Location, location, location. Hilton Munich Airport is without a doubt the best located hotel for anyone flying out of or in transit from Munich Airport. Best location, but in no way the best hotel - if you're willing to spend ten minutes in a hotel shuttle, which is what I'd think most could stretch to, there are far better hotels to be found. I came here for a one-night stay, leaving early the next morning on business. While the atrium with palm trees may seem impressive, it's actually very m... Read more

Beautiful glass and steel hotel at the airport and the staff was super helpful and nice during the check-in and check-out process. I'm a HH member and I was upgraded to a king room on request (thanks!). Room was a little dated - stained carpet, holes in the curtains - but more than adequate for some good rest. I'd stay there again simply based on convenience.

I stayed at the Hilton Munich Airport on a recent trip to the Bavarian city. I will get the cons out of the way first. The rooms have no view, obviously since the hotel is part of the airport complex itself. Also, being part of the airport means it is really far from the main city. On the pros of this hotel, it's a Hilton. So obviously the rooms are superb. I got bumped up to a junior suite overlooking the main courtyard of the airport between terminals 1 and 2. For a short trip where you won'... Read more

Stayed here one night before an international flight. Staff is extremely helpful and all seem very happy. Rare to find these days. Very easy to find the hotel and great location if connecting to a flight. Rooms are a bit dated. Furniture needs replacing in the room I was in. Also the bar area furniture is old. Bar area service is very good but arrangement in open in the middle of an "airport like" hall is a odd and could use something to separate it from the rest of the arrival area. Food in th... Located between terminals so very handy for morning flights. Rooms are spacious and of the usual quality you expect from the Hilton. Very quiet even though you are in the airport. We had dinner in the bar ( you could choose from the bar menu or the restaurant menu) and the food was very good.

For our 17-hour layover in Munich, this hotel proved to be the perfect option. It's at the airport, just a few steps out the main exit and within a 3 minute walk to to the high-speeds train that can whisk to to the Marienplatz for some tourist action. We flew in from Croatia at 6:30 pm, and were checked-in to the hotel and on the train for dinner at the Hofbrauhaus by 7:30 (it was a 45 minute train ride). After a long-haul intercontinental trip we did not wish to adventure directly into town with all our bags, so we opted to stay directly in the airport at the Kempinski. No transport needed, just roll your trolley to the immense glass hall where the reception is. Of course, a very international oriented (and young, many are hotel school students) staff will welcome you and provide you all the necessary information and help. Hotel location made it easy to get to our plane in the morning by merely walking to the terminal.

Great Service and excellent accommodations. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location especially to Terminal 2 was unbeatable. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Finally, the complimentary breakfast buffet at the restaurant was very good and quite extensive. It was a nice hotel with spacious rooms, but is pale in comparison to the Frankfurt Airport Hilton. The ala carte in minimal in the restaurant, and the buffet is over 50 euros ($55) a head. The breakfast is a little cheaper, but neither is worth the price. First the hostess tried to tell us to place our luggage is a non secured area while we eat. Not happening! From the moment we arrived at the hotel we were treated as honored guests, and we observed that the staff was always ready to assist guests in any way. Our room was spacious, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast option to order ala carte instead of the huge buffet was welcome. Even though this hotel is located between Terminal 1 and 2 we were provided a shuttle to the departures area of our airline. A VIP experience from start to finish.

Wi-fi is for free in the lobby, very good, fast enough. Great breakfast. Convenient location to the airport, but you can not hear anything when sleeping. Mr. Boujemaa Lahloumi, one of the hotel's valets, drove him to the nearby pharmacy and assisted him with conveying his symptoms to the pharmacist. Average hotel with a bland corporate feel, but not unpleasant and perfect for a convenient stay if you have an early flight. Breakfast opens early and the hotel kindly accommodated my dietary requirements. I used the gym facilities, which were modern and clean and didn't seem to be used much - perhaps because there are very few signs showing where to go. You need to follow the signs for the 'pool' and only once you are more or less there do signs for 'fitness studio' appear.

I booked this hotel because of my honors status and its proximity to the airport for our flight the next morning but it was much more than I expected. First of all it isn't just near the airport, it's IN the airport. It couldn't have been more convenient to return our car and just walk upstairs. We quickly regretted having eaten in town because there was a lovely restaurant with a bribe for extra Hilton points if we spent 50â?¬. For various reason I found I had many hours before a flight out of Munich airport, and while the airport precinct is excellently served by shops and restaurants, I did not want to sit at a bar for 6 hours. I got a day room - ~8am until 6pm- having walked in right out of the subway station. The hotel does not have an Executive lounge, but to make up for it the minibar was free in our room. Breakfast was stunning! Great service and true Bavarian fayre mixed with... Read more

Good hotel for a stopover, right at the airport (a few minutes from the terminal). Clean, efficient, great staff, and we slept well in the comfortable room. Everything you need for an airport hotel. Wifi was quick too. Only thing is that the hotel is in a big conference hall, weird atmosphere and lights. However, we had a quiet sleep so everything was fine.

A beautiful property in the chain of Hilton. Very conveniently located to the Terminals and restaurants. We left from Terminal 1, but the hotel shuttle took us right to it the next morning (less than 3 minute drive). After a two week trip around Europe this hotel was just what we needed on our last night. The supper buffet was amazing and delicious. Everyone spoke english and we even had english speaking channels on the TV!

This is not a luxury hotel by any means, but perfect for the traveller who is taking a flight the next morning, but directly connected to Terminal 2 at Munich Airport, with easy access to the S Bahn and DB Bahn as well. Nice and helpful staff; right next to the rental car pickup/return area as well. Modern, clean rooms with good security keys and elevators, room safe, nice bathrooms, and plenty of places to put your luggage. They also have a nice bar in the massive hangar-like lobby and a cre... At the checkin they apologized already for some noise due to construction work, apparently it is between 9am and 6pm. Unfortunately they started drilling holes in the room next to me at 7:32 A M !!!! This is disrespectful and not acceptable for 400 Euro a night!!!!! Don't go there!! Try to get some information about the construction before you book!!

The location of this hotel is the key! Directly on the airport property. Arriving from a 7-8 hour international flight doesn't set you up for a good car driving mindset. Nor does returning the car for an early morning flight out. Staying here is a small way to remove simple stress points in my travel. Fight jet lag, and get a good rest before the flight home by not trying to return a car at 3 am. The food and shopping at the property is a nice distraction also - if you can make the time. Rooms a... Read more

I first stayed at this hotel when it was a Kempinski property. I was impressed by the staff then, but unfortunately not happy with the quality of the room. I have stayed there twice more since then, as while expensive, the location can't be beat. It is just outside the Terminal 2 exit door, which makes overnight extended time between flight connections easier to manage overall. It is connected to the terminal, and just a two minute walk. The staff is accommodating, and check in is typically... Read more

Stayed here 2 nights for convenience of airport. From what i could tell these rooms have had some updating but furnishings are still dated. While works still continue expect to be woken by hammering at 7am every morning. The food from room service was average. The reasons why this got an average and not a poor were its staff were friendly and helpful and its location is to good to pass us as its actually at the airport 2 minute wlk from terminal 2.

the location is the only thing going for this hotel; finding it from the next-door arrivals hall is almost impossible, very confusing; check-in was very efficient, although I assume this is because of my late arrival; most unacceptable of all is the fee for Wi-Fi...At an era when even the lowest establishments now offer free wi-fi, high "high end" hotel with $300 a night rooms must provide free internet; and do not sign up for $40 breakfast!!!!!..There are other eateries once you step out and in... We were bumped from our flight to the USA becfause of plane tech problems and had to stay overnight. We chose the Hilton as I am a loyal Hilton Honors Gold Member. The staff were very helpful to two weary travelers. My husband is moderately handicapped, and the staff were very accommodating and swift to fulfill our needs. The food both room service and restaurant was surprisingly good for an airport hotel. We would stay here again, if in Munich.

Stayed here when arriving late at the airport. A bit tough to find it when flying into the domestic terminal. Service was impeccable and free upgrade to a suite as a Hilton Honors member. Bartenders were a lot of fun to talk to. Expansive breakfast spread and convenient to pick up the rental car the next morning. Would definitely stay here again.

Despite some works of renovation, Hilton Munich Airport is a very convinient Hotel for early flights, big rooms, well furnished and the airport "Center" gives you all the services needed. Transportation to Munich in the center and during Christmas big events.

Rooms in this hotel are advertised to be renovated. None of that was visable in my room. I asked for a King size bed and nome came avaiable even on a weekend when the hotel appeared to be quiet. THe air-conditioning was blasting either too cold or too hot. That would be number one for me, especially in the winter ...

Airport hotels are such a treat after a week or more of traveling and when you have a morning transatlantic flght on a packed plane staring you in the face. The Hilton hotel at MUC is also a delightful place. Wonderfully convenient, it also has a large open glass aircraft-hanger-like lobby /bar with a wonderfully-friendly-without-being-bothersome bartender, an expansive breakfast buffet, and a fabulous swimming pool. The rooms are large and nicely furnished and with wonderfully comfortable be... Read more

Stayed here for convenience as it's literally in the airport. I had a superior room with garden view (not really a garden but it was a decent view) which was sizeable and very clean. Good wifi (free if you join a 'club' for free). On site restaurant and bar service surprisingly good. Have the signature veal of you get a chance.

I would like to say the hotel continues to recognize the loyalty of their members. I have been a Diamond member with HH for sometime and I have witness a downward spiral at many of their properties. But I can say that Hilton Munich Airport has upheld the HH values. For example there were no question of would you like your points or breakfast as a Diamond member I received both. I asked if they had a lounge for their guess the young lady stated unfortunately we do not. But we allow our HH members... Read more

You can walk right out from Munich airport and it is 200m to the hotel. It is convenient. There are lots of options in Munich, but the airport is a good distance from downtown Munich and for the airport, it is very convenient. There is a pool and gym at the airport. Good breakfast buffet as well.

I rate this hotel as a 5 based on the fact that it is an airport hotel. We were fortunate to check in early and be able to enjoy all of the facilities and services of the hotel. We spent a couple of hours by the indoor pool, had drinks and food and then used the tanning bed. Had great drinks at the enormous lobby bar. The hotel is a very short walk to stores, an outdoor ice skating rink and a Xmas Mart. The staff was friendly and accommodating. This hotel is not inexpensive but it is worth... Read more

Consistent with full service Hiltons the room was clean and bed and towels comfortable. Surprisingly quiet given its adjacent to the airport. Minimal disturbance from aircrafts. The lobby/lounge is very cool looking....high glass windows and coloured lights with an airline hangar feel. Staff are very polite. And location being literally feet from the terminal is convenient for the business traveller.

We just stayed one night before leaving the following morning for a flight back to the US. The room was fantastic! Really big, almost like an Embassy Suite room, but even nicer. Lots of really great amenities, like separate tub and shower, and a top notch in room coffee machine. The TV was huge, with an large selection of channels. Our room service was excellent and efficient. We also needed bedding for the fold out sofa bed, which was delivered promptly and set up in 30 seconds. Lastly, they of... Read more
