best thing is breakfast and food in general. the rooms and bathrooms are clean, however, furniture is quite old-fashioned or maybe just old. used the garage to park my car, quite narrow but i got it ;)

What is it about German hotels and claiming they have double rooms which are ALWAYS twins?! Really frustrates me! The breakfast here is very good although you'd rather expect that for ‚?¨15 PP. The rooms were clean and large, easily warm enough in winter. An attraction for me was the wellness spa, but persons staying at the hotel only get 10% off which is not what I was led to believe. Very friendly and helpful staff, and good location (as long as you're happy to get the tram/bus from the train)... Read more

We stayed there for one night only and found everything perfect. We checked-in quite late in the night (about 23:00hrs) but the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was quite big and Quiet for a city hotel. it had a balcony too!! It was quite clean and well-done. Well located and easy to had a big double bed with twin mattresses. Everything was good.

If you need to use their wifi - then DONT BOTHER going there. The absolute worst internet Ive had - and Ive been to the jungles of Africa. Shame!!! Its 2016 Vitalis - FIX this. Tortoise slow and disconnects after a few minutes. It's unbelievable!

I just completed a European trip where I stayed in a number of places in a bunch of cities. It started off I arrived at midnight and the elderly gentlemen behind the counter was very snarky and borderline rude. The room was equilivent to an overnight train car with a tv and a small cot. There was not even a chair to sit on only the cot. I am glad I arrived at midnight and went to a music festival the next day for 12 hours so little to no time was spent at this hotel. Internet was not free and... Read more

A short twenty minute walk from the Olympic Stadium, it was the perfect place to stay for our Paul McCartney concert. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The personal were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was awesome and the restaurant was beautiful. We shall return!

The room cleaner was a bit too eager to make the room up and woke me up every morning when I would have preferred to sleep in a bit. Also, there was no "Do Not Disturb" sign to hang on the door. Other than that it was a nice hotel with good rooms and facilities.

My family and me stay in this hotel one day and we aren't impresed with hotel and staff. When we checked out staff were half an hour checked my payment and they lost my bag.Moja familija i ja smo odseli u ovom hotelu jedan dan i nismo bili impresionirani sa smestajem i osobljem.Kada smo se odjavljivali oni su pola sata proveravali moju uplatu i izgubili su nam torbu.

We found Hotel Vitalis as a last minute fix on We were extremely happy, so happy that we extended our stay from a one night 'whatever we can get' to stay for the entire 4 nights we had in Munich. We weren't sure that they would be able to accommodate us for the subsequent nights and were thrilled that they were able to keep us in the original room. I was also very happy that they gave us the price that we booked the room for online for the subsequent nights also. I was expecting ... Read more

Title says it all - this hotel has no air conditioning. Zero. It gets damn hot in those rooms, even with the windows open. A side effect of windows being open is noise. I was on the 7th floor but it was still really loud Internet didn't work for first night. "Someone else redeemed this code" error. After coming in from a long flight, I really needed to send out some work emails. I couldn't and it was extremely frustrating. Even when I did get it working, the connection was not good The people ... Read more

Came here with two other friends for a trip to Munich in mid-June and overall the experience wasn't stunning but wasn't bad value for the price. Located a fair while away from the city the hotel is close to an S-Bahn station and which on Munich's good public transport system allowed relatively easy access across the city. The rooms were large enough, they did have some odd quirks about them though such as the door instead of opening into the room opened out into the hallway and there was a lip... Read more

Room was clean and fairly standard for a modern day budget hotel. Staff were friendly and all seemed to speak good English, despite what other reviewers are saying. The location isn't fantastic, however, Hohenzollernplatz station is around a 10 minute walk away and a group ticket on the U-bahn for a few days is only around ‚?¨30. The hotel does have its own restaurant and bar, but these seemed a little on the pricey side. The hostel across the road has a much cheaper bar. The (free) WiFi was goo... Read more

Clean, all new furnished, 3 minutes from station, nice view, large room, and very cheap for 4 stars hotel. You can bring your kids without any other cost, so many clues information for tourist on the reception floor. Also, the receptionist are good in English.

We've stayed in this hotel before found it OK given our budget so decided to book again this year and so did but it was via the now defunct Low Cost Holidays which we were informed by the hotel that this wasn't a problem as they'd received payment but then on further investigation they changed there minds and now it wasn't a confirmed booking. We told the hotel that this was fine as our bank and insurance would cover if we could have at the original price. The answer was NO and by the way it'll ... Read more

Spent a long weekend in Munich, and stayed at The Vitalis Hotel. If all you are looking for is a place to rest your head after a day enjoying the delights that the city of Munich has to offer, then this hotel would be 'good enough'. Currently undergoing a programme of re-furbishment, with circa 60% of their rooms already upgraded. Having had the misfortune to stay in one of the non-refurbished rooms you must insist on having a refurbished room - the original rooms are dreadful ! The new rooms a... Read more

Not close to anything within walking distance, you will need good legs, a bike, or Uber. Nothing remarkable about accommodations, OK, clean, safe neighborhood. Got a good deal on the price, but afterwards felt that I had gotten what I payed for.

I stayed here for 3 nights when I took a short trip in Munich with my family. The location is quite far from the city but we did not care where it was located as we had our days planned and had our car. Parkings costs 15 euros per night in a super cramped parking. To enter with the car there -OMG. You need real skills. As our car is quite bit it took 10 minutes to do 10 meters, as the road also goes in a spiral. Breakfast was rich and nice and they always refilled it when there was something mi... Read more

We stayed in a quad suite/room. It had two comfortable single beds pushed together to make a king and a sofa bed(definitely not as comfortable). As an economical hotel, we were very pleased with the value and cleanliness. Rooms were well maintained and up to date. Was great to have our own washroom in room, mini-fridge and balcony. Fabulous breakfast included with room charge. Great access to transportation services. Would highly recommend!
