Customer service was excellent and very friendly. Lobby was very helpful for new travellers and breakfast was tasty, even though a bit pricey. Location was good, only 2km from city center Marienplatz and almost next to Paulaner brewery restaurant. Also short walking distance to a nearby S-bahn station, so easy to travel anywhere. If breakfast doesn't interest you, there is a few cafes serving breakfast(früstück) which were very tasty. Convenience store Tengelmann was nearby, and the phone app ... Read more

A good hotel. I stayed for Oktoberfest. The hotel provided all the basic stuff: clean rooms, free wi-fi (a little bit shaky), bathroom amenities, and comfortable bed. TV is definitely way too small (at least in my room). The breakfast is good: they have several options. Nice 10 minute walk to the S-Bahn Rosenheimer Platz. The staff is very helpful with directions and time table for the train. Would have preferred a more modern decor and cards instead of the key -- but in a way, it is part of the... Read more

The hotel is a bit forgettable - clean rooms and friendly staff, but nothing more to brag about. These are not rooms you enjoy, just plain rooms to sleep in. We paid a very high fare during the Octoberfest (which admittedly is an expensive period). The area is mostly residential and quiet with the city centre in walking distance (some kilometers).

Quiet neighbourhood, but was still walking distance to the town centre. We didn't find any restaurants within the immediate area, but within 10 minutes walk we found some nice local spots. We went to a place called Klinglwirt, which had a nice atmosphere and good Bavarian food. The room was a decent size and very tidy. Good value for money. Our room looked out over trees, which go down to the river making for a lovely, peaceful view.

I visited while waiting for my apartment to be ready. The infrastructure is simple and clean, but the real strong point of the hotel is the professional, accurate and reliable staff and the great breakfast, that does not miss any of the delicacies you may wish in the morning. The place is calm, but if you're extra-sensitive to the minimum noise, avoid first floor. Some cars passage can be heard. Enjoy!

Chose this hotel after panicking and canceling an Airbnb so it was very last minute, it was one of the last hotels still available. The hotel had a very helpful staff, especially on one of the days when we came late for the breakfast buffet and the cook made us our own delicious egg breakfast for the same price as the buffet! That was a total highlight and definitely a perk of staying at the hotel. However we came in August so it was fairly warm in Munich but extremely hot in our rooms, especial... Read more

The hotel is small; usually there is 1 person in the staff during the day/night; maybe two at breakfast time. They deal with check ins, make you a snack if you order room service, they do it all. Marina was of great help! Well beyond her duties! The hotel is clean, set in a quiet street and neighborhood; and very quiet itself. My sister got an room upgrade without having to pay extra, and were also accommodating when we needed to check out a few hrs later than 11am!

It is nice every now and then to pick a hotel that does not belong to the big chains. They are always more personal. So is Hotel Prinz. It is located about 20 minutes by foot from the old town on Munich. Weather was nice so no problem to walk. Rooms functional with the basics. Internet was working perfect during our stay. Big entrance hall, if you can call it that, where there was lots of space for bags, clothes and shoes so you don't need that by the bed. Bathroom was a bit dated, but clean. ... Read more
