By way of background, I am a heavy business traveller and I have stayed across all major chains and several boutique hotel properties in Europe, Asia and the Americas. I am a Hilton Silver Card holder and have been to a few of the properties in the US and in Europe over the past 18 months. The Hilton Park is nicely located if you work for one of the adjacent banks or if you want access to the beer gardens nearby. If you want access to the city and sights, there are much better choices in Munic... Read more

I stayed here for 3 nights. It delivers a good though not outstanding quality. I was in Room 337. Spacious, clean and enough space for clothes. During the nights I heard strange noises like some heavy luggages rolling endlessly. I had problems with the wifi signal, too. Otherwise it's a good hotel for business travellers. A bit far from the center but close to the English Garden.

I stayed there for one night during a business trip. It's in a quiet area directly on a small river with a view over woods and parts of the city. The rooms are very spacious and of course clean. I tried some dinner from the room service menu but this had definitely room for improvement (a soup which contained mainly meat and potatoes and close to no soup at all and a buffalo mozzarella with some strange tomatoes). The gym is equipped very well with great quality machines - perfect! The breakfast... Read more

This is an older Hotel, but the staff itself is to a very high standard. Also at heart of English Garden for nice walks in the park, but in easy reach to city center by tram (18 or 38). Only 7 stops or 12 minutes to the center. The only not up to standard is the food at the restaurant on ground floor, but the rest is worth the visit with beautiful views to park. Free Wi-fi for Hilton members. Enjoy your stay and walks in the Garden.

Closeby bus + underground train to Marien Platz, and nice to walk in the park when weather is favorable. Breakfast has excellent variety and nice view of the river. Only downside was pool/sauna/spa being closed for 2 weeks of repairs. If you can get Executive Club access, it has an excellent happy hour, though it can be full of guests.

Primary reason we picked this hotel was because of the swimming pool - going against a colleague's assertion that it was 'miles from anywhere'. Our 3 year old wanted to 'swim all weekend' but problems with the pool mean it has been shut since we arrived on Friday - despite initially being told it would be opened on Saturday afternoon. It's still shut on Sunday morning as I write. Reception desk said they would 'pay our entry to another pool'. After suggesting they should also pay our transport ... Read more

I really enjoyed this Hilton location. As a Gold Hilton Honors member, I stay in many Hilton properties but I found this one better than your usual Hilton hotel. Lobby was nice and spacious for waiting for colleagues in the morning or having a last minute conversation in the evening after dinner. The rooms were nice, clean and spacious. I stayed in the 10th floor in room number 1036 which was near the end of the hallway so it was quiet and had a nice view of the gardens. My favorite part, th... Read more

This is a luxurious and glitzy hotel. Rooms are small but adequate, with very modern facilities. It is just a few minutes walk to the English Gardens which is simply breath taking. Spending a few afternoons in summer weather, enjoying the beer and strolling is simply heaven. Locals toboggan through the river, and if you walk further out and head towards the city you notice many people rafting down the river in various sections. Close by is also a small river-side beach which is beautiful. The w... Read more

How about wifi that connects and disconnects and if connected is very slow. And the hotel is nicely located in a park area, but that means there are few options for restaurants, no nearby stores, and mostly you will need to take cabs. Oh, and one of our party was told he had no reservation, but that was only because the trai... Read more

I have stayed three nights in this hotel. The hotel is good for business stay but it is not gd to enjoy ur vacation. The free wifi is very slow. I did not like it. The room service serve a different type of food. They took a long time to serve the breakfast. You should order it before at least 30 mins.

This was my first time in Munich. I stayed at this hotel for more than a week because my father did an operation on his back. I did not like Munich and I did like the hotel. Nice rooms. The location was very good. The price was fine. The service was good. I did walk around the hotel. It was the right hotel for the time period. The hotel is family friendly and the staff are used to families who are coming in with hospital guests. Enjoy your stay. Best regards. Dr SD 2016.

There were some nice touches with this hotel as we are Hilton card holders. Our room on the 7th floor had a nice view of the park and just a few minutes walk to the park beer garden. Room was comfortable with all the bits you'd expect from a hotel of this size.

An exceptionally good experience here. The amenities are high quality as you expect from Hilton, however it is the staff here that made our stay exceptional. They always had a smiles on their faces, were helpful, and made us feel important.

Very nice hotel with beautiful accoutrements. The Pauliner Pub has a nice Bavarian atmosphere, great food & lots of beer varieties. Most staff have a working knowledge of English. The breakfast buffet has everything you could possibly want with very efficient staff. It is located in a busy section of the city with easy access to tourist attractions.

This is a five star hotel with 0 stars for its internet service and willingness to address the problem. Front deck, business center and IT all acknowledge it is very serious and yet can do nothing about it. Very unlike the behavior of a service-oriented chain.

BMW has agreements with several hotels near the BMW Welt, which is where one takes European delivery of a BMW purchased in the States or elsewhere. We chose this hotel for the price and convenience. Our room was comfortable, and the staff was pleasant and helpful. This hotel appears to cater to Muslim families and has set aside two salons as prayer rooms. Outside the restaurant is a tent with numerous houkas (hookas) that is frequented in the evenings.

We stayed two nights during Oktoberfest. We had a room on the Executive Floor. The room is spacious with a balcony and nicely refurbished. The bathroom is still old with a bath tube and no separate shower. The highlights is certainly the location in the English park (14 Euros with taxi to the city), the spacious gym and the large breakfast buffet. The downsides are: - very slow free internet in the whole hotel - the Executive Lounge is very busy during Happy Hour (18-20) when they offer free al... Read more

I do not expect every Hilton to be the Mandarin Oriental in Bangkok. As usual, I read all the TA terrible reviews. However, the folks at the reception desk were polite and friendly. It is an older refurbished property, but the room was bright and clean and appropriate size. Bathroom smallish but serviceable. Balcony w good view of English Gardem. The Peoples Bar was popular and a fun way to end the evening. Good friendly service. However, housekeeping was erratic. 1 small bar of soap for 2 ad... Read more

Nice hotel, plenty of amenities, good location for the English Gardens. Bit of a trek to city centre, but hotel is well served by easy transit. Try to get breakfast included in your rate, food and drink is somewhat steep (at least from my perspective).

I have stayed at this hotel a number of times. This is a very nice and a very international hotel. Rooms are spacious and have a high standard. The workout facilities are great and they are open 24 hours. Service is friendly and focused. I can only recommend this hotel and I will most certainly go there again. The right evaluation would have been 4.5....;-)

But the staff flatly refused saying that they don't have camera's at that location

This is simply a great business hotel for corporate travellers. Superb room with great views and also a very spacious bathroom with all the requisite amenities. The hotel is accessible from the airport as well as the convention centre by bus and by train. There is bus and tram station as soon as one gets out. The best part is the English Gardens which is a stones throw from the hotel and it gives access to the Marienplatz as well as other attractions. The breakfast place is next to a rivulet ... Read more

This is your standard business hotel. The food here was actually superb. Try the USDA steak in their restaurant, it went toe to toe with $80 an oz wagyu from a fancy Beverly Hills restaurant. Definitely check out the English Garden as well. I would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

One of my favorite hotels in Munich when I come for business, mainly due to its location next to the English Garden and the Isar allowing for fantastic runs and walks in the morning/evenings. The facilities are "Hilton-standard", meaning the rooms and cozy and clean and provide anything you need. You can even get some great views when you are on the upper floors. We were a little disappointed on the extra cost of breakfast so ate out, I think this should be included? Would use again but hood they take comments on board.

A large, luxurious hotel on the edge of the city and right opposite the English Garden. It's definitely set up for events and conferences but a good choice regardless for Munich with a short walk to a great Italian restaurant and to a tram stop for central Munich. It's not a cheap option, but maintains Hilton standards - with an occasionally frustrating wifi signal which doesn't seem to have got rid of all of the problems of a few years ago.
