I was in Nuremberg for a business around mid May. I stayed here for 4 nights. Walkable distance from Hauptbahnhof, main train station along the main street in a decent business location. Room was nice; but I felt the air conditoning was below par and the room was warmer than I expected even after keeping the temperature setting to the lowest. The Wi Fi was below par and I experienced frequent disruptions to my connection; both on my PC and my smart phone. Please correlate with reviews of other... Read more

The hotel is close to city center and main station. The room is big enough for two adults and a 1,5 years of baby. Breakfast is very good, there are lots of things like fruit, yogurt, cheese, different kinds of ham, coffee, tea ect. The receptionist was very helpful. If we go to Nurnberg again, we'll stay there.

the hotel was very central and near the train station to get to and from the airport, and easy to find. Breakfast was great with a good selection. friendly staff! the only downfall about this hotel i would say, would be the wifi as i had to sit right next to the door to get any connection and it cuts off a lot,you have to constantly keep retyping the password in. Great rooms with comfortable beds! but overall if your not bothered about the wifi i would recommend a stay here.

Things that worked: Great location (very close to main station), big shower, wifi, lower price than some other places. Things that didn't work: room was so hot we couldn't sleep. We opened the windows but the drunks were yelling and there's too much traffic: fan was very noisy and kept us awake without ear plugs; hard small bed; hard small pillows; thin tiny towels; postage stamp room; had to fix shower drain; ran out of hand soap; ran very low on toilet paper and had to call for more, can't adj... One of the worst experiences ever! The rooms here are small and when we checked in the carpet was wet! The room started to stink and I felt like we were living in a morgue... Breakfast was very limited...its better to walk down to the train station just a few hundred meters away and buy something over there! The only two positives were the location of the hotel and the attitude of the staff who were very helpful!

Overall had a good experience of Nuremburg. The hotel was close to the station, and to the old town. The room was ok, although a little small, but was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was ok, without criticism. I found the staff to be very helpful and friendly, and I would definitely return as this place offered great value for money.

The hotel is located right by the train station, in a street with lots of other hotels. Perfect for a couple of days stay in N√ľrnberg like we had. Super friendly housekeepers and hotel staff, and everything you need for (free) breakfast. Really nice bathrooms!

Pretty much what you expect from Holiday Inn Express. First time I have been staying in one in Germany though. Found the breakfast a little bit limited compared to the choices offered in Holiday Inn Express places in UK, but maybe it is due to continental tradition. Warning for walnut bread if you are allergic, we almost had an accident with it, as we weren't expecting it (it was declared in small print though).

I have stayed in this Holiday Inn Express several times. The location is great, 5 min walking from old town (and the old town sites and restaurants) and just a few hundred meters from central railway station (hauptbahnhof), which is also the closest subway station and with a direct link to airport. On the negative side, very, very basic breakfast, which in peak season tends to in addition get really crowded, no gym. Rooms are surprisingly big for an "Express" and the hotel is new in general, roo... Read more

The Holiday Inn Express Nuremberg City is perfectly located to explore Nuremberg on foot, tram or train. In just a few minutes walking you are in the beautiful old city where there are many restaurants, shops and sightseeing locations. The hotel offers no surprises and is typical of Holiday Inn Express, which we appreciate. Our room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was simple yet all you need to get going. Good Internet connection and free car parking. We stayed during the Interzoo convention and... Read more

This hotel was in a terrific location to visit the Altstadt (old city.). A quick walk from the Main train station with metro and trolley access very close. Price was very comparable for our family of 3. Breakfast was included with our stay. Not fancy but what you would expect when included with the hotel price. Hotel parking is limited however we were able to get a space arriving about noon on a Saturday. Cost was only 16‚?¨ for the night which is fair for a place in the city. Hotel staff wer... Read more

We spent two nights at this hotel - we wanted somewhere close to the train station and old part of the city. This hotel was ideal for us. Staff were welcoming, rooms were of a good size and standard. We also had the free breakfast on offer and can't understand some of the negative comments about range and quality. What was on offer was the traditional continental breakfast - rolls, bread, croissants etc, at least four types of cereals, yoghurt, fruit salad, cucumbers, tomato, cheeses, cold meat a... Read more

Excellent stay. The hotel is strategically located in downtown Nuremberg, just one block away from the long distances buses station and two blocks away from the train station. Additionally, the historical area of the city is 10 minutes away walking. Even though breakfast is not outstanding, it is indeed quite good, service is very efficient and rooms are new, lovely decorated, spacious and with incredibly comfortable beds. Fully satisfied with the experience.

Convenient and close to the train station and town. Friendly staff. Offer of a wine or beer if you skip having your room cleaned for a day! Average self service continental breakfast. The towels in the bathroom were very disappointing, mine actually had holes in it and was very old and rough. When I asked for a new towel it came to the room very quickly but was still old and rough, but at least it didn't have a hole! Free Wi-Fi for 3 devices only.

As budget options go, this newer hotel is in great shape. The staff was friendly, the fixtures seemed new and the location was good. The breakfast was meager compared to more expensive options, but the breakfast room was clean. The only downside is that the area around the hotel gets a little less safe than options right in the old town because of the questionable characters roaming near the train station. We did not feel unsafe, however. It was a good stay overall.

Hotel is clean, staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast was as expected for a HIE, nothing glamorous but fresh and filling. Clean all around. Wi-Fi was free and solid, hotel is within easy walking distance to dining options and main train station. At $250 / night, a bit over-priced. The rooms (uneven numbers) are noisy due to facing the railway tracks. Try to avoid those when booking a room. Disappointing that there was no fitness center.

A standard business hotel with a small bar in the reception and a breakfast area. We stayed here with our 5 month old and found the room a little tight. They do not have any cots for children but the pull out sofa was fine for our little one (when he wasn't between us!). The rooms are clean and pretty quiet considering you are on a main road near the train station. Easy access to public transport and a short walk from the old town. The hotel car park is a little pricey and they only have a few s... Read more

Only stayed one night for business. The room was fine. Clean and functional and nice size. The bedding was OK. My room looked out on the railroad tracks. It was a bit noisy when the window was open, but OK when closed. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the main train station (U and S Bahn) and a 10 minute walk into the old town area. There is free WiFi, good breakfast and a nice bar. Not sure about other amenities.

My husband and I enjoyed this hotel. The staff was very nice. The hotel was super clean.... Modern.... It looks new although the receptionist said the hotel is two years old. The breakfast is pretty much typical Holiday Inn Express type food but my husband and I were satisfied with our breakfast meal. For a stay over in Nuremberg, this is an economical place to strongly consider!

Clean, safe hotel at the edge of Old Town, just two blocks from the railway station. Easy to walk to the castle. A few minutes walk to all sorts of restaurants including beer gardens. Breakfast was complimentary and delicious
