Room was nice service was excellent along with the food. I had a room in the front on the street that was a little noisy from cars and the train. The local specialities from the kitchen was a very nice touch. Great for a visitor to the city.

We travelled with Shearings for the Christmas markets. The room was very large clean and had two large single beds. The pillows were huge and very soft like duckdown. The only drawback was the beds had tiny duvets which slip off as you're sleeping. There are coffee making facilities in the room and a fridge, but unfortunately no safe. The breakfasts were huge buffet style with everything you could ask for. the evening meal was 3 course but without a choice. The staff were really friendly and helpf... Read more

We stayed only one night as we were traveling from Sweden to Austria but everything was fine. The room was quite big and comfortable and our dog was welcome too :-) About breakfast we cannot say anything as we left early in the morning.

One of the major pluses of this hotel is that it has the Elbe river flowing from just behind. There is also a walkway in case you want to take a walk. Otherwise, the location of the hotel is about 3-4km from the city center. The rooms are of average size with nothing great to write about. If you have got used to Mercure way of living, is a good place to go.

Its a nice little hotel close to the river. Very basic facilities but rooms are good enough. They have got few free parking spaces. Paid parking is also available at their premises. Breakfast was average. They looked short on staff because refilling was taking a lot of time. Otherwise, I had a good short stay at this hotel.

Situated directly on the Elbe and a short trip by car or public transport to town centre. Would recommend this place if you wanted to stay somewhere a bit more peaceful than directly in the town. I stayed in the superior room which had plenty of space and a balcony. However there was just a big space with little furniture. The balcony was ok to stand on but you couldn't sit outside and the view was of blocks of flats and the Elbe off to the side. The carpet had a nasty black stain on i... Read more

Situated on a busy and lively main road and near a train station..., but to the rear of this hotel, almost the total opposite. This hotel has an attractive restaurant and terrace over looking the nearby river...with fields on the opposite bank. Much rowing activity on the river in the evenings and very pleasant green spaces to sun-bathe and riverside walks too. We would recommend rooms to the REAR of this hotel situate to enjoy the views....as did our room which was most attractive and comforta... Read more

No air con, no fans for guests despite being in the 80's was promised a fan but was told they had run out - I visited this hotel when it 1st opened and have things got better NO No No. Surly reception staff, dining staff who cant cope and expensive drinks. We did mention on leaving that we were both disabled and had requested a room near a lift - not the furthest away which we were given on the 1st floor to be laughed at and told 'Well you did get a nice view!'
