NO ELEVATOR AND 77 STEPS UP AND DOWN TO REACH THE ROOM WITH HEAVY SUITCASES. The hotel should tell people that they do not have an elevator. I had a later flight so joined my parents at the Cockpit hotel later. My elderly parents who both have hip replacements and difficulty walking had two heavy suitcases, when the receptionist handed them the key for a room that you had to reach by climbing 77 stairs up and down and up and down when my parents finally reached the smelly room in the basement ... First of all, I informed the hotel when I made the reservation that I was going to be arriving between 10-11pm because that is when my plane landed. When I arrived to the hotel in -3 degrees, with two large suitcases and 10:20pm at night in the dark, the door was locked and a note was on the door telling me to call a number to get a key from a 'nearby' hotel. I then had to walk 10 minutes in the cold with 2 large suitcases to get a key from a hotel down the street. Hotel Cockpit did not warn me ... Read more

the hotel is very dated, but clean. I had to collect my key from another hotel nearby, I did have to wonder how it was that they gave me one key which opened the front door and my room door as well. Was there one key for the whole hotel? It was not a card key. Parking was nearby. Lots of hot water, towels, black out blinds.

No one at the desk of the locked office when we arrived, other people waiting said it had been a while. The underground parking is only for go-cart sized vehicles, and the ground level so-called hotel parking is rapidly taken up by random neighbors. Breakfast is 10 euro extra per person and since serving didn't start until 7, we skipped it to get to the airport on time. Main positive about this place is it's proximity to the airport. Staff, when she finally arrived (and she was gone repeatedly ... Read more

The reason why people stay at airport hotels is often that you get in late with a plane. I came to this hotel at 11pm and the door was locked. There was a note on the door that said I had to walk to another hotel 10 min away to pick up the key. Unfortunately I had sent the taxi away. What is worse is that you pass Mariott Courtyard on the way to where you pick up the key and Motel One and you regret this choice of hotel. A part from this whey you get in there is a vending machine for drink... Read more

Advertising to be three star. Not true at all. Room was clean but that's it. Furniture old. Instead of a double bed we received twin beds. Paid 60â?¬. Far away from city center. Only stayed there because in city center was not anything below 100â?¬.
