Very good location, walking distance to Christmas markets, and other sites. Clean and comfortable rooms. Only bad thing was that internet was 10 a day for One device. Breakfast was ok. Was able to check in early.

The Lilienstein is one of three hotels--east German era concrete slabs--located just north of the Hauptbahnhof. In typical Ibis style, it offers clean accommodation at a reasonable price. It is hard to criticize this hotel because everything worked and we pretty much had all we really needed. My big caveat about the Lilienstein is that it is popular with tour groups. So the hotel is always awash in loud, unalloyed exuberance. It can be difficult to get near reception and one often waits minutes ... Read more

The crew was very helpful, the hotel's location is very good - right in the middle of a shopping center. The rooms were a bit small for us (2 adults and a 2 y/o girl) Breakfast was very good. No free parking - costs 6 Euros per day. Most of the crew was English speakers.

This hotel (one of three Ibis hotels which bizarrely are next to each other on the Prager str.) is only a short walk from the main railway station on a busy shopping street (next to a shopping mall) and not too far from the old town. An ideal place from which to explore the city on foot. Like any hotel of the Ibis chain it Is basic but clean, good value for money and serves reasonable breakfast.

I liked Dresden very much and usually an Ibis-Hotel is not the reason to be disappointed on a trip. I have never been in Dresden thirty years ago, but I suppose, the charm of this hotel didn´t change. I missed the Ibis-Style in design, the usually very comfortable beds and friendly staff. The top of my disappointment was reached at the breakfast, when I entered a very overcrowded and loud breakfast room which was like a canteen. The welcome-drink who is included for businesscard-owners or Accor... Read more

We had no problems with noisy neighbours and hotel was conveniently sited. A problem we had as with other hotels of this and other companies was the supply of cold air was with a not the quietest of fans and the air was not chilled. Contrary to the request notice we opened the window and found a supply of cold air.

I reserved one double bed room, but after I entered the room, I found it's a two single bed room...(check-in staff didn't tell me about that, she should know, right?) I called staff, she said it's IMPOSSIBLE to give me a double bed room tonight. Disappointed and not happy about that. Staff didn't give me internet code card initiatively, since I had showed my Accor GOLD member card at check-in. When I wanted to use wifi, I found it's not free to everyone, I have to go to reception desk and ask a... Read more

Nothing spectacular but good location, immaculate rooms, filling breakfast at a cheap rate. Downsides: Business corner with PCs and printer always out of order, Wifi by scratch-card only work on one device, definitely to be improved.

The rooms are very basic but with ac. The sun was full to our window room. Result, very hot in the room. We wanted to put the ac on: was not functioning. At the reception they simply told me that it was not warm enough outside so no ac, just open the window. So we walked, went to the city centrum: very nice city. We eat somewhere and we tried to be as late as possible back to the hotel. The room was a little cooler but still warm so it took us time to fall asleep. Overall good value for the pric... Read more

First off: Don't expect class or much comfort. Very basic. No refrigerator. Not sure if German hotels have them at all, as I've never experienced it. The 3 Ibis Hotels are on the pedestrian zone Prager Strasse, with many shopping and eating possibilities. Even with luggage, walking to/from the main train station is easy and takes just 5 mins. We stayed in the Ibis Lilienstein with my mom's medium size dog (an extra 11 Euros per day). Room cost 63 Euros, and was VERY small for 2 people and a dog... Read more
