Less than 10 min. walk from main station and close to everything else. Fast and smooth check-in. I had a very clean, spacious and quiet room (6th floor), nicely furnished. WLAN was stable, fast and free. The safe is in good laptop size and with plug inside for charging. Breakfast area was staffed with many helpful waitresses - excellent. And the breakfast was very good, too. Many shops and restaurants within walking distance. Area seemed safe to me day and night. Will come again.

Stayed one night. In brief: very well managed. Upon arrival, all details on file and we were checked in friendly and most efficiently. Parked the car right opposite the main entrance in the open air parking spot which is very convenient (moreover that there is video surveillance of the parking spot). Got a spacious and very tastefully appointed room. Great quality product for accommodation for business and private needs as well. Slept very well as our room facing the courtyard was very quiet. This is a good place but already a few years old. It's very close to the train station but not on the city center although on a walking distance ~15min. Rooms are spacious enough but old decor. Breakfast was quite good w/ enough variety and quality and staff was friendly. They also have a nice bar next to the reception and wifi is free.

Nice clean, spacious room. Good breakfast selection. Attentive staff handling my goods delivered to the hotel. Location is very good, 2 min to train station,5 min to old town city center. During my stay, there are lot of corporate guests for meetings, so it's a good choice for business people and travellers.

We stayed here for one night on our way back to UK after being on a Danube Cruise with Great Rail Journeys in a group of 23 people. The room was exceptionally quiet and very well laid out; the hotel is within a 5 minute walk of the railway station which is very convenient when you have luggage with you. However, the service in the bar and restaurant was appalling - the bar staff couldn't remember who had what drinks and when you tried to pay were off-hand and surly. The meal was a set menu (prob... Wonderful breakfast, even came with extra charge, but truly delightful. Nice, spacious rooms, excellent room service, nice terrace on top, even with some sunbeds there! Public areas are spacious and clean, was fun for our kid to run & explore. Comfy bed and plenty of toiletries in the bathroom. On the lower side: In-house parking is a bit tricky, but since it was half-empty, was still easy to park/use. Wi-fi connection in room was very slow. Didn't got anything special as SPG Gold, apart of sec... Read more

We stayed at the Sheraton Nuremberg from 24th to 27th June. We chose the hotel due to its proximity to the main station and market area. Public transportation is a very short walk away. We mostly used the trams to go to the DokuZentrum and then onto Norisring. From reception through to check-out we were treated with high standards of service and utmost professionalism. Staff at breakfast and dinner were friendly and made us feel welcome. In the mornings, instead of phoning room service, which... Read more

I stayed here for one night and was pleased with the location and the entrance area as it is lovely. The room was well equipped and had enough room for working in as well as sleeping. I had dinner and breakfast here. The food is very good, there does need to be more vegetarian choices though. The reason for my 4 * is the attitude of one of the receptionists, she was not particularly welcoming. Also some of the waitresses need to be a bit more attentive.

Location: 5 minutes walk from the station, 2 minutes walk from shops, bars and restaurants, you straight into the heart of Nuremberg. Rooms: Delightfully spacious, with dedicated desk area, sitting area, large beds and bathrooms equipped with toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body lotion) & hairdryers. BoyMann's Bar: the service at the bar is AMAZING, such friendly & helpful staff.

This is supposed to be a 5 star hotel. It is situated down a side road not far from the station, which is convenient but not exactly nice. Our room overlooked the rail tracks. The rooms are fine but not exceptional. We were with Great Rail Journeys (which we recommend) but this hotel was the lowlight of the trip. I wanted a vegetarian meal and all I got was a plate of not very well cooked vegetables and boiled potatoes without any sauce or anything. Surely a 5 star chef could be a bit more imagi... Read more

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The weather was nice and we wanted an evening drink on the top floor for the view. The top floor cafe does not serve anything other than soft drinks/tea/coffee and beer. It was therefore necessary to buy our drinks from the ground floor bar and take them up in the lift. The restaurant meal was disappointing and not to the standard you would expect from this standard of hotel.

Large rooms, clean, great staff, good location. I was there for one night. I would rather put this hotel in the 4 star category cause it doesn't feel like a 5 star. I was told the breakfast was included and I ended up paying for it with no information about it while walking in and they asked for my room number. All they said was "ok miss" (even tho it was very good) but all in all I can't say the price I payed was a 5 star hotel price so I was happy to stay there and will recommend it strongly.

We were a team of 4 people 4 rooms. From the very beginning we had troubles at the checking, Later no way to have a big blancket. Next day rooms were not fixed the way you expected. Mine had the breakfast tea still on the table and trush hadn't been collected. Beds were arranged worse tan in a 2 stars pension. Another day, a iPhone charger was dissapear. A few minutes later the cleaning guy brought it still warm which meant that he was using it.... unbelieveble.!!!!!!

Christkindlesmarkt is a time to visit the old town of Nuremberg. And, the Sheraton Carlton is situated within walking distance from this markt, making it a prime location to stay. This hotel is always clean, comfortable and safe. F&B is excellent on this property. The breakfast is wonderful - with a great array of German breakfast delicacies, and there is always a champagne stand to boot. Often times this hotel is booked solid during November/December, so plan ahead. Also, surprisin... Read more

It‚??s not your grandpa‚??s or even father‚??s Sheraton. I am not being snide about Sheraton; it‚??s a good, reliable brand, comparable to basic Hiltons and Marriotts. But Sheratons ‚?? typically ‚?? are nothing very special, certainly nothing luxurious and pampering. Thus, understandably, I was quite skeptical when, in planning a visit to Nuremberg, I saw that the Guide Michelin ranks the Sheraton Carlton as Nuremberg‚??s top hotel. Over the years (decades, even) I‚??ve had very good experien... Read more

The hotel's situation is great because it is very close to the central station and also just a short walk to the old town/city-centre and to the Germanisches Nationalmuseum. Still, it is in a calm street. I stayed here twice and on both occasions got very good rates. I recommend to choose a room facing the street from which you see the railway tracks what I find is a lively and interesting view and for me wasn't a noise issue, windows are well isolated. The view from backward rooms is towards ... Read more

Beautiful hotel. Great location. Amazing prices. Wonderful spa. We have stayed here multiple times and we love it. The rooms are amazing, we've stayed in the classic rooms up to the penthouse suite. Very reasonable prices for great rooms. They are very accommodating with our large dogs. Food is a little pricey but good. Honestly I have nothing bad to say about this hotel by far the best place we have ever stayed in Nuremberg.

Reception and the welcome were a bit sterile despite having the penthouse and being an SPG loyalty member. Power service in the restaurant for breakfast especially and for dinner was good. But the Wienner Schnitzel was seriously awful. The Penthouse is amazing with a h u g e terrace and the suite is well laid out, meticulously clean and well equipped. Checkout was efficient but lacking any real hospitality. Bar service was good and genial. Would I stay here again if I were to return to Nure... Read more

An excellent hotel located adjacent to the main train station in Nurnberg. Very good breakfast buffet. Good business centre. Comfortable lounges. Very comfortable rooms - many renovated with new hardwood floor. Near popular tourist sites and city bus and tram lines.

Beautiful hotel. Fabulous location within walking distance of train station (tram, etc). Excellent restaurant and bar with very friendly, prompt service. The food really was outstanding. On the first day we arrived I had piping hot pumpkin soup and Caesar salad. We ate there for breakfast twice and were not disappointed. Rooms are spacious and well-appointed.

Great for a business trip or a city getaway, close to old city, shopping area and central train station. On the outer heart of Nuremberg, this Business Class Hotel will make any visitor feel welcome and comfortable. Its super sized lobby and common areas, pleasant coffee frontage spots and relaxing lounges welcome you to the property. We checked into the hotel after a river cruise and were generally happy with the location, spaciousness and front of house service. I think this is more a business hotel than an holiday hotel. However, a couple of things left us wondering about the in house communications and practices. We checked into a double room but 1. found only 1 bathrobe in the cupboard - not a big deal as we did not need it; 2. found only 1 glass and 1 bottle of water each day. After a longer trip around southern Germany, this was our little layover hotel in Nuremberg. It was perfect for just that. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was big and comfortable, fully equipped and clean. The Spa has a nice view over the city and you are not too far from the center (10 min walk) - right next to the train station. Very practical location.

Located on Eilgutstrasse just outside the West exit of the Hauptbahnhof, you can walk the 3-4 hundred yards to the Sheraton. Perfect if you are traveling by train as we were. Check in was fast despite being early (2PM vs. 3PM normal c/i) and room was ready. Unfortunately it was next to elevator shaft. We asked for different room and they assigned us a corner room windowed on 2 sides and an upgrade to Superior from classic. Room was spacious, nicely furnished, functional and comfortable. Unfort...
