I stayed here November 2015, really lovely room, staff were helpful and friendly. Didn't bother with breakfast as it seemed priced but the restaurant was lovely too. Rooms were clean and spacious, really good location, maybe five/ten minutes walk to the main train station and a further five minutes to the main shopping/Christmas market.

We stayed in one of the two bedroom apartments on the fourth floor, with two adults and two kids. It was a huge amount of space, like a large flat, very comfy beds, large table to eat and play and draw on, and three TVs. It was quiet, calm, and relaxing, in the middle of a busy city. The kitchen and coffee machine were very useful. The hotel bar and restaurant are good value and with a nice atmosphere, we ate there most nights in the end. For an alternative there are a number of chain-type resta... Read more

We stayed here for one night to attend a party in town. The hotel was very easy to find and walkable from the downtown venue. The hotel is beautiful, with a fantastic design. Open and airy and welcoming. The room was large with a pull out couch that they had already turned into a bed for our daughter. The bathroom was small comparatively - but still well done and clean. The toiletries were nice and they even provided fresh apples for us. Staff was friendly and helpful with directions.

Two single beds in a single-occupancy room, all electricity plugs close to bed were in use by laps etc, the only free plugs were in corners of the room far away from tables/bed, there is only a very rudimentary desk in the room making it difficult to do work properly. Very complex Wifi Signup procedure (yet FOC). Food was not bad but not great either in light of the prices. Had a fairly expensive Old Fashioned at the bar which was too sweet and lacked bitters. Well located close to main station.

Very nice hotel close to a very big shopping mall (including Primark) witch is located at the Bibliotheka metro station. I recommend coming to the hotel from this metro station instead of coming from the central train station, so you'll have to walk downhill (3 minutes) instead of uphill, and without the need to climb many stairs with the luggage in your hands. Use metro lines 5,6,7,12,15 . Very clean, comfortable, quite and large room. Beautiful design. Free WI-FI. Close to big shopping mall. ... Read more

Good hotel for an overnight stay in Stuttgart, and the parking is private and secure at 18 euro per night. The room was spacious, the beds and pillows of excellent quality and the service was friendly, although unaccommodating. We opted to include the mini bar for an extra 15 euro which wasnâ??t worth it as it had spirits, beer, soft drinks, but no wine. I asked if the spirits could be swapped out for wine and the hotel said they donâ??t stock smaller wine bottles. I was also shocked when I was ... Read more

This hotel looks stylish enough, even if the (modern) furniture looks already worn. The staff is friendly and helpful. But I fail to find anything that would make Arcotel Camino exceptional. The breakfast buffet is a case in point: its presentation is stylish, but what it offers is actually quite limited. It's located a few minuted from the train station, but this also means that to get to the historical city center you'll have to make a short walk amidst exceptionally ugly modern buildings. A... This was a 3 night stay on vacation. The room, dining room, and bar were very nice and what we expected. Staff was attentive when needed. You can walk to train station if you do not have too much luggage. No night life near hotel. The only negative was the 22 Euro fee for the breakfast buffet. No other choice for breakfast. An excellent first class buffet, but we do need to spend $49 US for the two of us to have breakfast. Apparently they have some other room deals that include breakfast, but we... Read more

Stayed 3 nights at this hotel and there are its plus and minuses: Pluses + The room that I had wasn't available to me until 4:30pm (the check-in time starts at 3pm), but the staff there gave me access to their wellness centre so I could get a change of clothes and a free drink at the bar + The staff are very helpful, they offered me a 3 day metro pass at a discount and a European power adapter because I forgot mine in Canada + Despite being a business hotel (Stuttgart is more a business hub and... I spent 1night here and I enjoyed my stay. The room for 2people was big and comfortable. The wi-fi worked perfectly and the hotel has little nice details. The building is not modern but it has class. The entrance is a luxury style of entrance with a beautiful chandelier. The breakfast had a lot of choice and it was nice. Highly recommended!

Our 3 night trip to Stuttgart was primarily to visit the Porsche factory and Mercedes museum (fitted in the zoo too!) I chose this smart, modern hotel as it is only about 10 minutes walk (but quite a few steps to climb) from the central station. We planned to use a 3 day rail card (bought at reception) on the S & U Bahn. After walking up through an office area we came to a very busy road and looking at the front of hotel right next to it I worried that our room would be noisy. However the rece... Read more

I visited this hotel a few weeks ago whilst away for a weekend in Stuttgart. Both my friend and I found the hotel to be ideally located and very comfortable. The hotel is a short walk from the train station which allows you fantastic access to both the city and the airport when it was time to go home. I visited an Arcotel Hotel when visiting Hamburg a few years ago and can see that they must purchase the same bath towels for all of their hotels. They are very thin and do not match the qualit... I like this hotel. It's modern and chic but the rooms are comfortable and the service is excellent. The location is good. At the moment, all of Stuttgart seems to be under construction. The area around the main train station is a wreck but you can still walk from the hotel to the center. My room was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was expansive. The complimentary wi-fi worked well.

Stayed here for two nights while visiting friends in Stuttgart. The family suite was perfect. Wish we had it on all stops on our trip. Huge living area with double rooms and full bath on either side. Stocked with drinks and snacks. Very nice lounge in lowest level of the hotel. Staff were very nice and helpful. Highly recommend.

First of all getting here from the train station was tricky. There is construction in the area. If you are walking take a direct right turn out of the train station and walk through a business area to cross the street up the hill to the Arcotel Camino. We made the mistake of walking under the street and trying to access the other side of the road. Once we got to the hotel it was lovely. We honesty didn't spend much time here. As other people mentioned we had trouble walking there because of all the contruction around the main train station. It should have been a seven minute walk and turned into a half hour with our luggage on a hot day and due to confusing directions given from the station. Once we got there the hotel was lovely. We had a good size room with very comfortable beds. We found the short way back to the station and it is also in walking distance to the Schloss Park area where all the action is. We did no... The hotel is located near the main train station. It's close to a big shopping mall if you plan to do some shopping. Dining options are ok, but still require at least 15min walking distance. Toiletries are included. The worst part of this hotel are that the single rooms have tiny showers, the hotel restaurant is too dark and feels a bit too cold. Breakfast is ok, nothing special and felt the space was too small. The single rooms were too small that one could not hang their clothes and I found t... Read more

We chose this hotel as the base of our stay not due to the location but the quality and boy we were not let down! The rooms were done to a very high standard and each room being individually soundproofed was a well received addition (the main reason for our booking) the only comment in the room is that the shower room area tiles lead directly onto the carpet of the main area which I can imagine will cause issues over time maybe worth installing lips to stop this? if travelling alone during a cooler time of year, this hotel would suit just fine, would even be great. however, I cannot recommend it for more than one person or for those who need/want air conditioning. I chose this hotel specifically for 2 reasons: the air conditioning and being walking distance to the city center. when we drove up, the location looked misleading at first; the hotel is situated on a major road, and I feared my walk to the city center would be difficult, loud, and dangerous. ... We had a wonderful stay at the Arcotel Camino recently. The hotel is well located, close to the main train station and across the road from a nice shopping centre. The room was spacious, clean and contained everything we required. Few hotels manage to have character. Even fewer manage to get it right when it comes to staff. I was only there for two nights and my time was so pressured that I probably spent just a little more time at the hotel than my sleep time. Yet the staff managed to make me feel welcome, a booking issue (my fault) was sorted out without any undue stress and whenever I asked for something they just made it happen (and I know the hotel was full and they had a gazillion things to do). We were visiting Stuttgart for a 4 day visit and wanted to be within walking distance of the main shopping area and the train station, this hotel does both. Good hotel, clean and modern. We didn't use the restaurant, it looked a bit pricey, but good, however the city has a great choice of restaurants which suited us. Our room was on the 3rd floor and comfortable, no problems with the room at all. A good bar for a night cap on returning. We will use this hotel again.

I ended up at the Arcotel Camino not by choice, but after failing to get a room in hotels nearer to the main station in Stuttgart. It turned out to be a gem. Don't go by google maps per se - the Arcotel Camino is just a few minutes' walk to the main station for connections to Frankfurt and everywhere else. I had to take an early train to Frankfurt for my connecting flight to New York and Arcotel turned out to be as convenient as hotels situated nearer to the station. It is quiet, big rooms, nice...
