Not so expensive. I think it's a good value for money. Rooms not so big but clean. You can reach the most important places on foot - Oktoberfestplatz as well as the city center and main market. In the neighbourhood there are lots of restaurants. You can go to a italian one to eat breakfast - I recommend it.

Hotel is near the center. Maybe this and the kind personnel are the only good things. It's in Turkish neighborhood where it's very noisy. People start to work before 6am which is annoying on Saturday. The room was small and old with strange smell from the toilet. Except bad environment in and outside the hotel, the personnel is really kind and helpful. They know English and work fast. In summary: It's good for one night but if you are planning vacation spent more money for better hotel

location is good to get around munich or the oktoberfest if your coming for that but hotel is noisy and there is no wifi in the rooms although they tell you there is or its because there are too many people on the wifi. good for a couple of nights if you just need a bed and are not bothered about anything else

Paying expensive prices for staying three nights we were extremely disappointed in our cramped, dark room with dripping tap. Our first night there, we only had one towel. When we asked for two I was given a bath mat. When I asked again for a towel I was told there were none till the next day. Tea and coffee advertised as being available at front reception. When I asked for cups to make said tea I was told they had none. Go figure!!! Ran out of tissues. Not replaced. Husbands room card had to be ... Read more

The location is central and with mine 44 yrs I guess that location is better for younger audience. Good thing about location is that its close to the main trainstation and some of the party zone. Arrived and got room after a journey in a slow elevator. The room was clean enough but had this door frame between bathroom and bedroom I banged my head in....The bed was very small. So price vs standard was not good in my opinion , Wifi was indicative in place not practically in my room... So Munich is... Read more

I stayed at Smart Hotel Schweiz twice in the last two weeks when interviewing for jobs. First of all: this is not a great hotel, it's a very basic one. My single room was quite small and not excactly super modern. However, in a city where you can easily end up paying 30+ Euro for a bed in a 10-bed dorm this place is a blessing as it's inexpensive (for Munich standards) and super centrally located. It's literally a five minutes walk from Munich main station, probably about 10 minutes on foot to t... Read more

We didn't expected a lot of this hotel. It wasn't expensive. Not far from the city center. Breakfast wasn't too bad. And here the positive ends. The room wasn't verry clean. There was a smell in the bathroom. I had to see the reception for toilet paper. When taken a shower, I remarked there was no soap. The staff isn't friendly. Will we come back? No way!

Stayed here in August 2016 with a friend in a twin room for 2 nights. Hotel was in a good location, just a couple of minutes walk from the main central station with shops, restaurants and bars around. There was free wifi at the hotel, you have to ask at reception for codes to login. We were on the second floor, the wifi was a bit slow but could get on it most of the time. What I would say wasn't good about the hotel was it was filthy... I'm a pretty messy person and I don't mind a bit of dirt. H... Read more

The hotel is more of a hostel with a private bathroom, the room was small and the beds are firm. The windows were pretty much soundproof so noise wasn't a concern. The pillows were very flimsy, we requested a second and was told this was not possible. When we checked the bathroom there was male hair from shaving all over the sink and mirror. At least there was a bath, this is our 6th stop and first bath we have seen. The hotel is situated on what appears to be a dodgy street (strip club, kebabs... Read more

Reasonable price and you get what you pay. Cheap staying, close by Hauptbahnhof and not far from city center. Free Wi-Fi in rooms when asked. For balancing that, small and bit messy room and colourfull and lively neighborhood where you maybe don't want be alone out at the night-time.

We stayed here as the final spot in our Euro Trip, found out after 3 cities that one of the best places to stay is at an hotel near the centrail subway station and we didn't miss with this one. The place is small, nice, clean and it's affordable if you are in for a private room with a shower and don't want to mess with hostels. Would recommend to friends on a budget.

First and foremost, the room can't be called entirely clean, there was dust here and there, the bathroom floor definitely wanted some extra washing. The neighbourhood is middle-eastern but overall quiet and peaceful, especially bearing in mind that the railway station is 2 blocks away. On the "pros" side, I should remark that girls at reception are extremely nice and helpful, speaking at least 4 languages. The downtown can be reached on foot in about 15 minutes of casual walk. The closest subwa... Read more

Walking distance to the beer festival, train station and loads of shops. Centrally located. Staff seemed more interested in their own activities and conversations. (Bordering on arrogant, rude and unhelpful). Rooms are very small and so are the bathrooms (but so were expensive hotels in the area)

Nice small hotel with quick access to train station. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Unfortunately the Internet did not work on one of my two stays, therefore only a 4-star rating. Would be nice to have breakfast included but sure enough a good option to stay at near the heart of Munich.

The hotel rooms are really dark and dank. When we first arrived the room had a strong smell of cleaning spray. The beds are not that comfortable and the bathrooms are old. Wifi only worked on one device at a time. The location is close to the station, but out of the heart of Munich. It didn't have the feel we were after for our trip, there were always heaps of people smoking, drinking and spitting on the street corners. Wouldn't stay here again.
