Excellent location across from the main train station. My only complaint was spotty wi-fi. When it was working it was fine to slow. When it was not working, it was frustrating. I was using an iPad and IPhone.

I travel frequently on Businesss to Hamburg and was excited to see the famous Reichshoff converter to a Curio Hilton hotel. I like this hotel as it has a comfortable feel. The Lobby is wonderful and a great place to gather. The bar is cute and fun with occasional live music. The breakfast is the best in Hamburg. The rooms are a bit slop but so are most other German hotel rooms. I recommend an upgrade if you want more space than a bed and a few feet around the bed for your living area.

We stayed here for 4 nights at the end of May and so glad we booked the Reichshof. First trip to Hamburg so was relying on reviews for choice and after I booked was a little worried as one reviewer mentioned a basic room on 6th floor but needn't have worried. We had a nice queen room on 2nd floor, it was at the back so no view which may disappoint some people but I have learned on a city break this is best as it's always quieter so a better nights sleep! Great location, quiet room even in the central of the town. There are many bakeries around and restaurants. With less than 10 euro, you could expect very good breakfast with great choice. This hotel is in a great location - right next to the central station and very close to the centre for shopping and sight seeing. However, this could be in a dessert and I would drive to it! It has recently been taken over by the Curio brand (Hilton) and been completely refurbished with the highest quality and is very current. There is a modern funky bar serving cocktails and food and then a New England style bar with dark wood and green leather seats with fabulous cocktails made by a cocktail m... Read more

We stayed here for one night on our way to catch a ship. Good location across from the Hauptbanhoff; you can walk to the hotel. Also good location on the edge of the cool St. George district. The lobby, bar & restaurant are beautiful and a pleasure to sit in. We were assigned to a tiny room with no view, poor wifi and anemic air conditioning. Normally the A/C would not be a problem, but the hotel is over-heated. So in the end it was only an average stay and I'm not sure if we would return... Read more

No ice machines on the floor so had to ask the bar staff in lobby which makes u wait even though it's 5 secs for a glass of ice. Other than that, check in great experience.....

We had a lovely time here. The location can't be beaten. Especially when your flights are delayed and you end up having to make your way to the hotel at midnight. It's directly over the road from Hamburg Bahnhoff. The main train station in Hamburg. It is like the hub of the city, it's all going on in the train station. Places to grab a beer, cheap food, takeaways, gift shops, police station, KFC, underground station. We had the most beautiful room, newly decorated. The hotel can't be faulted, br... Read more

I visited the lobby for meetings only - as this is where it's at, that is the feeling you get from the moment you step into the fantastic lobby. The most convenient location to visit Hamburg, right in the mix of theatres, bars, cafes, right around the corner of the ultra trendy St George precinct, this hotel is buzzing with vibe. Worth the stay especially due to its location and the Bar and Slowman Restaurant within the Hotel. Lacking a Sauna (Wellness-Area) is a big minus for a Hotel of that category though! Breakfast is decent but lacks a bit of variety! Overall a very satisfying stay with only minor things! Can be recommended for sure!

The location is nice, the lake and a big shopping area are a short walk. It is right across the street from the main train station which was great too. Our family of three stayed at the Reichshof in early July 2016, and were pleased. Some notable things about the hotel: - front desk staff was lovely; very nice, always willing to help. - the hotel, in my opinion, is "American style" because it is heavily air conditioned, and they use synthetic air freshener (I had to put the air freshener oil in our room in the laundry bag and seal it up for the duration of our stay. Don't forget to have a look inside Central Station (HBF) - it's a breathtaking railway station, more like a palace and one of Hamburg's monuments. We had 2 overnight stays here recently. I emailed them before the trip with questions and they were quick to respond. We booked the smallest room and neither was huge, but well organized, great bathroom and comfortable beds. The bar is lovely, like taking a step back in time. The restaurant is beautiful as well. We had dinner here our first stay and had hoped to enjoy it our second visit, but it was booked on our last night in Europe. We had room service instead, which worked out well, bu... Read more

The location is ok. The hotel is clean. The rooms are clean although smell stuffed all the time. Basically I was expecting a much nicer hotel and a better room for the price I paid. You can find hotels in Hamburg with similar quality but half price.

We stayed two times in August. This recently-restored and refurbished hotel looks superb and it's very conveniently located close by the Hauptbahnhof and all the sights. On our first stay we were allocated an inappropriately-named 'medium room' which was really small and looked out into a dull lightwell. On our return we stayed in a much more spacious room which was upgraded through our Diamond Hhonors membership. We loved breakfast at this hotel and the staff working there were welcoming an... The Curio is well positioned close to the main railway station. Easy walking distance to central Hamburg. I believe this hotel was built in 1912 but has has a major renovation recently. Rooms are lovely clean and modern whilst the hotel retains is historical charm. Recommended.

We've got a king medium room for just one night over the weekend. The room is well appointed, not big but fit comfortably for 2 adults and a young kid. Very basic amenities provided . A nespresso coffee machine provided in room. Great breakfast but can be a bit chaotic as there were many people during the weekend.

The hotel itself is one of the most beautiful I have stayed in, traditional, grand yet modern. From the modern and welcoming sushi bar in reception to the traditional 1920's saloon bar. The cocktails are incredible, the food is amazing and the staff go above and beyond and are second to none. Perfect location to explore this beautiful city on foot as well as being opposite the train station in order to get anywhere you want. I highly recommend this hotel it's in my top 5!

We stayed here for five days. Location was perfect. Nice friendly. At area. You can order cake, coffee, afternoon tea, sandwiches ect. Very comfortable . They also have a restaurant with a two or three servings. We had this. It was good. There are a few things gas you can order if you only want a meal but not so many things to choose from. The only thing I didn't find good, is that they have no business room. So if you want to print anything, than you have to send it to the hotel and ask the re... Read more

The Reichshof is a luxury hotel, but if you book ahead it can be quite affordable. Recently renovated, the public areas are done in the art deco style and are quite lovely. Our room was large and well appointed. Bathroom area was modern and clean. Breakfast was good and was served in the main restaurant area. We had one evening meal in the restaurant and would rate that as very good. Service was excellent in every way. The location is excellent for several reasons. Across from the main ... Read more

We stayed at the hotel for a weekend anniversary getaway. We arrived around 12pm and were told that our room would be available at 15hs, so we left our luggage and decided to have lunch. We came back at 15hs really wanting to rest after having walked a lot in the cold. But the room was not ready. So we waited in the lobby and at 15,30 my husband went to the front desk to ask again. We stayed here with my wife and her parents. It was easy to find from the main train station, and we really liked the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful to us throughout our stay. It was walking distance to many of the main attractions to the city and right on the train and bus lines from the main station for anything else. It has recently been renovated and the rooms are well-appointed. Each is unique. Breakfast in the restaurant has good local options. Rates were good with a prebooked, ... Read more

I have Stayed at this hotel for a business trip and I have worked for a few hours in the quiet area of the lobby: strongly recommended. Nice atmosphere, quiet music, free wifi and friendly staff made my work experience outside the office pleasant. The rooms are brand new with big bathroom and large beds. I recommend also the lounge bazar by the lobby for the cool ambiance and friendly staff.

Really nice place. Nice big modern lobby. Nice rooms. Good service. Good internet. Nice location - lot's of places to eat nearby - as well as the train station across the street. Staff are helpful. It's a boutique hotel. The silly cover band on the TV screens of the lobby should go though. That makes no sense and is horrible. Play the originals or something else. Breakfast is wonderful

My son and I like to stay in funky, boutique hotels when we travel to Europe. But when we needed a place to stay, close to the train station, we opted for something more straightforward. And that's certainly what we got. Nice sized rooms. Quiet. Pleasant. Good bed. Normal bathroom. I know these sound like simple things but you don't always get such normal accommodations in Europe. The only bad thing was that the air conditioning was poor. :-(

This hotel may have a great look and be in a fairly central location but do not be fooled. This hotel does not have the Hilton customer service that Hilton customers would expect! I was extremely disappointed with the level of customer service from the moment I got out of my taxi, no one to welcome you or ask if you need assistance with you bags right through checkout. We stayed 3 nights at the Reichshof Hamburg, Curio Collection and to be honest we are very disappointed with a few aspects of the hotel. But first the positive; The hotel is located in the centre of Hamburg and you can access all the sights/shopping area by foot, however during the evening it is a bit dodgy because it is located across the central station. I stayed this month a couple times in the Reichshof Hamburg. I was not a fan of Hilton HHonors and I stayed in the Park Hyatt when in in Hamburg. But I have to admit that they do a great job in this hotel and that they treat their Diamond Members very well. The property itself was remodeled with a high attention to detail. This is a grand historic hotel and that's a big part of the appeal. Lovely details like stained glass windows, marble staircases, and a spectacular dining room where a great Hilton breakfast is served. Staff was helpful and professional with the one exception of the morning that I left, the cab was late, there are no doormen to rectify the situation and the desk clerk at that hour didn't seem overly concerned about ensuring my ride to the airport.
