I had a single room with shared bathroom. However, I seemed to have bathroom to myself for the 4 days I was there. Breakfast was excellent with a good variety. Reception staff were friendly, breakfast room staff less so but usually as they were too busy (one or two a bot slow clearing up so put themselves under pressure maybe). TV in room was not so good several channels did not work and no English -not even BBC news. Excellent free wifi.

I spent one night in a single room. (Room number 401) Excellent location, 100 m from the central train station. Very good breakfast. Other than that it was horrible... Very poor wifi connection. The room was extremely small with an extremely large bathroom. Very old furnitures and they seem dirty even if they are not. Very small bed made out of a sofa. There was a warning in the bathroom indicating that if the smoke detector in the room get activated because of the steam during bathing, you will... Read more

I was booked this hotel (not out of choice) for a work trip. Upon arrival and checking into my room, it was a single bed, no toilet, no shower and only a sink. I could touch each side of the hotel room if I stretched my arms out. I asked to move rooms to a room with a toilet and shower but was told there wasn't any available. Thankfully work were able to book me another hotel. Upon checking out I requested a taxi, the staff reluctantly booked one for me. I'm not a fussy person but the hotel... Read more

Would I stay here again? No. The hotel is very centrally located: under 5 minutes from Hamburg's central station and has easy access to a variety of restaurants. Reception service was efficient and courteous, but the breakfast staff were the exact opposite. Simply took no notice of people. The breakfast selection itself was fine. The bad news is that the rooms and upper floors are in dire need of a makeover and soundproofing may be an issue for you. My room (201) was clean, but looked shabby... Read more

Wow! Just cross the road from central station! I stayed 3 nights in a single room. It was very clean but quite small. There is a hair dryer in bathroom. Wifi was good connected. TV had no English channel though. Staffs were friendly.

the location cannot be better, there is a pucblic parking garage very near. Everything was very clean, we had shared bathroom (ridiculously small) but it was always free and clean. The room was average, i just missed to have dark courtains, but it was quiet. Breakfast also very nice, there was fresh bread, fruit, cereals, meat, coffee... And all that only for 45? per night for a double room! It was much better than expected.

The Hotel is in a great location for sightseeing. Bit noisy at night with drug and alcohol issues on the doorstep but that's a city for you. To be honest I took my teenage son and we had many discussions about drug and alcohol addictions and I used it as a positive .hotel staff fab, nice and friendly, room clean and everything we needed.first time in Hamburg and we will return, would use this hotel again. Breakfast staff lovely too say good morning and friendly.breakfast really good selection.

the price for the room was 136 ?. For this we got a room with a poorly equipped shower cabin (no place to put your toilet articles, a very small and dirty shower ),traces of black mildew as well as quite some rust in the structure around the shower, an old and dirty carpet and a television out of stone-age. Fortunately we got another room of a more acceptable status after i insisted to change. S.Thing positive never the less: The staff is friendly, the hotel has a renovated room for breakfa... Read more

The hotel is very well positioned right in the center of hamburg. Every thing you need is close by. The hotel is clean and tidy with spacious rooms. At night the area around the hotel is like downtown Kabul or Mogadishu with a variety of shops and peoples from around the world.I would not recommend walking around with expensive items on display.

Reception worked smoothly and the location is perfect close to the Hauptbahnhof and easy access to other parts on the city and airport. Lange Ruhe with its restaurants is nearby. Rooms are clean, bed comfortable. Wifi and showers work with no complaints. Also the breakfast was just what I appreciate. Very pleased with the choice.

Despite me having written evidence of my booking of a double room with king bed, I was left with a room with 2 widely separated single beds, no apology and a refusal of any kind of refund, instead told to take it up with booking.com. Breakfast was great but love lost by then.

Location excellent; just across the Central Train Station (5-7 minutes walk). Rooms are small with shared bath/toilet which are clean and tidy. WiFi works well. Breakfast is good with several options of fresh breads, fruits/salads, cereals, sausages, juice and tea/coffee. Reception staff is helpful. There are several eating joints nearby with Asian and Arabic dishes. In the evening, be careful while walking through the allies alone since a small red light district operates there. However, ...
