Great staff, good breakfast, comfortable beds. The train station is nearby, but no disturbing noise. The nice city centre is close. I would be surprised if someone was profoundly disappointed in this hotel. Everything is as it should be.

As this hotel is right at the station, I was concerned that it might be noisy. Instead I was very pleasantly surprised how quiet it is. So, given the convenience of being close to the station and city center, it is an excellent deal. Bkfst is also an immense spread (perhaps normal by German standards!).

Stayed here in April 2016 while visiting the city. Pretty much everything you need in walking distance. The rooms are small but very clean and well equipped. The staff are excellent, very friendly and can't do enough to help you.

hotel located in the center of the crowd , but to provide comfort and friendly with satisfactory service , which is within the station makes traveling is very easy, with the euro bus station is very close , a lot of eating places with various options such as restaurants or Muslim halal restaurant

You're not staying at the Ibis for decor or view, so forget that. What you do get at the Ibis Hauptbahnhof in Dusseldorf is: - a fantastically convenient location right inside the main train station -- and yet, no sound whatsoever - a room spacious for Ibis, enough to do one's morning stretching exercises - a perfect bed - really good pillows, unusual in any hotel in my experience - a roomy shower with great water pressure and plenty of hot water - great wifi connection - TV channels that inclu... Stayed here with seven lads on a football trip. Hotel was very reasonably priced and offered everything we needed for a boys weekend away. Very basic, but clean and tidy with friendly staff. The location is also very attractive and proved to be extremely good value for money.

It was during the fair. Pricing was good for that time. It is a small room and a little outdated. It was clean and safe. Location is perfect, you are literally inside the station. Staff was really nice too. Wifi worked fine. When I am traveling for business, these are the only things that are important to me.

I stayed in this hotel two weeks during the DRUPA Exhibition, where even a bathtub gets expensive and an IBIS costs a roaring Eur 180.-- / night. This IBIS is located right in the Düsseldorf main train station, a rather dirty place where normally you would not want to hang out. Especially women might no feel save to return to the hotel alone at night. It is an rather old IBIS and I would rate the standard below average of this hotel chain. You have to make sure during your reservation to get ... Read more

I have stayed in this hotel several times. Excellent location, polite and helpful staff, high quality internet services, clean rooms, high secure access to room, good quality bed, perfect sleep quality, well design hotel and quick response to service requests are all I would say about ibis Dusseldorf HBf Hotel. For short stay in Dusseldorf this hotel is the best choice.

Stayed at this after the week earlier being at the Ibis Dusseldorf City. This is on top of the station, the rooms are slightly better and the rate I paid slightly more expensive. It s convenient for the city as around the station there is a lot of restaurants, small shops etc so if you don't want to go far this is OK. You walk to the Shadow Mall (15 mins) or take the metro. Koenigsalle is 2 stops from the train station on the metro 10 mins walk Rooms are OK, bed comfy, staff nice and effic... Read more

The rooms give to a quiet courtyard ,I stayed in a room side railway station. When the windows of the corridor to the station are closed we don't hear the trains and the noise of the railwaystation. But one morning about 8 o'clock the staff make a lot of noise with working or cleaning but also open the windows all morning/day to railwaystation. When the windows are open is the noise very strong when a train passes by or brake. I didn't understand,It shows little respect to the customer.

The location of this property at the central train station makes it an ideal hotel for both train and airport travellers. As well, Public transport is just outside. Although Ibis properties are not at the high end of the market, this property is ideal for a short stay and we found the staff very friendly, efficient and helpful. Our room was very clean, bed comfortable and linen fresh although the bath towels were a little thin. Hair dryer and fixed body wash container in shower as well as soap ... Read more

This hotel is located inside the Dusseldorf Hauptbahnhof station. The rooms are spacious and functional. It is a modern hotel in a great location for travelers arriving by rail. Even though it is inside the railway station, the rooms are very quiet. Breakfast had a good variety. The cost of the room was very reasonable.

Very convenient if you are coming by train, the hotel is in the main station building - there is an entrance off the concourse. Despite this its surprisingly quiet, I didn't hear any train or traffic noise and there is a courtyard with a few tables behind the bar/reception

The good thing about Ibis hotels is that they are basically all the same no matter where you go: no frills, clean, no personality. But that's about it. The location of this Ibis hotel is its upside and downside at the same time. Located inside the main train station it's easy to get to, but it's also a bit rough and tumble (not in a good way) around it. If you just need a roof over your head, ok. If you are after a pleasant experience, try to find something else.

This hotel is literally in the train station, which for us was incredibly convenient for our purposes. The front desk staff was welcoming and friendly. The lobby appears to have been updated. The rooms however, have not. They were clean though, beds comfortable and linens good. Bathroom is small (but expected). The hallways, rooms and flooring are definitely dated and worn. But for the price, it was just fine. you just have to set the expectation level correctly. Nothing was dirty o... Read more

When it comes to location you couldn't be more centrally located, the hotel being in the Dusseldorf train station. Despite its very central location, noise isn't an issue at all. The rooms are functional, double bed, TV and shower unit, alas no mini-bar or drinks making facilities which would be helpful after a busy day of sightseeing, but this would add to the cost of the room. So if you want a well located functional room and intend to spend the majority of your time out, which is what you w... Read more

Stayed here for a night to catch an early morning flight . Very conveniently located next to the main station . Friendly staff. Rooms are basic but good . They offer comfort and are quiet inspite of proximity to the station . Definitely recommended for short stays .

I serious didn't enjoy my time at this hotel one bit. Okay, the front desk staff were nice, and the rooms were okay, oh and they also have free wifi (though on a slow bandwidth but it was enough for my needs), however it was the nightmare that I had with the breakfast staff that really put me off. Namely they wanted to charge me 11 euros for a bowl of cornflakes, and more so I almost suspected that one of the was even going to charge me another 11 euros while I sat in the breakfast hall with my ... When it comes to lodging, for the most part, all I ask for is for the lodging to be safe (secure location and locks) and sanitary (clean, NO bugs). Oh, a central location is good, too. Ibis Dusseldorf Hauptbahnhof fit my requirements nicely. I reserved a room with twin beds. Although the space was very small, it was clean and the bed served its purpose. The only thing I didn't like was that my room was close to the train tracks. So, trains could be heard occasionally. Thankfully, I'm a sound s... Read more

This hotel is located inside Duesseldorf Central Station, with very good connections to the international airport or other cities. Rain or snow, you`ll get to the trains quite easily. The rooms are faced to an inner area.

I used to stay at the airport before early flights but this is my new choice and way cheaper. Literally in the train station so super easy to get early morning connections regardless of weather and traffic. Rooms are small but very clean with laminate floor (i.e. No gross carpet). TV has BBC World and a couple other English channels.

Very helpful team, comfortable room and good breakfast! The location is super - right beside the entrance to Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof (main station). In spite of being in the town centre, the rooms are very quiet.
