Between Regensburg and Nurenberg is the closeby Nature Park Altmuhltal just before the entrance to the Bavarian Forest only 2 km distance from highway A 3. The hotel with its own butchers shop is ideally nestled in the original landscape of the Oberpfaelzer Jura Upper Platinate Mountains. The restaurant which was excellent in the Bavarian guesthouse tradition competition offers meat sausage and ham specialities as well as game specialities from local hunting grounds.
