The Agro hotel was the perfect place to stay for relaxation, great food, and swimming in the sea. It is run by the kindest family whose hospitality made our stay. They treated us like family and I can't say enough about their great energy and generosity. The location is perfect - on a great beach and close to many other amazing beaches (it was hard to choose they were all so good!). The room clean, quiet and relaxing. We had a sea view and watched the full moon rise from our balcony. The Argo ... Read more

It's the ideal place to relax and get yourself away from all the worries of the world! The hotel is right next to the sea in the middle of this fishing village. Rooms are quite nice and you can get also a studio with its own kitchenette if you like. But you should try the food at the hotel restaurant. Fresh fish and great home cooked dishes that you can choose from! Definitely try the award winning breakfast with ostrich's egg! You can buy a hand painted ostrich egg or other artefacts made loc... Evia is an under estimated region of Greece. It's the 2nd largest island of Greece and still hardly known by tourists! On the east coast you can find a little harbor village Ayioi Apostoloi, 30 km south of Kimi. Argo Hotel is situated right on the beach only separated by the "boulevard", which is in fact a sand road. The boulevard is typical Greek, with tavernes and bars with terrases on the beach. Argo Hotel is a very comfortable place to stay. You are welcomed by the owners and their son. The... Read more

Beautiful place, created and keeping up with many love and good liking. The staff is so kind, they are working with personal attention and care to every guest. The food is delicious and fresh. The service in the restaurant is perfect. My recommendation is to make a children's ground.

We spent 5 days in Argo Hotel. The rooms are clean as well as the whole hotel. However the most amazing thing about this place is the hospitality. The whole family makes you feel at home with fulfilling everything you need with a smile. The food in the hotel is homemade and delicious. Don't miss the morning cakes. The village itself is fantastic simple place with several taverns on the beach. Argo hotel is a place to come back to. We surely will.

If you have been there, done this, seen that etc. Let me suggest a different type of holiday. This is no 5 star resort but that is the beauty of Argo. The tourism is Local Greek tourism and foreign languages are not often heard in the village of Agio Apostopoli. Plenty of places to eat, a few mini markets, a pharmacy, a bakery and plenty of Greeks having great fun. As for the Hotel, it's a family run hotel and they go out of their way to make you feel like a part of the family. You can spend the... Read more

We spent five days in this beautiful hotel. All was perfect: hotel and rooms are very clean, there is an outdoor pool, a small zoo (the owner loves animals), and a pair of ostriches; don‚??t try to pet him, however, as the male is a bit cranky during the mating season, due to the fact that, as Makis stated, he typically has a harem of four females, but in this instance ‚??only‚?? one (there is a 2 m chain link fence that separates the ostriches). Homemade, fresh and delicious food (for the break... Read more

Beautiful hotel, very clean, lovely atmospheric decor in the rooms, and all throughout the hotel, right on a very safe and clean beach, and also with a swimming pool. Lovely shady terrace for eating and drinking overlooking the beach and harbour, and the best breakfast we had during all our travels in Greece. Totally unspoilt area with a stunning coastline and deserted beaches, we revisited a beach we had camped on 38 years ago and it hadn't really changed! Thoroughly recommend this lovely fa... Read more

What a lovely place! We have been holidaying in various parts of Greece for many years and this reminded us of how lovely it used to be. The hotel is clean, quaint, quiet and wonderfully Greek - exactly why we come here and love it so much. The breakfasts are delicious, mother makes fantastic cakes, pies and jams. Makis speaks excellent English and very helpful with local information and places to visit. I must admit I don't really understand the Greek thing about keeping birds in cages, budgies... Read more
