The hotel is just a few minutes walk to Frankfurt Main train station. The area around the hotel has mixed restaurants that are cheap right up to one very expensive one. The area is as you would expect around a train station but that also encourages trendy bars and so on to open. The room I booked was a single and was very comfortable with good use of space so the room never felt too small. Breakfast was excellent - big choice and helpful staff (throughout the hotel).. Do try the hotel bar -... Read more

Good quality, clean, and fresh. Not worn down like many low priced hotell. Exelent breakfast and helpful and friendly persons in the reception. And quite central to the city centre. A little drawback that it is not easy to park in the street outside/near. But OK to rent the hotels (19? pr day/24h) parking space nearby.

We arrived rather early in the morning but were able to check-in after just a short wait in the bar (the receptionist advised us that a first floor room was available immediately, but recommended that we wait to have a quieter one on the 4th floor). Both the receptionist and barman were super-friendly and helpful. Upstairs, our room was cosy and comfortable. The minibar, while pricey, was silent, which was a nice change from several hotels we have recently stayed at. On the first evening, afte... Read more

We only stayed one night at the Bristol on our way back from driving along the Rhine. The gals at the desk spoke perfect English and without us asking upgraded us to a suite. The room was spacious, clean and you could not ask for more. Breakfast was included and it also was top notch! So much to choose from and a very attentive staff made sure you always had a full cup of coffee.

Just spent three nights at this hotel. Reception staff were good and pleasant. Room was nice and clean, good free wifi and a very good breakfast. The location was very good just 2 minutes walk from the main station but the location was quiet.

Days before traveling I was impressed with the photos, and it's true the outside garden and the bar are excellent. But the rest is terrible. On the day of check-in i was in a hurry because i had to go to a fair, and recepcionist not find my reservation, already paid, so after 45 minutes waiting she gave me the key to the wrong room, where I find someone else sleeping! Apology? NO , they dont use. DEPLORABLE. I had to ask earnestly to change my bed linen because it was three days that cleaning te... Read more

I was in Frankfurt for business and stayed for 2 nights in the hotel. The staff was nice and friendly. They helped me a lot. I got terribly sick, so they offered me any help, showed me the nearest pharmacy, supermarket, and provided me a teapot (there wasn't any in the room). Breakfast is really good, and the service as well. However, it was a bit cold in the room (maybe I had a fever), and a blanket is too small (!!!) even for one person. Pillows are not the best, not really comfortable to slee... Read more

This is quite a nice hotel. It's clean, the staff are friendly, there's a good variety of breakfast options provided, and the geographical location (2-minute walk from Frankfurt's main railway station) is terrific. You also get free wifi, which worked well throughout our stay. My girlfriend and I stayed here for four nights, and felt it was OK but probably not as good as the 4-star rating suggests. Our room and bathroom in particular was very small (but clean), there's no tea/coffee making faci... Read more

Room super Amazing breakfast, very nice staff, very close to the Hauptbanhof and very accessible to the main attractions! Not a bad thing to talk about this hotel, and the fair was also very reasonable.

One little advice: when getting to the hotel from the Train station, take the shortest path to the hotel by going all the way down the track 24 platform and go out through the bike parking lot which is right next to a big 'B' sign. Then it will be one short block to the hotel. I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights with my girlfriend. We got a twin room which was spacious and comfy. It's clean and quiet, nothing fancy and nothing to complain about. The breakfast bar was fantastic and I love their f... Read more

Near the main train station (Haupbanhof)--a fairly easy walk with wheeled suitcases (ours could pass for carry-ons). Though we arrived around noon, we were graciously welcomed and provided with a room right away. Any questions we had during our three night stay were answered in a professional and friendly manner by the front desk staff. Breakfast buffet selections were excellent.

We had a very brief stay at the Hotel Bristol in Frankfurt. We spent one night here. We booked the hotel last summer and got a very good rate for two people. The room is very comfortable and it is very clean. The common areas in the lobby and the lounge and the breakfast room are very nice as well. The staff was very gracious to us and informative when we arrived. The breakfast buffet that is complementary with your room was excellent. So many choices, everything fresh and the breakfast room... I stayed here for one night on business to attend a conference at Kap Europa - it was a hotel on the conference recommendation list and close proximity to the venue, I tripadvisor-d the hotel before getting the travel agent to book. Seemed like a good find; good price, high rank and decent reviews and photos. The 3 star rating I have given is mostly for the front-desk staff who were friendly and helpful. The rest was a let down. Rooms were modern ish and clean - my room was a bit warn in plac... Read more

The room was clean and tidy, the Marshall speaker with the bluetooth link was amazing. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a lot of choices. Although the hotel is conveniently located, the drawbacks would be that it is close to a dodgy street, you wouldn't want to find yourself lost during the night. Another point would be that the bathroom was a little on the small side and water would spill out on the whole floor during showers. Overall, it was a nice experience, the Bristol Bar and the lo... Enter the room, long corridor with a minimal bathroom, which is ok. Further down the corridor a singel bed with an non-excisting pillow. Strange smell of covering something. At The end of The bed is a desk and then the window, with no blind-curtain. Where to put my suitcase without climbingover it?

We stayed here for 3 nights as a couple. It was our first time in Frankfurt and the hotel was really easy to find as it is next to the Hauptbahnhof station. The hotel location is pretty central - a lot of the tourist destinations are walkable (~20 minutes) or really easy to reach by trains/subways. There isn't an awful lot going on in the immediate vicinity of the hotel but do remember you are less than 5 minutes away from the train station. Check-in was really easy and we found that the room si... Read more

Arrived about 8:30 a.m. from airport and we were able to get our room immediately which was great since we were on an international flight. Stayed five nights with three adults traveling together -- a single room with a twin bed which was small, but adequate for one person, and two of us in a room with two twin beds. Not as big as American hotel rooms, but it worked for us. Had a walk in shower which was really nice, and much easier to access than the tubs in some hotels in Europe. Also, had... Read more

It was a very clean, nice hotel, but the location was not the best. My tour guide said it was in a "Red Zone". It did not look bad, but it was kinda "sketchy". It was a very nice hotel regardless. Great breakfast.

Love the hotel and the staff and I will stay here again. Even in daylight the area has gone downhill in the last couple of years. I came by taxi at night as I wasnt comfortable walking alone this year. The easiest way to get here if you arrive in the main station is to exit the train station by platform 24 and you can be in the hotel in 3 minutes walking. The breakfast is great and was until 1pm in the afternoon on weekends. This is unheard of in Germany so I was pleasantly surprised.

Great value for money hotel. We had a double room with wireless Marshall speaker and free internet access. We stayed on the 5th floor overlooking the courtyard and found it very quite. The bathroom, which only had a shower, was fairly compact but this and the room were kept very clean during our stay. If you like a good breakfast then this is the place for you. The staff were friendly and helpful. The area is what it is but the hotel is seconds away from the main road leading into the centre of ... Read more

I stayed here for just one night before continuing my journey and chose it partly due to it being just a few minutes' walk from the Hauptbahnhof and the long distance bus station. The small room that I had booked was very small but it had a desk and armchair, was spotlessly clean, the bed was comfortable and the air conditioning and shower worked well. The breakfast was plentiful and very nice and the staff were all friendly and spoke excellent English. I was asked when I was checking in if I... Read more

I checked in with my family of 3 in this small hotel close to the main station in Frankfurt. Our room was big in European standard with enough moving space with an extra bed for my teenage son. The hotel had free wifi and breakfast sptead was elaborate. The staff were very friendly. We didn't try main meal since thete were lots of good eateries around including Indian restaurant . Thete is a nice summet garden lounge which was not open in the month of October when we visited. This hotel provides... Read more

The cleanliness of the overall was fair. We were offered a twin bed instead of a double as expected. The room was a bit small. Breakfast was a highlight of the stay. The choices of breakfast were more than sufficient. Hot water can be provided in the room for drinking purpose.

Reception staff friendly and professional. Hotel is located near the rail station - the area surrounding is not friendly - would not recommend walking about at night - I did not feel safe. Hotel is OK. Room was very basic, but clean - no special touches. Breakfast was OK, again nothing to boast about. Breakfast waiters were rather unfriendly. Free wifi was good. I am sorry to say that I would not stay here again
