If I go to Rostock my favourite place to stay is the Penta Hotel. You can park the car in the basement with direct access to the lobby. The design of the hotel is very appealing. The surroundings is the central part of town. Didn´t stay for breakfast this time, but the last time it was exellent too..

Really nice, clean room with a big bathroom with loads of mirrors, perfect! Nice beds. Location was perfect in the middle of Rostock but still quiet. The only downside was the staff. Trendy upscale hotel, clean rooms and friendly staff. Perfect location literally just steps from everything. Public parking (underground) has elevator right to hotel. Reception and bar with a billiards table, very relaxed atmosphere. After the city shuts down good place to have a night cap, inviting out door lounge and tall tops Seemed very popular. Dinner and drink specials coincide with sporting events.

Rostock Is a fantastic place to visit and the Pentahotel is in a great location being in the centre of town. We didn't spend much time in the hotel and was disappointed with the quiet room we asked for. We were kept awake all night by deliveries to the shopping centre which is part of the hotel complex so was not very restful ! There wasn't any tea / coffee making facilities in the room either so made for very long nights.

The hotel is well-situated and modern. Those are its strengths. On the other hand, the front desk staff are unfriendly and unwelcoming - perhaps as a result of dealing with the throng of tour bus guests that, evidently, stay there (though this is no excuse). The room could well have been cleaner. I found several long hairs on the carpet and in the bed linen (I have very short hair). The price was reasonable; if you must, then stay here but I think Rostock must offer better.

I've stayed here many times on business and it's a great spot if you're doing an in and out trip in the area or a long weekend enjoying the Baltic Sea. They have renovated everything very modern, and the rooms are functional, clean and the beds very comfy. It's a rather large facility, so sometimes you end up in the older part of the building where the rooms are extremely large with a view of the square - really makes it feel like a mini palace! WiFi connection is great and no technical issues.

This is a very good hotel, with very friendly staff and it is located close to shops etc. That beds are very hard, so if you have a bad back, beware of that! The breakfast was fine. Staff nice.
