We chose a business hotel for our Easter trip to Hamburg. This hotel is very professional, everything works, the rooms are clean, the underground garage is spotless, well lit and locked at night, your car is safe. The breakfast buffet is excellent and the lobby bar is the place to be before retiring. There is a gym at the top floor with a reasonable selection of exercise contraptions. Be aware of one thing, even if the room rate seems low, parking and the breakfast buffet is not included in the ... Read more

Great place to stay, if you are going to the Haspa Marathon. Nice and clean hotel. Very good breakfaste-buffe. Near to many places. There were many different restaurants near the hotel. We would choose this hotel again, if we are comming back to Hamburg.

We stayed at Lindner for the weekend and were pleasantly surprised. The hotel has a nice atmosphere and is very well located for all the sights. Rooms are very clean and luxurious. Breakfast was very generous and delicious. A wide selection of breads, meats, sweats and freshly made omelets. That's all you need after a night of drinking German beer. Staff is very friendly and helpfull. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

We stayed here for a weekend stay. Nice hotel - newly decorated/build, german standard! Centrally located between both the city centre and Reeperbahn district. The hotel offered late check-outs and late breakfast for free, which is always great - if only more hotels did the same. Moreover, good and friendly service at the hotel in general.

We stayed in the Lindner during a one day business trip in Hamburg in May '16 and were very pleased with our overall experience. I was glad the hotel, although located so centrally, had a parking garage. The service at the reception was pleasant and the rooms clean, modern and comfortable. The city and Reeperbahn are within walking distance. It wasn't the cheapest but yet one shouldn't expect anything different when in Hamburg during a semi national holiday. So overall 4 solid stars.

Nice hotel rooms for this price, breakfast could be definetely cheaper. The location is good too - very centric, good in terms of conference facilities - all came smooth and with good service. The cleeaning of the room was not always perfect - forgot to bring amenities.

Went here for long weekend and it's a great base to explore all of Hamburg from. Old town and harbour are within easy walking distance. There is square (Grossneumarkt) around the corner which has many great restaurants and pubs. Brekfast is pricey but offers a vast selection and a very good gluten free section which not so easy to find in the many bakeries in the area.

The rooms have a solution with open bathroom, I think that is kind of cool. The shower is situated in the middle of the hotel room. This might frighten some, especially friends traveling together. As a couple, this was just cool. The breakfast was a bit overpriced with 23‚?¨.

I stayed here for a week while on a business trip. The hotel is actually down a side street away from the main road but it is still very quiet at night which made sleeping easy. The room was air conditioned with a big shower and a comfortable bed. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating and the bar was very handy for a bar snack when getting in late. The TV had plenty of channel (even some in English). The WiFi connection for the free internet was not so reliable as I could not get the s... Read more

The room was a bit warm and the aircon noisy. Despite that the room is nicely designed and have what you need. The location is 10 min walk from harbour and 10 min from city center. Appreciated the friendly staff and parking right under the hotel.

Booked this hotel at the last minute, but was very pleasantly surprised. The service was excellent. All the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The room was very nice, large and well appointed (no iron, though). The sauna, steam room and workout facility were fabulous; on the top floor with great views from the cool-down room. If all you want is a good night's sleep, this hotel is totally OK. Rooms are clean and roomy, beds are good. Staff are nice and healpful. It is unfortunately a very ugly modern building on an ugly, charmless street with a horrible, heavily trafficked avenue around the corner. But, on the upside, there is also a nice old square just in a back street, and there's a beautiful, quiet street round the other corner, with houses from the 1600-hundreds and a museum about the German Baroque masters. The room is nice and clean. It's pretty big room and the bed is comfortable. We have all amenities we want. Unfortunately, the internet WIFI is freaking slow. Just off the ring road an esy walk into the city centre. Pubic transport nearby. If you by mistake at night walk the opposite way to the city the area can feel a bit concerning at night but fine in the day. Good hotel friendly welcome. Pay parking at reception as parking machine a bit of a pain.

As a male I arrived at this hotel with a female friend/colleague, who fortunately I have known for years and have shared rooms with in the past, otherwise we were in serious trouble. The shower was in the middle of the room but there was no door separating it from the bedroom area meaning if I was in the shower my colleague could see me from just about anywhere in the bedroom. We laughed about it to begin with and thought it was a mistake but when we asked to be moved the hotel staff said it was... Read more

There is nothing wrong with the hotel itself, nor its location. But having booked a twin room for an overnight stay for myself and a colleague, I was mortified to discover the open plan bathroom in our room. Now I'm no prude, but getting naked in a glass shower in an open plan bathroom in front of a professional work colleague is NOT an option. This arrangement should be made known to visitors prior to bookings being accepted. The staff, who seemed mildly sympathetic to our situation, could have... Read more

A Hotel quiet close to all important areas (Old City, Shopping streets, Harbour and Reeperbahn Street. Quiet neighborhood with amenities in less than 100 meters. Clean and without noise rooms, clean and modern bath tube. Coffee and tea with compliments. Rather slow wi-fi that can be upgraded against payment. Still for business and news more than enough.

Great location, a short walk from the Alster to the east and St Pauli to the west. Service was good without being outstanding. There is a square around the corner from the hotel with a few bars and cafes on it or leading off it, which is good if you don't want to pay for breakfast.

I visited Hamburg from Berlin by rental car and finally found it for my next 3 days. It took me hours to escape German highways due to some of its ridiculous protesters who had tied Hamburg's traffic into knots. Yet, however, Germany's fools are still enabling more of them--mindless German kids and youth-hostel kids who spray-paint anything visible--while creating even more youth hostels, which have mushroomed. After much searching, I found the Lindner am Michel on a tiny back street. I disemb... Read more

I found the rooms modern, comfortable and restful. I didn't use the restaurant in the evenings, but the breakfast offered a good variety of buffet and hot choices. This hotel is well located and offers guests a pleasant stay with large airy rooms and nice ambience. The facilities are clean and modern. Rated as a 4 star hotel in German market, however probably not quite on the international scale as for me a swimming pool is missing to hit that 4 star mark. Drinks in the bar are reasonably priced and offer happy hour most nights.
