We chose this hotel as it is a 10 minute walk from the train station,it was but the huge station has several exits so check. We upgraded to a superior room which was well worth it we had a spacious modern room on the 5floor with a balcony and a good view. There was a nepresso machine ,hoorah!Comfortable bed and good shower .The staff were very friendly and helpful .Not high end luxury but great value.

Nice hotel with very friendly staff. everything was clean and comfortable with some interesting decor. The car park is secure but very tight to get in and out of. The ramp is tightly curved and quite narrow and some of the spaces have moveable parking ramps in front of them. The hotel is a short walk from the cetre and an abyndance of bars and restaurants.

It's becoming increasingly difficult to spot the difference between the Ibis and Mercure brands of the Accor chain. This "Mercure Art" was perhaps an attempt to match the innovations of the Ibis Styles brand with some fancy touches, but rather failed on some of the basics. Although a Double Room with a double bed they decided to only provide a single duvet for those wanting single occupancy. Perhaps this would work in warmer weather, but a cold snap in May exposed the policy to the elements - l... Read more

We arrived without a booking having looked on the Internet. A double room was being offered at Euro 93.00 only to be told the same room rate was Euro 115.00. If we wanted to use the underground carpark this would also cost Euro 12.00. The friendly receptionist explained that from 18:00 to 09:00 the street parking was for free and as we were going to the Zoo the next day the parking at the Zoo would cost Euro 6.00 for the whole day. Breakfast was also at an additional cost. The hotel was qu... Read more

Room was spacious, oriented to the yard, so got not disturbed by the traffic. The bathroom well designed and decorated. Comfortable stay. The breakfast choice was OK, just the price of 15 EUR was more than I expected. Waking distance to old town. There is also nice Rosenthal park close to the hotel. Good hotel for runners

The Mecure hotel chain is piched at a market that is looking for modern practical good value comfort without u necessary frills and the nice to haves that you would expect at a more expensive price point. This hotel fits the expected profile. It's rooms are a step up fro Ibis a little more roomy with more storage. The breakfast is adequate and well presented with a menu piched to typical western tastes. Located just outside the old city about 15 minutes away from it and a similar distance from ... Read more

Located just outside of the city centre but within easy walking distance. Only 500 metres from the zoo - an ideal place to stay if visiting the zoo (which is excellent). Friendly and helpful staff and a good breakfast. Found the room a little cramped. Wifi worked okay. Parking in the hotel park is very tight and really only for small cars; we parked about 500 metres away in the zoo car park.

Our first stay in this Art Mercure hotel was very pleasant and comfortable. The location just minutes from the old town is convenient especially as we arrived by car and found ample street parking- free after 18:00. Breakfast buffet was very complete offering a large choice of fruit, cold cuts, cheeze and egs..... Our room was large, modern yet very comfortable. The service friendly and efficient. In short a hotel we will certainly return to!

Very disappointed the wifi did not work and the staff were not able to fix it in a reasonable time frame. This is just not acceptable for a hotel that is also used for business travel. No offer was made to compensate for the fact I had to go to another hotel to work. They just do not care.
