I had a two night stay. The location is just outside Frankfurt centre, but the hotel is easily accessible via either Messe or West rail stations. The hotel and my room were spotlessly clean, and my bed was very comfortable. I slept well. I didn't eat in the hotel, but I did have a drink and the bar area was comfortable and well presented. All the staff who served me, both at reception and the bar, were polite and friendly. The only problem was my room was warm, and the air con in my room ... Read more

I have been here several times and this time the experience was not as great as the last times. Everything felt so used that it even felt a bit shabby. The rooms a big but all the furnitures will need an update in the soon future. Still you can chose this place and have an ok stay but its not great anymore. Sorry Novotel!

Room was clean and a very good size. The big windows provided a lot of natural light and even opened all the way. The location isn't great for tourist spots but for business purposes it is fine. The breakfast also had a nice big selection as well.

I have used to spend quite some business trips in Novotel, but this time we stopped there with the whole family. Friendly staff, comfortable rooms, good deal with breakfast included. Can recommend also for families.

Is not so near the city center, but is close to a metro station. Offers a good structure for family with comfortable room and nice lobby. Service, attendants, breakfast and cleaning are also positive highlights.

This is an adequate hotel but our stay was let down in a couple of ways. Firstly we had pre booked dinner and the reservation stated a three course kids menu. There was no kids menu and we had to come up with suggestions which then had to be double-checked with the kitchen. Our two course meal then took two hours despite us being the only ones dining at the time. Secondly a check-out problem led to being charged in £ rather than ?, which was far harder to resolve than it ought to have bee... Read more

Great Hotel with excellent service. We arrived at 8am in the morning and all our 3 rooms were ready for us. Rooms were excellent, we were 2 adults and 2 teens and we had a room with a queen bed, double sofa and single sofa, plenty of room and we had a great nites sleep on the queen bed. Breakfast and dinner at the hotel was excellent, with great service. Overall a great stay.

A typical Novotel. I stayed here two nights for a show at the Messe. Be warned that the far end of the Messe (Halls 1-3) is a 20-25 minute walk from here. Doable but not ideal if it is raining. Room was quite large for a city hotel, bed supper comfy. Lack of english breakfast teabags a minus, but kettle was a plus. But I carry my own as a seasoned traveller! Bathroom fine & quite big, I just wish designers wouldn't hide the toilet behind the door. Difficult when you get up in the night without ... Read more

Stayed here on business and found all the services provided are in keeping with what you'd expect from the Novotel brand in Europe. It's functional and handy for most of the travel routes into Frankfurt city. The hotel bar is small, but friendly and there is food available. The buffet breakfast is varied. So, it meets the needs of the european business traveller well enough. Be aware, as others have said, some of the rooms are close to the railway line and there may be the need to ask to change ... I have stayed twice now for business in the past month, good friendly staff, clean rooms, good bar and nice breakfast spread. I have no complaints and would happily go back. The hotel offers good value! I also recommend the Mexican Taco place around the corner !

The accomodation was clean and practical for comfortable travel. The food was good and fresh. The rooms however do not have water. It however can be purchased downstairs at the vending machine. Wifi is free and fast. The hotel is 5 minutes away from the train station making it easy to access.

I am frequently visiting Frankfurt for business. I usually stay in the same hotel. This time I had to switch to another place and ended up in Novotel down town. The hotel is well located and has a business flavor but not more than that. Staff was running around during breakfast to clean tables to get everyone seated. It was difficult for them to timely accommodate crowd that was waiting to get a table assigned. Of course these situations can happen. Simply a shortage of staff. However, not reall... Read more

Novotel Frankfurt City is a good place to stay in Frankfurt. Location is good for visiting the trade fair and we were lucky to get a bigger room while we stayed there. It lives up to the standard you can expect from a Novotel and as such it is good value for money. I am happy to come back when in the area.

Everything in big hotel close Frankfurt-Messe was on a really high level and I am really sorry we were staying there only one night. Rooms are nice, spacious, clean with all possible equipment, staff professional and friendly. As it's big hotel with many groups that are comming by buses you should count on taking more time for breakfast. It's really good with wide selection of food, also dinner was very tasty - as expected for price we paid, while delicious red wine we ordered extra was not that... Read more

I have nothing bad to say about the personel, or the room at Novotel Hotel, BUT the payment procedure is a disaster. I have stayed at Novotel 2 times and both times, they have screwed up the payment. The first time was Novotel in Freiburg. They accidently charged us twice ?? of course when we got home we contacted them, and they apologized and corrected the mistake, still very annoying. Second time was Novotel in Frankfurt. They have a system so they reserve a deposit from our bank account (13... Read more

Good enough for business and overnight stay when traveling. This Novotel is a more average hotel, with a location near the Messe. More geared towards business stay. Surrounded by large buildings, not much to do/see. Reception friendly but slow. Mostly due to a trainee and a bus load new arrivals. Small room with queen size bed and sofabed. Both with not so good mattresses. Flatscreen TV, empty minibar (beverage sales at reception), free wifi (Accor members premium connection). Clean and qui... Read more

Stayed for a night in the first week of Sept-2016. Reached quite late (around 12.00AM) in the night only to be welcomed by an un-courteous gentleman at desk who virtually did not know English. Specifically informed him that I needed a room with walk-in shower instead of a bath-tub because of my wife's injury in the leg. At first he made poses as though he did not understand what a walk-in shower meant and then asked his colleague and reverted that all the rooms have walk-in shower. Finally, when... Read more

Stayed a couple of times while on business. Better than other Novotels I've stayed in. Hotel is very clean, light and airy. Rooms are a decent size, with air conditioning. Bar is spacious and quiet with a large TV showing sport. Separate restaurant area. Food is good value for money. Breakfast very good and caters for all tastes. Patio area seats 25ish. Staff on reception very helpful during the day/evening.

Location is good, rooms are spacious enough but a bit bouring. Breakfast is OK , rather expensive. Bit noissy by other guests . Bar is OK . Good enough for business travellers but not on same level as Novotel Arnulfstrasse in München or Novotel Centre Ville in Nürnberg.

Not a Novotel grade hotel. Suprised that it is even an Accor hotel at all. Half the rooms are facing a train track with trains every 2 min, and all night long. Staff not keen on assisting with our problems, and not interested in changing rooms upon request. Old facility. Bus station quality toilet paper. I feel absolutely schammed by booking thinking it would be a real Novotel.

This wasn´t such a nice experience. When booking, the price was set to the demand due to AutoMechanika exhibition at the Frankfurter Messe, over ?400,- for one night standard room. Anyway, it seemed fine for this time, especially because there would be parking space, it was close to the Messe and the rooms looked nice on the website. Upon arrival, no possibility to park my car. When asked if I could park my car in front of the reception, where some other cars where, I was told not to because ... Read more

A descent business Hotel near Messe. You have to pay everything extra... From breakfast up to the table water which there in German in general is much more expencive than beer... The mini bar is empty, we where 2 guys and we where given a small double bed and finally you near all day and all might long the nearby trains to pass...

Had a good stay in the novatel, room was fantastic in size, clean and functional, nespresso machine was a nice touch. We ate both nights in the restaurant, it was small and causal but food was of good quality and size. Breakfast was fantastic by European standards plenty of options warm and cold. Location ok, but not too much around locally, close to train line but rooms air conditioned so you can keep window closed.

We stayed one night end of August in two connecting rooms. The rooms provide a standard Novotel experience with all amenities provided. Perfect beds, clean rooms, standard breakfast (which we had included in our rate). The metro (and the Messe) is a few minutes walk and the connection to the city only took an extra few minutes. All in all a decent Novotel experience.

This hotel do not have anything especial and it's just ok. Service was just average with some english language gaps, but room was provided as requested. Stayed there just for one night and as mentioned it's just ok. The room felt like it was used by smokers and did not felt that it was really very clean. Breakfast was an extra (a bit expensive) and again just ok as at least I was expecting more for price payed. Overall, just ok, but will not stay there again.

Stayed 2 nights on a business trip. Hotel is not that well located and you need to walk a bit for trams of S Bahn. Hotel rooms are a bit on the shabby side and I would say they need a refurbishment. I was also disappointed to be given a room right opposite the elevators which meant noise from other guests at all time of the night and early in the morning. I would not want to stay here again.

I can't say that the hotel is bad, but is basically unimpressive. The rooms lack character and the hotel needs a urgent freshen up. I have read about the hotel prior to booking it, so I was not disappointed. The hotel was located a bit out of the city and there was really nothing excited going around. However it was a nice and safe neighborhood. The front desk staffs are cordial and like most German hotels, they are efficient, but not too personable. I don't think the clerk was aware of m...
