. It was full, lots of Germans yes but also lots of Russians. Food is very good to say the number of people here. No mosquitos, but we have never had a problem in Crete. The staff are pleasant except at the main bar. Main dining room is understaffed for the number of guests but it's ok. Nikos the sports guy is great. So is the aerob... Read more

Location, though a bit remote, is perfect, typical Mediterranean landscape with nicely designed garden. Flowers, greenery everywhere, just joy for eyes. Beach is also convenient - there is a secluded bay part for swimming with children, partly stony, partly sandy entrance, and a stormy one which faces open sea. Resort itself is very nice, literally reminds a Cretan village, where one can get easily lost in the beginning (proper orientation signs are somehow missing) but well-maintained. St... Read more

This was our real first vacation with our 1.8 y/o, we were really looking forward to having a nice relaxing time with our boy with plenty of new exciting experiences, we got exactly what we wished for. Upon arrival we were greeted and taken to our room, which had marble floors, was very spacious with a balcony overlooking to the sea and giant lawns all around. Room had a modern 32inch Sony TV (unlike what some of the other reviews are mentioning), huge beds and a spare sofa that can act as a ... Read more

We stayed at this resort early August, as a couple. We booked a first floor room (there are only two floors: ground and first) because we felt it gave us more privacy. The room was spacious, with TV. The sea facing balcony was the best part of it. Sitting there at night with the lights switched off, watching the sea and listening to its rythm was so relaxing. The food was good, and the restaurant staff were working EXTREMELY hard, as the restaurant was crowded (Tip: go to the restaurant early, a... Read more

Good value for money. We were pleasantly suprised by the half board formula. Drinks are included, very nice! We had a bit of a downside because the room we were in had no working airconditioning and in the summer that is unbearable. The hotel did compensate that accident. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are clean and spacious. The food in the buffet is of very high quality. The only thing we missed wat animation for the kids. The pool is large but there is nothing to do, that is ... Read more

We spent almost two weeks in this hotel in August and September, had a "full pension plus" variant meaning breakfast, lunch and dinner with non-alcoholic drinks plus beer and wine included, everything outside the restaurant (pool bars etc.) had to be paid (including non-alcoholic beer) - no "all inclusive" possible. Very nice and spacious rooms even with a small terrace for families, excellent food (however, it happened to us once that we could not find a table for dinner at around 8 pm so decid... Read more

Nice Hotel in Kreta island ... Really peaceful and friendly service from hotel team. But only one thing you can expect here. You can't order food and drinks from room service. They won't serving you with any kind of reasons. The first hotel in the world which is didn't do room service. So, I have to accept that. :-(

We spend 5 days in this hotel from September 28,2016 with my husband. The hotel has got a nice setting, it is big, but in a form of a Cretan village, which is nice and you dont have the feeling that it is huge. The hotel was half empty and very quiet what we liked. Food was average so we chose to eat outside of hotel in restaurants in Sissi mots of the time. The staff is generally ok. We had a bungalow suite sea view which was nice. The furniture and bathroom is quite old, it would need some ren... Read more

We found this beach after trying others in the area that were too rocky. It was ideal being easy to walk into the sea, with just a few small rocks to tread carefully over, then into the beautifully clear and warm water for a swim. With plenty of sunbeds and parasols only 10 euro for two beds and a parasol. The doughnut seller comes along twice a day if your feeling hungry! The beach is nice and long if you like walking to cool off, it wasn't overcrowded when we were there. Tip-We parked our... Read more
