An excellent, clean hotel, with a cosy family atmosphere. The restaurant is by the pool and always serves fresh cook dishes. There is also a secondary poll suitable for children. Staff is always helpful and friendly. Definitelly recommended.

We went there to look at rooms! It was fullbooked, so we took a coffee and swim in the pool. The hotel and area is so beautiful and fresh. There is also a outdoor pool for children aside. The owner took time and show us around, very friendly. We would love to stay here next time.

I stayed here for three nights in Sept. The owner was very helpful and gave us great tips on things to do on the island and really couldn't do enough for us. The rooms were clean. A few minutes walk from the beach. We had lunch in the restaurant on the first day. My bf had moussaka which was delicious and I had some lovely fresh fish. There was a storm on the island the day before so we were unable to utilise all the outdoor facilities however they were doing their best to clean the area up and ... Read more

I travel a lot - so many times, I hardly know where I am because the accommodations are totally generic. Our stay at Ela Mesa opened a window to beautiful Aegina and the wonderfully gracious and kind people of the island. We could not have asked for nicer people than Thrassos and Thespina - they made us feel so welcome and well-cared for, nothing was too much trouble. We loved the food, fresh, well-seasoned and the apartments were very nice - very clean. It was off-season so the pool was not o... Read more

Always very well looked after by Thrassos and staff. Spotlessly clean, excellent food. You wish for nothing. Great location to explore the island of Aegina or just to lay back an enjoy the sun. They run a ferry from Athens to Souvala twice a day so getting there is really easy.

The rooms are very comfortable, although the bathrooms are a little small. During our stay the hotel was very quiet and we were able to the pool to ourselves on a couple of days. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, on our last day as we were checking out the owner had already checked if our ferry was on time and advised us it was running 30mins late and then insisted he would drive us to the ferry port. Although it was very quiet during our stay, there are many good bars and restaurants i... Read more

First of all, I like the friendly and peaceful atmoshphere of the hotel. It is the place where you can definitely relax and enjoy your holiday. There are two big pools where you can refresh yourself and also comfortable sunbeds for having a rest. Moreover, the staff is always helpful and smiling. They always try to do the best. Last but not least, the view is amazing from the balcony. Watching the incredibly beautiful sunsets there made my day. Finally, I would highly recommend to anyone to stay... Read more

The family on four stayed at Ela Mesa for two nights. We experienced a nice and clean hotel with an owner very dedicated in making sure the guests had a perfect stay. Together with the rest of the staff, in special the sweet young hungarian receptionist and bar maid, they managed to create a nice and relaxing atmosphere making the hotel a good place to stay. We had a good family room with a nice seaview from the balcony. The room was nice and clean and the air condition worked perfectly. The b... Read more

A beautiful hotel in a lovely tranquil location- having been on a busy 2 week holiday prior to our arrival, this was exactly what we needed. The owner and his staff are welcoming and will do anything they can to help you. Would recommend if you want peace and quiet and relaxation!

We booked Ela Mesa based on recomandation in Trip Advisor .Souvala it is a small village in the nord part of the island and it is not the best place to stay in Aegina.Try to stay in Aegina Town or minimum in Perdika,Ella Mesa it is hidden some where to a small street and quait faraway from the beach,It is written 80 m but it is a minimum of 300 m.The hotel have not connection with the photos on internet it os updated and absolutly basic. The breakfast very poor and the personel not helpful at all... We returned to this amazing hotel to be welcomed personally by Mr Thrassos and his friendly staff. The hotel continues its high standard of cleanliness and well maintained gardens. The two pools cater for everyone so there is no overcrowding. The restaurant sources fresh ingredients and prepares all food on the premises. The menu is very extensive and caters for all ages even the very fussy eaters. We were very sad to leave but will be returning very soon.

We went with five friends ages ranging from 48 to 74 the hotel and staff are very friendly and nothing is to much trouble, the restaurant offers some of the best Greek we have tasted, the rooms are all large most with a big double bed and one single. The owner is on site all of the time along with his staff looking after us. Excellent pools plenty of sun beds and sun shades.short walk into the harbour with plenty of Tavernas, yes we will be back.

Lovely setting, beautiful and clean. Ela mesa is a wonderful stop for a quiet and relaxing stay. Check in was a breeze, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is a A+, always fresh, tasty and lots of variety. 5 minute walk to town. We rented a scooter and travelled most of the island. We favored the Agia Marina beach, simply for the huge quiet bay and the services available. Its about a 15 minute scooter ride away. Simply a great stay.

You can not beat the Ela Mesa in Souvala. Clean , friendly, and the best food around. Thrassos is an excellent host. All your needs are catered for. He is backed up by 3 wonderful girls, Ursula, Dori & Maria. Been going here since 2005. Every year the apartments and pool area just get better. Just sit back and relax and let the friendliness of Greece embrace you.

Unfortunately, this was a bit of a disappointment all round. The biggest single issue for me was that I wanted to stay somewhere with a pool. Only 3 weeks before arrival I emailed this property to check that the pool would still be open the week starting 15th Oct. A polite email came back saying that the pool would be open until the end of October. So I cancelled a previous booking and went for this. I booked in good faith in spite of seeing some reviews saying that the pool is basically decorat... Read more

This resort style hotel is about 15 minutes by taxi from the ferry terminal... cost 12 euros.A lovely quiet spot off the main tourist strip. Spacious rooms, AC, large double bed and balconies with panoramic views of the sea. There is a decent restaurant on site but its also easy walking distance to Souvala which has some good cafes and a great cake shop. Good wifi, good basic breakfast.
