A great hotel, and walking distance over the bridge into town. Nice room, and a pleasant surprise to have a terrace outside. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Reception guys were great - a special shout out to Mauro, Robert and Danar. So helpful and pleasant. A good breakfast to set you up for the day. I'll be back...

A great stay from check in to check out. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was large in size, lots of room with a huge work station and great internet service. The outdoor terrace was a great place to enjoy a coffee and catch up on some work. A easy 10 min walk to the downtown area. I would stay at this hotel again

Impeccable staff, had a bit of an issue at checkin but was resolved immediately. No issue with room, breakfast perfect. Quite far from city centre but has an easy route in to city. Pretty average Raddison, no different to any other chain hotel.

Stayed at the hotel for a concert at the (very) nearby Lanxess Arena and had a really nice time. The hotel was extremely clean and tidy, the room had everything we needed (hairdryer, showercap, 'rain' showerhead as well as a normal one, guide to all the shops, a guide to running routes etc etc) as well as a huge balcony door which was overlooking the courtyard type area that has outdoor seating for the bar, and a small pond with ducks. We've enjoyed our little weekend break in Koln... And the Radisson blu is an excellent choice to visit the city from. Although the hotel is a little out of the city it has easy public transport access to the neumarkt. The hotel is beautifully looked after and the staff are great, we even managed an early check in and a late check out so definite brownie points there... The rooms are spacious and well decorated with all amenities, no complaints what so ever. Though the restaurants are a little ex... Read more

It's in a great spot for the conference centre across the street. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. Wifi worked well for me through the stay. The gym is good (not a lot of free weights but enough for a couple of days) and the wet and dry saunas are fantastic. The lobby bar area is lively and a great place to wait for people. Staff are friendly and responsive.

Very good hotel to stay for business. Close to transportation (underground and train). Only slight disadvantage is the hotel is far away (10-15 min) from restaurants or city center. Restaurant and bar at hotel are good with tasty Pizza and hamburger dishes.

The location is not in the center of Cologne, but you can easily go to the center by cab or walking. The hotel is quite new, clean and quiet. It has a small gym and also sauna. Regarding food, the breakfast is very good. The food in the Paparazzi restaurant is good, but the service is too slow, so if you want to eat something quick you better call the room service.

Very pleasant stay at the Radisson. Our luggage did not arrive at Dusseldorf Airport and the reception staff at the hotel were extremely helpful with extra toiletries. One of the female staff at reception made telephone calls on our behalf and we really appreciated this as we had only a few words of German. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Breakfast excellent with a variety of food. We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and would definitely return.

The hotel is a typical business hotel, when you walk down the corridor you cannot tell in which country you are. When you have breakfast, however, you know you are in Germany with a lot of bread choices. The staff speaks multiple languages, though, and also the food options go beyond bread & butter. Yes, this is an expensive place to stay the night. It is also very efficient and luxurious. Spacious rooms, large reception hall, flawless WiFi everywhere: everything you'd expect from an upmarket hotel. Just one complaint: the shower was disappointing at best. Low water pressure, heavily fluctuating water temperature. And standing in a bathtub for a shower? Meh. Possibly the water issue was because my room happened to be at the end of the hallway, but even then, not really an excuse.

It is quite obvious from the way this hotel is run that owners/management realize that with their proximity to the Messe, that they have a captive audience, and they don't need to have high standards. All-in- all this isn't a bad hotel. Location for the conference center is excellent, the rooms and lobby are spacious, and the decor is interesting. However, what separates quality in a 4+ star hotel is services, upkeep and cleanliness; that the Radisson Blue fails in all three categories: - Th... Read more

As usual the staff at Cologne Radisson was very good. The breakfast has declined and the rooms are in need of a face lift. I would still highly recommend staying at this location. The bar and bar staff are hard workers and check in and check out staff were great to interact with.

We stayed there for weekend for seminar. The hotel is at great location, near station that can get u to airport in 15 minutes. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Especially about metro information and sightseeing tips. The big ( - ) for me is gym. It only has 3 equipments ( leg kick, lat machine, shoulder press ) and free weight up to only 8 killos. There is 2 tredmils, steeper and bit more for cardio. Sauna is great but I believe that high class hotel should at least have more decent gym. Gre... Read more

Another box ticker from the Radison Blu group.. Great hotel, great security, loved the much bigger room ( compared to London ) and the bar was , lets just say very interesting and lots of fun. Also witnessed the Carnival madness, which was amusing. Hotel food wasnt 10 out of 10 but there are plenty of great eateries in close range. Great, clean and modern hotel with impeccable staffing.. Recommend to anyone

TL;DR: tried to book a hotel and spa package with various additional amenities on the Radisson Blu website, was charged accordingly, then told we'd only gotten a room--no spa, etc. Unhappy customers show staff glitch in website and they rectify, but only after almost 2 hrs of waiting, after an almost three hour drive. *** This hotel is a wonderful place, and our stay ended up being great with the help of the staff, but I've declined give more than a three star rating for the hassle of getting ... Stayed at Radisson Blu, Deutz, Köln for 2 nights for the Xmas markets. Although not central, Deutz is on the 'other' side of the river from the main town, there is a tram stop right opposite. Although a bit of a maze to negotiate the crossings to get there! Trams are frequent and being Germany, reliable and safe. 5 stops to the city centre. Runs into the early hours too. Hotel big and spacious yet not anonymous. Staff were nice and helpful. Room well equipped - iron and board, usual tea and c... Read more
